Momma Shark II is healthy and growing slowly by design. I’ve got the 400W ballast dimmed to 250W. Lots of clone sites available when needed next. Bowl design seems to work well in these 2 gal pots in a 2x2 space that should be able to accommodate 4 moms if I stay on top of training! The two trainees - 8BK and XXL and doing well with manifold development. I have 20 branches on each plant now. My plan is to transplant very soon before tying any of these down. Then start training them out to the edge of the 2 gal and then upward to create more bowl designs. They’ll be moving to the Mothership to join Momma Shark soon 😎

After drying, the hydro plant's bud smelled a little different. Considering the small amount and the bud rod that was cut away previously, I didn't want to risk anything and threw it away. So the harvest is just about the soil plant. I dried the whole plant except larger fan leaves. As this was an outdoor-ish grew I don't have any specialised equipment. It just had to dry in the room, which averaged 24°C and 60% humidity, probably not ideal. After 10 days it was trimmed and finally weighed. Might still be a little wet though. Final dry weight was 42g, after weighing in wet and untrimmed at 294g.

February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

Defoliated a few leaves but nothing major . The smell is starting to get strong funky and like orange juice (very different smelling from other orange smelling strains ive grown , trichomes are forming and the plant is sticky to touch ! One plant has very few stigmas a trait I've only seen one before after crossing kalimist x super lemon haze . Anyone know why it happens ? I can't find much online regarding it . Anyway I'm into week 5 now see you at the end of it

Welcome to week 5 of flower. Trichome production and the density of the buds is really starting to accelerate. My dehumidifier is not stable, so VPD ranges from 1.2-1.4. I lightly defoliated 31/10 and last watering was 6/11 👽👉7/11 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉8/11 Their smell is starting to get more extreme. 👽👉9/11 I removed a bit of the bottom foliage and cleaned up the dead leaves. It has been really tight around the SCROG net, so it was highly needed for airflow and humidity 👽👉10/11 Waterday* ml/L change from last watering - to this. BioHeaven 4 > 4 BioGrow 4 > 2 BioBloom 3.5 > 4 TopMax 1.5 > 4 Calmag 0.5 > 0 Rootjuice 1 > 0.5 👽👉11/11 Amazing growth in thickness and they look alot more frosty today! 👽👉12/11 Same story as yesterday 👽👉13/11 Today should have been waterday, however i was missing some nutrients so postponed till tomorrow 👇_____________________________________________ Flowering feeding recommendations: Early bloom: 5:7:10 Mid-bloom: 6:10:15 Mid–late bloom: 4:7:10 BioHeaven The NPK ratio is 0.91-0.18-0.24; BioGrow The NPK ratio is 4-3-6. BioBloom The NPK ratio is 2-7-4; Topmax The NPK ratio is 0.1-0.001-0.1; Rootjuice The NPK ratio is 0.1-0.1-0.1; 👆_____________________________________________

This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.

My new grow pros solutions under canopy lights are really making the colors pop Black Cherry Gushers is a strain that's sure to turn heads. The buds are round and dense, like little nuggets of pure fire. And the trichome coverage? Absolutely insane! This plant is a frosty wonderland, begging to be admired. It's a testament to the grower's skill and the plant's incredible genetics.

