10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

Topped this girl this week. Growing pretty good so far. I’ll be potting up to 3 gal pots next week sometime. I also have a Bison Brew that I’ll be using sometime after transplant.

We had 8 straight days above 30 Celsius, below 40% humidity. Plants were on the limit and working hard. Growing outdoor is absolutely an amazing journey but not for the faint hearted 😘 I had to water the plants 2/3 times a day and manage nutrition in between. I was on the edge of overfeeding, some burned leaf tips are visible. They're not finished yet. But chopping window is starting. This week we have thunderstorms and rain. Plants are inside my barn now. I really hope for better wheater circumstances soon. Just a few more of those sunny days please :) We have 90% humidity now. Checking for budrot twice a day. Video is after 8 day heatwave, just before first thunderstorms. The super auto lemon Hazes are growing fastest. Some smell sweet and orange other are pure lemon . Very pleasant. Not provocative. Many phenotypes. These are relatively cheap local seeds. I'm still excited with these girls. So different but all attractive ☺️. The Northern Lights Automatic is going strong solid and is swelling. In looks it difficult to see difference with some lemon Hazes but the smell is distinct and recognisable. The Diesel Automatic is my lovehate. She is doing difficult from beginning and became a small plant with vulnerable leafs. Buds are small but megapotent and impressively characteristic. This strain is far more interesting and layered than expected.

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. Happy Weekend Friends, After another mixed week i gave her the chop last night on a dry and windy evening. Shes reached her fullest and was ready. I would just like to say thank you too @DutchPassion_Official for letting me take part as i've really enjoyed this grow and watching her beautiful flowers develop. She grew like a champ despite terrible weather conditions and this a strain definitely suited to the UK outdoors. I did find a bit of budrot in the main cola and one of the others which i managed to cut out, but given the amount of rain sustained its hardly surprising and overall she stood up really well. Trimming took ages as this gal is really dense with a high leaf to calyx ratio, but im left with what seems to be a really decent amount of solid purple 😊 Just got wait for this baby to dry now and then il give the final weight and smoke report in the coming weeks. I'm glad I found GD it's helped me asking the prices of this very First Ever grow... plug.. I learned allot and have started germinating my next set. On to the next One/Week...

Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Week 7 of flowering 10/30/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 7 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Last week PH drop happened again a couple of days after the major flush. PH in rootzone is getting lower every day. Runoff still at 10-20%, so no salt buldup, EC same as intake or litttle higher. Flushed again with FloraKleen and watered with TriPart Micro, Grow, Bloom with CalMag. Bought Potassium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate as suggested by "Aqua Man", to buffer coco in the future. Das ist heute der letzte Tag mit Licht, es folgen 36 Stunden Dunkelphase und dann wird geerntet. Dieser grow hat sich toll entwickelt und hat soweit keine Probleme bereitet! Die terps beider Pflanzen sind sagenhaft und ich werde definitiv nochmal Z-ups in mein Zelt stellen. Ich bin sehr angetan von der Qualität der neuen Fastbuds strains!
