Defoliated them a little. Nothing special. I try to keep at least 3 or so big leaves below the net jfust in case there is an issue with the plant where it shows the symptoms at the lower branches first. I believe this way I'm faster to diagnose in case something does go wrong with feeding. Oh yeah, trellis is about 30cm (give and take) above the pots

New week. 55-65 DLi. Been smoking some Pakistani Landrace this week, must say, its exceptional. The plant shifts its energy entirely from vegetative growth to flower production. Small blemishes are creeping in, but expected, holding up remarkably well given the circumstances. A high CEC acts as a nutrient "storehouse", preventing essential cations from being washed away by water (leaching) and making them available for gradual plant uptake. Soils with high CEC can store larger quantities of nutrients, allowing for less frequent, potentially larger, fertilizer applications compared to low-CEC (sandy) soils which require smaller, more frequent doses. By providing a steady and dependable supply of nutrients, high-CEC soils support healthier plant growth and potentially higher crop yields. Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! This was the last week that I did defoliation on the plant. I defoliated very heavily the plant this week, I removed most of the fan leaves and a ton of small bud sites that would only generate popcorn buds. Unfortunately, the defoliation did not go as planned, I accidentally cut my trelluse net and remove one big branch by mistake, but the plant looked like it bounced back and is not showing any problems. This was also the last week that I gave mycorrhizal and applied foliar spray DAY 114 - Nutes PH - 5.83 PPM- 2830 Solution Temp - 18 Watering Volume - 4L Foliar PH - 6.29 PPM- 2270 Solution Temp - 20.5 Watering Volume - 200ml

Day 8 - Decided to put em in a diy dwc hydro setup till oxypots arrive.... initially was planning on soil pots and the roots are coming out the sides of the jiffy pots... so, 2L ice cream container, mix up 6.2 ph 500 ppm solution, cut a few jiffy sized holes .... blow bubbles in the water afew times a day.... lol Using abit of old Dutch Master Gold One Grow atm.... and i'll look at using some Nutrified elements grow, Crystalic, rock nitro, dutch master gold one grow/flower.... :) ice cream containers worked out perfect for jiffy... ....perfect for the seedling stage.... baby dwc for baby seedlings.... also gave me a chance to test out dwc....... i'll build this as i go... going to be a interesting grow for me.... 😎

1/30/21Saturday morning had me lounging, watering, pruning and a photo shoot. I am hoping for a quick recovery from the middle plant after some pruning was done. I was hoping it would stretch one last time so I could move the light but I am parked there for the time. Another week has passed, and we're closer to the end than I estimated. I chopped their mom on Day 70 and expected similar for her offspring, but we're now on Day 49, and the girls look to be done in a week or two. I've started seeing more frost, which indicates that the trichomes are turning cloudy. No amber yet, though. So there's that. It will take a while longer. But 21 days? With the senescence I'm seeing? Update time. (1 day early) During week 8 Watered once with compost tea (Worm castings and unsulfured molasses) Light defoliation every few days on bottom leaves/popcorn buds Noticed some of the girls fan leaves are darker than others. These autos are very sensitive to nutes/light/watering. **Promoted to Apprentice Grower. Thanks!! :D Plan for week 9 Planning on adding phosphate/potassium with dry amendments one more time during this week. Nitrogen seems to be showing a bit high in a few of the girls and not in the others. Not sure if its early N toxicity or just the genes of the plants. Feeding each one the same. Watering with regular PH water 6.6-6.8 (checking run off) More minor defoliation as I see fit. Overall really happy still with this grow! I am definitely a "Newbie" when it comes to growing Autos so this is a great learning experience. I have noticed these girls really don't need too heavy of nutrients and are very sensitive plants.