I need to preface this diary: as I've said many times, I've been a true Hip Hop guy since I was a teenager, and now I have white hair. In my room, I still have a huge Wu Tang Clan poster/street poster from '97, the Enter the Wu Tang era. Those who know rap will understand me better... At a certain point, well into my 40s, my friends at Zamnesia made a deal with Method Man's Tical and created this strain, and I'm growing it. I feel like I'm going crazy with joy. We're talking about a strain with typically American characteristics called Nectar Drip, obtained by hybridizing a Zamnesia Apple Fritter and Tical's 24K Gold Fangs. The result is truly explosive, with an apple-like smell and an enormous amount of resin that makes it perfect for extracting even from residues. The leaves are full of pure resin and smell like heaven. I don't know the Tical plant, but I can feel the Zamnesia one. I'm once again truly embarrassed by its beauty, like when a beautiful girl talks to me and makes me blush. And I have to say, it's not even the best; there are four more epics coming that might surprise us, one of which is a clone of this one. Ripeness - The pistils have looked super ripe for a long time, especially the upper ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. The trichomes are about 30% amber, 40% cloudy/milky, and 30% clear, more or less naturally, but I think it's fine; it looks super ripe. The flowers are all top-quality, and the yield is excellent, I think 80-100 grams. The overall shape of the plant is truly splendid. Main lining works well even without LST training, as I did this time. The plant seems more solid and more evenly distributed than when I mainfold, or repeatedly top, the soil. We chose a 100% organic, 1000% Plagron soil, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and consistent watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week of soil is enough, so don't overdo it. Choose your favorite style and calculate your results on the website: www.plagron.com Visit the new Growshop area on the Zamnesia website: Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/it/531-growshop These seeds are sold out and were a limited edition. I'm very sad not to have saved one, but we can choose from Zamnesia's excellent strains, and keep an eye out for exclusive limited editions like this one when they come out... Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/35-cannabis-seeds T - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/35-cannabis-seeds/745-tical Z - Nectar Drip is a unique cannabis hybrid created in collaboration between Zamnesia Seeds and TICAL. These flowers are pure power, with up to 26% THC and effects that stimulate the mind and stabilize the body. But if you want to try them, you'll have to hurry: only 750 packs are available! There's nothing better than a good collaboration—we know that better than anyone! For this partnership, we joined forces with TICAL to create a strain packed with flavor and potency. We brought our delicious Apple Fritter, while TICAL contributed its 24K Gold Fangs. After fine-tuning the result, Nectar Drip was born. This strain produces potent flowers with up to 26% THC, accompanied by delicious fruity and skunky aromas. Considering one of its parents is Apple Fritter, you can be sure that Nectar Drip has inherited a burst of fruity aromas and flavors. Skunky notes are evident, creating a rich and intriguing profile. Smoking this beauty will leave you feeling relaxed, with a pleasant cerebral euphoria accompanying the experience. It's definitely a great evening smoke, perfect for when you want to take a moment for yourself. You know it, but I recommend it. You'll find so many wonderful things here, essentially "all the best that nature has to offer." 🌸 End of Flowering Week 7 (D43–D49) → Entering Week 8 (D50) | Project WF We’ve officially closed Flowering Week 7 (Day 43 to Day 49) and are now entering Week 8 (Day 50) — the final and most critical stage where real quality and cleanliness are defined. This week was focused on root zone correction, EC reduction and preparing the plants for a clean and controlled finish, without forcing maturity or stressing the crop. 🌡️ Environmental Parameters (Week 7 avg) • Day temperature: 22–23.5 °C • Night temperature: 18–19 °C • Relative Humidity: 48–52 % • VPD: 1.30–1.45 kPa • PPFD: ~830–850 µmol/m²/s • CO₂: Ambient (~550–630 ppm) Stable conditions all week to keep metabolism active while avoiding unnecessary stress during late flowering. 💧 Irrigation & Feeding – Week 7 (Detailed) 📅 25/01 – Day 46 Total volume: 30 L (hand watered, stopping when plants drained) Recipe: • Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra → 15 ml • Bio·Grow → 3 ml • Bio·Bloom → 120 ml • Top·Max → 24 ml • Bio·Heaven → 24 ml • Bud Candy → 36 ml • Atazyme → 30 ml Input values: • EC: ~0.98 mS • pH: 6.2 This irrigation initiated nutrient reduction and confirmed uneven salt accumulation between pots. 📅 29/01 – Day 49 Total volume: 50 L (high-volume strategic irrigation) Recipe: • Bio·Bloom → 200 ml (4 ml/L) • Top·Max → 50 ml (1 ml/L) • Bio·Heaven → 50 ml (1 ml/L) • Bud Candy → 50 ml (1 ml/L) • Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra → 15 ml (0.3 ml/L) • Atazyme → 40 ml (0.8 ml/L) Input values: • EC: ~0.78 mS • pH: 6.2 Drain EC readings (by pot): • Range: 2.1 – 5.6 mS • Confirmed salt accumulation now actively being released. This irrigation was a pre-cleaning step, not a final flush, keeping roots active while opening the substrate. 📊 Week 7 Irrigation Summary • Total water applied: ~80 L • Average: ~11.4 L / 24h (including strategic high-volume irrigation) 🌿 Plant Status – End of Week 7 • Controlled senescence has started naturally. • Strong anthocyanin expression (genetics + environment). • Buds still finishing density, not rushed. • Trichomes shifting from clear → cloudy, amber still minimal. • No signs of acute stress, lockout or stalled metabolism. 🎯 Week 8 Objectives (From Day 50) Week 8 is about precision, not force. • Final nutrient closure initiated. • Progressive root zone cleaning strategy: • Pre-flush irrigation • Single controlled Final Flush • Water-only irrigation • Dry-back before harvest • Maintain stable PPFD and VPD to preserve terpenes and resin quality. • Focus shifts from yield to clean finish, flavor and combustion quality. This is the phase where premium crops are truly defined. More final-stage data, close-ups and detailed content coming soon on Instagram. Open to collaborations and data-driven partnerships with brands focused on precision growing and premium results. 📸 @waffleterps

At the second day of week 2 the first two leaves of each Mimosa look a little crinkled, but the environment is ok and the Peyote in the same tent looks good so i think it is characteristic of this particular strain. At the fourth day of week 2 the plants show signs of explosive growth
