This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didn’t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. It’s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14–15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually it’s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive I’ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, I’ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

Its week 11, Harvest time!! .... or is it? Well, i can tell you - absolutely not. 💩 #3 is well into flower right now, but i dont think she's gonna come down for another 3 weeks. She's def. the furthest along though. I'll be using the thrichoscope end of this week i reckon. #2 and #1 are both just barely getting started in their flower, so they will probably run for another 5 or 6 weeks at least. i've got good hopes for plants 2 and 3, and also feel like the light-intensity experiment is really giving me some solid results. (the one with the least light is #3, whhich even started to flower much sooner than the other two, i feel like there is a link with the scarcity of light energy it receives. anyone here that would confirm or deny such an idea?)

Mites are still a problem ive come to terms with the fact im not going to fully be rid of them so im maintaing them with lady bugs. I will be flipping bery soon watch for the next update!! They are looking beutifull!! Ive decided to take clomes of in house indica as well as cheese. Ive also begun the beginning stages of germination for another @greenpointseeds purple chem seed so be tuned for that. Plants in the main tent are coming along well since correcting the light intensity and run-off ppm, the one on the left is filling out now, so is the one in the middle just much slower. Not sure if I will let that one cook longer or just pull it with the rest... will see how she looks in a week. The plant on the right I spread out to take up almost half of the tent (I didn't want the spindler taking up unnecessary space) - her nugs are real nice - some foxtails and bleaching on the taller ones but for the most part looking good. Plant on the left has filled out a lot more despite its weirder more "wiry" bud structure - does't look as nice as the good plants but definitely better than the spindly plant in the middle. Big Mumma is still killing it - wondering if its getting close to flush time for her as it looks like some of her tricomes are starting to brown...

Week 7 for Kalini Asia by Zamnesia Seeds, Shes at 8 tops still I'm just giving her side branches some growth time before I top her again for 16 tops I'm sure sometimes this week. But atm shes looking beautiful. She finally got her transplant into 25L of fairly good soil mix of biobizz light mix/coco mix + a good feed of @bokashibiochar + a feeding of BioGrow by greenhousefeeding I think a few days of adjusting and she will start to explode.

This is the start of week 4 vegetation. Nearly at 5th nodes which Is where I will top the plants. So far so good.. these babies are all loving life right now. However I had notice a couple 9f there first fan leaves had a few yellowish spots I put this down to possible a little over feed 9n nutrients. Since this,they have sprouted very nicely and all the leaves coming through are vibrant green and looking healthier. Any suggestions as to what the yellowish colour could be? Hopefully nothing serious.

The CalMag definitely helped. No new growth is showing signs of deficiencies. Last night we hit them with a low dose of nutrients and more CalMag and they looked amazing this afternoon! Already seeing some pistols popping on all 4 plants, so I think we have 4 females! Going to up the nutrients next watering.

8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. I WATERED THAT AND THE ONE IN THE TEN AND THE 50 AS IT LOOKED DROOPY. 10 GOT A HALF GALLON AS IT WAS DRYING UP AND ITS GOING TO BE HOT TOMORROW TOO. NOT 90S PROBABLY 80S AT MOST BUT STILL. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I DID A VIDEO TOO BUT ILL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. ALSO CAUGHT THE TINIEST EVER MOUTH LARVAE. I SEE TINY GOLD FINCHES AND OTHER BIRDS DARTING IN MY CAGE AND AWAY WHEN I APPROACH. I THINK THEY ARE GIVING ME A HAND. 8/13 Thought thos was a new week so I took a ton of pictures and did a video. Who knows what will upload. Plants look hetter with the increased room spacing. I have the materials to finish final supports. I've just got to do it. Same with the BT spray. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I BOUGHT A WATERING CAN THAT HOLDS A GALLON AND A HALF AND EMPRIED VERY QUICKLY IN SMALL STREAMS SO IT DOESNT HURT THE ROOTS. GREAT INVESTMENT. COULDNT GET OVER UNTIL 2 AND I GAVE EVERYTHING A GALLON AND A HALF. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE 10 TJAT GOT A GALLON AND THE TWO PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE THAT GOT A GALLON. ONE EVENT HORIZON AND THE TOASTED TOFFY.

06/03/19 - unfortunately this was my own fault for being gullible with a mix of just not thinking, but I got a cal deficiency on my OG which was fitting seeing as everything was going well, but I think I have resolved the problem as I’m not see the new growth being affected but I do think it has slowed down in growth abit but I’m guessing that’s understandable, I’m really happy I’ve turned to mills as I can tell a difference from my previous grows, this slight hiccup was my fault but they were that healthy I’m almost positive it’s gonna spring right back 🤞🏻 09/03/19 - definitely looks like it stopped growing for awhile as the gelatos are a hell of a lot bigger now compare to my OG but I think the problems been solved as their was only a little progression on some of the newer leaves but the newest set of leaves seem unharmed includeding the side branches. 12/03/19 - a lot smaller than the gelatos but never the less I’ve started the LST/leaf braiding with the OG aswell to make sure the side branches catch up as they were stunted from the cal mag def

Entering week 5, Day 29 for the Kush XL in the back that are 18 inches tall, SolarExtreme 250 is 15" above them. The Dragon's Breath in front are at 13" tall with the ES180 hanging 19" above them. They are on a 9am-3am schedule and are fed twice daily @ around 11 am and then again at 11 pm. Have been defoliated daily, training-mainly just gently spreading them out, and today cut a low branch off both the Kush XL in back. One thing I'm doubtful of; is considering the state of their development currently; these are not 50-60 day flowering strains as Pacific Seed Bank specs. Day 31 for the Kush XL, 24 Dragons Breath, I defoliated on day 29 both plants are in stretch at the moment, if they're like most autoflowers I've grown their growth should slow week 6? and then bud development/bulking gets underway in earnest. I've moved the lights around, the solarextreme is now in front, and es180 in the back, both are 15" above the canopy. The Kush XL in the back, older than the Dragons Breath by a week are now 26"-28" tall (36" off the floor when you account for the pot & drainage grate beneath it) Dragon's Breath are 15"-16"
