Week 7: The SpiderFarmer SF4000 has arrived. It’s hanging at about 28” at 80% and the plants seem to be very happy. The spectrum is significantly “whiter” rather than the purple of my other lights. Heat is definitely manageable. Buds have chunked up over that last week. I did probably the last feeding as I’m coming up to day 56. Clones are rooted and planted for next round and trying to decide what to run for next round. Some strains are looking better than others but overall pretty nice. Happy Growing 🌱

Flush week! 50 gallons of tap water flushed through the roots at the start of this week. She has been on plain tap water(2.5 gallons every 4 days) for the last two waterings.

Well. All growing cycle long watering with ph balanced clear water. We used our own super soil mix. In final results we get 138gr natural, 100% organic nuggets. I started in with the maximum ppm of about 1500 on a fresh reservoir and a ph of 6.1. I also went full strength with beastie blooms 0-50-30 at 1 tablespoon for 6 gallons of water. The white hairs are turning orange now which is the sign of times to BULK UP! My diary seems to be a little off on this 45-55 day flower as today we mark day 37 of 12-12.

81 day - 3 days until harvest.

The situation is getting interesting, flowering is coming in the final part for our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Auto. First of all, we have another plant that is growing straight, you can see it in the photos in the Zamnesia pot that is doing very very well. It is behind in flowering compared to this one because it was planted later but it drinks two liters a day, it has huge sunbathing leaves, and it is starting to flower. The plant worked with the main lining shows a typical characteristic according to my experience of the F1 Hybrid: these plants have a very fast flowering so they start to mature a little earlier in the sense that they put out flowers the red pistils while the flower is still swelling, it happened to me with all of them, I think even with the RQS ones in the past. From the observation of all the F1s I can notice that you can see some red and the flowers do not seem very big but after a while they reach a nice size. This one is in the swelling phase and in these days it is starting to change color from the top. Very beautiful, I hope they swell the buds properly and it will be perfect. The shape is very very beautiful as is the structure of this plant indeed. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. With her We have switched to the late flowering program that wants the additives Sugar Royal, Pure Zym for another week and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds and the myth Green Sensation. My girls are growing wonderfully. Pineapple and Cheese are getting bigger and bigger, and you can start to smell them. Bubblegum has taken its time, but it too is full of resin and will probably be the last of the harvest. I decided to start giving Overdrive to the Skunk to try to add consistency to the flowers, which are still very sparse, and it already seems to be working. This is my first run with Advanced Nutrients and I'm pleasantly surprised!

As of day 14, the Blackberry Kush is still exhibiting it's abnormal leaf growth. I've only ever seen this on another genetically purple strain, so I am curious if there is a connection. If anyone has seen similar issues in their own plants let me know! It's growth hasn't been too bad, and I am sure it's going to continue to take off over the next week! I usually top my plants between day 14 and 21, so i am hoping it is growing vigorously enough to prevent any stunting. I haven't seen any adverse effects from temporarily switching to my plentiful dry cal-mag, so I am happy about that so far! I am still adding a similar EC worth of Cal mag (.5) so it's good to have dialed in a rough equivalent. I hope everyone is staying safe, and happy growing! 👍🌱 Day 15: the leaf growth continues to be very screwy, and even if it's at least partially a genetic issue I continue to triple check all my practices and parameters. The PH drifts up mildly in my reservoirs between cleaning/remixing of nutrients, but it is going from roughly a 5.8 up to a 6.2 (at worst) with no change in the EC/PPM. Between the lack of EC drift and lack of smell, I don't think there are any major bacterial issues. The outflow PH is also acceptable (5.8) and the outflow EC is around .2-.3 above inflow, which is also acceptable. I dug into the coco a little bit, and the medium is not oversaturated with water (it is always a bit "fluffy" with good drainage and never compacted) and the roots are white and healthy. With the healthy vigorous growth of the other Blackberry in the same conditions, it brings me back to this being at least partially a genetic issue. I looked through grow questions of other diaries for similar leaf issues, and it seemed that most were either blueberry or blackberry strains from a range of breeders. This could be purely a coincidence, but it does make me wonder. The grows with similar issues seemed to otherwise have no commonalities in how they were grown. I am going to keep trying my best with this plant regardless, so I hope it pulls through alright! Day 17: being very careful with my PH and keeping it a bit lower, to rule it out as a possible cause of the twisted leaves and less vigorous growth. I am keeping it between 5.5 and 6 for the time being to make sure there is no lock out of micro elements like boron. As per the comments, I am being more accurate be using a pH pen as opposed to drops which I may have misjudges. I topped the plant, which is definitely a risk! But I am hoping for some healthier leaves to come in, and the plant hasn't stunted so far! It has grown the number of nodes it should have for its age, it just not as filled in and lush as I would like it to be. Day 19: I have been monitoring PH especially carefully, taking a few measurements per day and keeping it between 5.6 and 5.8 (a little on the low side). The runoff is consistently under 6 as well. EC and other conditions have stayed where they should be as well. I reduced any PH drift by running the air pump for the res 24/7, instead of just for mixing and before fertigations to rule that out. But I haven't seen any overall improvements for the leaves so I am reverting back to my theory of a genetic issue with this particular plant. It's growing larger and it's stems are thickening, so I'm just going to keep it growing as well as I possibly can and see what it yields!

Overall the plant yielded good dense nugs with strong smell, if your planning on running these seeds make sure you have a good germination rate so you can get at least 1 good pheno with good color on it. This strain was very resistant to deficiencies, large amount of root development and decent lateral growth. I will post nug shots after dry and trim

The end of last week and the beginning of this week we had very good weather (Indian summer) 😊, but the temperatures started to drop at the second half of this week with lots of rain and humidity. 😡 First signs of budrot accured and I had to install 2 ventilators to move the air. 👿👿👿 With small scissors I cut away the entire top that has bud rot 👻 Now that I have harvested the last pepper plants, I have been able to give the cannabis plants more space. This will also hopefully result in a lower humidity level. Temperatures in the greenhouse this week : min temp 11.1°C - max temp 35.9°C Heighest plant (Cookies Gelato) = 155cm Smallest plant (Liberty Haze) = 135cm

We are already 7 weeks old 👏👏and the princesses follow their rhythm💪😄, I have rotated them to grow uniformly😊, daytime temperature 26º night 19º, humidity 45%, regulator of the LED at 100%😎😎 Day 47: Today I added to the nutrients "Big Boom PK 52-34" 😉basically is 52% Phosphorus 34% Potassium 0.3gr / l👍. Temperature of day 26ºC and humidity 45%, at night 19ºC 45% humidity 👌and music that is not lacking🙌😎😜

So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.
