Watered a gallon between the four of them this week (goal to maintain moisture in the beds.) found mycelium growing on top of the beds today, a great sign for soil health! The runt is still runty; if one of the seeds in the solo cups overtakes her in growth, I will probably cull the runt and replace her. Going to be topping in the next day or two, deciding if I am going to do a full “mainlining” run or just top them. TBD

Bad Weather

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. So this plant was doing great and then about 2 days ago I started to notice issues. Almost looks like leaf rust or a Ph problem but ive tried my best to keep them correct and I'm hopping that like my Ripper badazz plants that they well just grow out of it. Doing a big clean up today in the room so I'm going to keep my eyes open for any pests just incase that's the issue but fingers crossed it isn't. Well that's everything for now. Mango and headband seem to b at least a week ahead of the rest. Skywalker and Mr banger r closin in on bein a foot taller than the next closest strain. The Skywalker is even bout 6 inches taller then the banger. Debating on goin up to a gal and a half instead of just a gal for water and feeding.

Buds aren't as big as the other autos, but she may swell up in the next week or two. That being said she has way more bud than the other ones with all her branches, and she smells so so good. I wish I could Harvest and cure this right now but I'm probably going to have to wait till December to get a fantastic, cured smoke from it. I feel bad that she's been kind of yellow her whole flowering life and she would have appreciated a little bit more food. Definitely a heavy feeder in flower. D81, she's leaning a bit now, the final weight is pulling her to the side. Four days until the official done date and I think she's ready, bit she'll have to wait. The berry will be drying next week, and the blue dream will be the week after. Chop on day 90 or 91 I think.

The final phase has begun now, we are getting close to harvest time. Therefore I have stopped giving nutrients and only give Ph-neutralized water (ph=6,0) to my 'Fruity Terp' ladies. This is the so called FLUSH and is very important. Only well flushed plants don't have any nutrients left in them, and will burn properly and smoke smoothly. A plant that gets nutrients up to the moment she is harvested, will be harsh to smoke and hurt in the throat on the inhale. Since this is my medicine I ALWAYS do flush of 7 to 10 day before I harvest my ladies. All my 12 plants have grown nice buds glistening with trichomes and smell WONDERFUL right now. A STRONG FRUITY AROMA is coming out of the tent every time I open it, its MOUTHWATERING! I can't wait for them to be ready to harvest soon...

It’s the 1st week of flower I flipped the plants to 12/12 a few days ago. There is a lot going on and a lot of cool and amazing things coming in the near future. Hola a todos y perdon por la demora en subir la actualización. Esta semana regamos como la semana pasada 2ml de oro negro de namaste y 3ml x l de amazonia roots, la planta va creciendo bien, esta semana también hemos quitado algunas hojas, próximamente le pondré una malla asi no crece tanto en alto.

Week 8 of Flowering, pistils are turning brown. Will check tricolms next week. Since I am doing hydro, flushing can commence the final week. *finally got my co2 meter to work so boosting co2 to 1000 ppm and increased light output but 20%. The rent increased 30% in humidity and raised 4 degrees F so manageable for sure. Happy growing BM 4TweentY

This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend.
