Fingers crossed I've got my bloom formula nailed down now. Resolved an issue with fungus gnats and having a small problem with some 2 spotted spider mites, which I treated with some predatory mites which is the reason I had to turn up the humidity as this species of predator mite likes it above 60%.

Chopped the Blue Gelato 41 due to it going hermie, this plant seems to be fine at the moment but will be keeping a close eye on it! Buds getting so heavy it’s leaning to one side, starting to flush tomorrow🌱 Looking forward to finishing off this grow, so many mistakes have been made but still learning. Mistakes will be corrected for the next grow! Little seed on Runtz Muffin, going to chop, clean tent and start from scratch.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Not much to report this week from the garden. All the plants received a top dressing of about 300ml worm castings and 80ml Dr Forest Organic 284 Bloom just before the start of week eight, and will most likely be their last feeding. The plants have stuck to the usual watering schedule of 2.5l every two days. The huge Wedding Cheesecake growing in Coco Coir appears to me to be showing signs of cal/mag deficiency so yesterday I top dressed with Cal/Mag again from Dr Forest Organics. Keeping humidity under 45% has been a battle well and truly lost this week, and has varied wildly and constantly between around 41% and 57% but has been most often found to be around 47%. The battle rages on. I have been defoliating once a week, mainly just removing stuff covering bud sites, and trichome production on all four Bruce Banners has really taken off. After only a fairly light defoliation session, my hands were so sticky they were almost glued together and I rolled all I could remove from my hands into a sausage and smoked it mixed in with my other stuff, but that was only about 1/2 to 2/3rds of what was stuck to my hands, and I have to wash my hands in isopropyl alcohol and soap and fairly liquid 3 times before the best part of it was removed.

2/18: 4 weeks since we planted them. Some of the new nodes since topping are starting to come in. Also finally got to doing some lst. First time, so I didn't rlly know what I was doing all that much, but my main goal was to pull branches outward and have more light reaching all the nodes. I should definitely have topped and done LST earlier, but oh well, now I know for next time. I also removed some of the new fan leaves that were covering the new nodes. My roommate wanted to experiment with the smallest one so removed some of its big fan leaves. I don't really think that was the right call, but whatever we'll see what happens. Would also have loved to try mainlining but its also pretty late for that. It would have slowed down veg quite a bit too, and since we have to go home from college in early may, they have to be harvested by then. Gonna water later this afternoon as well.

At the beginning of this week I switched over to blooming fertilizer and gave both plants about 1/4 gallon, beginning with 12ml/gal mix each type. Made a huge rookie error, and left the lights on for 24 hours beginning on day 58. I was out sick and didn't discover it for a few days. Poor girls, their soil dried a bit and they drooped for a couple days. I switched them back to 12 hours after discovering what had happened on day 62. I also bumped up their nutrient ratio to Heavy feeding (4 teaspoons per gallon) of Tiger Bloom and a little less than General Feeding (4 tablespoons per gallon) of Big Bloom, giving them 1 Qt of water/nutrient mix at lights out time. The next day they bounced right back to life! :-)

Sweet mother of god! What a beautiful plant! Now I finally know what it means to grow US genetics. Sherbinskis in collab with Sensi Seeds has made some uniquely beautiful plant. She's dark, almost black, she's extremely good looking, and frankly I didn't expect the plant to look as good as the advertisement photographs but here she is! As beautiful as it can get! I've pushed my photography skills again and god damn, it was worth it. I don't know if any other plant has been this photogenic! The yield is great, as expected from a extra longer veg period. The smell is off the hooks! Please, have a closer look at all the photographs, there are soooooo many gems that should be able to win dozens of contest IN MY OPINION XD PS: Hopefully I'll grab your attention with these bomb ass macro shots!!!!! Total Week # 12 - Flowering week # 7 We are nearing the end. Flowers are ripening up very nicely and are getting dense. They are turning purple or violet indigo what the fuck ever lol They smell delicious I do not kid 😻!!! I am happy I didn't go with 3 plants in this tent (3ft x 3ft, I think...😵) as many suggested I should have else I would have had to hide them in my bedroom or something. I am feeding them lower on every feeding (dropped right to 600 ppm), will take that out as well towards the end and start watering only. by end of next week, I plan to reap what I sow. As evident, the Northern Lights aka No Fucks Given, is doing its own thing and I cannot ideally dry the Gelato in the same tent but I have figured something out, as time goes, will post pics of weights, drying, cure, trim the whole 9 yards. Once these 2 ladies are finished, I am going to work on a proper grow place with some proper good lights since this is just a test run after all and had a lot to learn and digest in terms of information and experience. The plant realizes there is an overabundance of light and it seems to understand this and develops accordingly. I see a mass monster. Focused on rates of photosynthesis, instead of photomorphogenesis. Added a custom Lakhovsky ring around the base. It is positioned in such a way that it rotates on itself, as in the photo, and an energy field will develop all around. If we have only 1 ring, the opening goes true north and the 2 wires must not touch. With 2 rings of different diameters, I can alternate North / South openings. (4x10" Copper wire wrapped in aluminum sheathing then further coil wrapped with copper)
