We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

did some well needed defoliation looking a lot better. Buds are starting to get thick and heavy and covered in trichome. First bit of hairs are starting to turn orange.

Je crois que je vais la flusher 1 semaine avant la récolte au lieu de 2 et donner un peu de nutriments à chaque arrosage pour les dernières semaines avec une plus forte concentration de Bloom. Y Griega and Gelato Ice Cream are approximately 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the plants in flowering. Adding 1 teaspoon of Blackstrap Molasses every watering and fertilizer every other watering.

Approx day 111. All is still good. White powdery mildew not progressing, i see no new spots, so only few leaves taken by it, great escape ! On bud rot side all is quite too, just first two OGs were infected, third growing well and in colours. AKs looks like very resilient strain, till now avoided everything, despite having fattest top colas. Think its last week for smallest AK , remaining OG will be chopped too. Will try to drag biggest two AKs for two more weeks since today. 3 weeks of rain already and predictions shows at least two more ... Happy Growing !!!

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

2 Girls 1 Cup finally made it to the finish line. Wedding Glue trichomes started turning yellow damn near overnight. Godzilla Cookies still covered in milky frost. I don't have scales, so I'd rather not estimate on wet weight. Wedding Glue is hefty though, thicker than I thought she'd be. I have a number in my head what she'll dry out to, but I'll share that later lol. Chopped Godzilla Cookies up, bagged in two gallon zip locks and slapped in the freezer for a rainy day. I have one 1lb Grove Bag, but after looking at it, and the flowers I have hanging... I may need more grove bags so I don't compact the nugs and can keep the headspace needed for the two way whatever the f these bags do. The SMELL is out of this world. Wish I had words for all the aromas smelled while harvesting. From lemon/lime, candy, grapefruit, diesel, etc.. Wedding Glue is going to be some fucking DANK!! The ooey gooey parts of Godzilla Cookies will turn into a nice bubble hash someday in the future. The list of things learned along the way this time round.. : 1- DONT put diff strains in same RES. This means the same pot as well.. many reasons not to. 2- Keep the RES that will hold roots BASIC, and keep the fancy shit in the external RES (if ya got one). Easier maitenance and minimal risk of root damage. 3- Waterfarms are baddass, but the drainage holes from the upper grow chamber are too few and too small. I added many more to it prior to using this time round and roots still wrapped the bottom of it like they did the RES below. 4- check calibration on your meters frequently... 5- have spare ventilation equipment on standby incase something fails. Don't want the smell getting out, top priority.. 6- plan your wiring for easy movement/adjustment when needed. Zip ties are cool and all.. until you have to cut and replace a hundred of em to move a fan from one pole to another. I am so grateful she seems happy starting to get the system balanced I’m running rdwc two five gallon buckets with a 3” flex line connecting the base to base With ball valves to control the water height in grow bucket 320gph sub pump in the Reservoir bucket then to water chiller back to grow bucket large enough dependable oxygen pump for grow and reservoir water oxygenation I also alternate Southern Ag GFF and Hydro guard let’s go!
