10/27/22 watered with nutrients 10/31/22 Happy Halloween 🎃 been watering about every 2 days.

Beginning of week.. She doesn't have many pistils turning.. Some tho.. This is going to be a long flowering strain.. Not many milky trichomes yet either.. She is very stinky lol.. Hope she is ready for a flushing soon! Mid week.. Still just doin her thing.. Pistils still slowly turning.. Still smells like piss lol till you rub the trichomes.. Then you smell the sweet piney dankness.. Not a bad strain.. Just a long flowering period.. Can't complain lol. I'm ready to start flushing.. But she's not.. Maybe I could just start flushing and flush her for a good 3 or 4.. Or however many weeks it takes till she's ready.. I've flushed a plant for a good 4 or 5 weeks before.. Leaves looked like shit but the bud was still great.. That was the Zkittlez Glue actually since I counted the flowering weeks wrong.. Hmm.. Nah I'm gonna wait another week before I even think about flushing. I am seeing some milky/cloudy trichomes.. Even a very few amber starting.. You can tell they aren't even full on amber cuz of how light they still are.. But i dis find a few beginning to amber.. So yeah.. Maybe 1 more week of nutes, then start flushing. End of week... Still waiting to see some trichomes turning lol.. Pistils are turning for sure.. Trichomes.. Not so much yet.. Seeing some light burn issues on a couple leaves.. But that's not stopping her one bit! She is still a very happy girl! Thickening up a little on top.. Bottom.. Not so much yet either lol.. Still happy with her.. On to the next!!!...

So now I have finally harvested my first hydro plant!! It was a pleasure. My partner and I were busy cutting the plant all Sunday. Everything is ready and it is now hanging! To grow: I'll keep it short. At the beginning I worked according to the individual cann thinning scheme. Halfway through the grow I started working with H2o2 because I couldn't maintain the temperatures in the water to avoid illness. The plant was grown like a photoperiod plant because I also had photos in the tent. The plant also suffered a nutrient burn during the flowering phase. I think I worked with the PK 13/14 too early. I'm happy that I was able to learn so much from the grow.

This plant is getting really big it looks lovely through out about to start feeding a little lighter do when the buds come in the smell is beautiful it’s smells gassy & stinky. Week 5 check out my other grows (Jungle Verde, The New) & follow my IG @therealterpio

* ***************** Week 2 of Growth From Seed, April 18 to 25, 2020 - Days 8 to 14 from germination ********************** * Getting rolling on week 2. She is not growing super fast. Suspect I have gotten a little heavy handed with the nutes again a little early on. Keeping an eye though and haven’t been too far off. Switch CalMag this week and going with GH as it has a 1% value for Nitrogen. Will be increasing the CalMag now as well. Will be getting ppm in the 500 range more this week. May start to introduce Sensyzime at the end of the week. Keep moving the lights up and down trying to dial in between 18” and 30” and see how they react. Seems to be about 28” right now they are happy. Playing with the VPD and finding that they are not as happy with the VPD up around 1.0 and rather happier around 1.4??? Happier meaning tips and looking like she is getting bigger. Played with humidity this weekend as well between 52% and 75%. Again, they seem happiest around 58%..........going to try that for a couple of days and see how they grow for the next few days. I feel they are alrighty slower at the high humidity. Not backing away for this but rather trying to read the girls🤪🤪🤪🤪 *****Daily Detail: Apr 18, Day 8 - VPD - 1.1 - 0.5L feed with Vitathrive and Velokelp and Dual Fuel @ 0.75ml/L, CaMg+ @ 0.75ml/L = 575ppm, 5.8pH. - playing with humidity up and down today. - ready for a plain water feed and a little larger quantity to soak all the medium. - not sure if tomorrow though.......might be a little wet yet in the medium. Apr 19, Day 9 - VPD - 1.3 - 2L watering today with CaMg and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L each. 240ppm with 5.9pH. - Had more runoff, that was the goal. Didn't bother to measure this though. - Just trying to bring the medium pH in line and reduce some of the ppm. - Things just aren't progressing as I think they should. Apr 20, Day 10 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day - lower humidity in tent to 55% Apr 21, Day 11 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day, again. Humidity kept low. - Added home made CO2 to the tent today. - 2.5" tall only. - wavy leaves so think she has battles some pH issues.......some sensitive than the other strains currently?? Apr 22, Day 12 - VPD 1.4 - Dry out day yet again but now raising the humidity back to 65%. - tips back up today. Apr 23, Day 13 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - P & V & Vitathrive @ 1ml/L, DF & CalMag@ 0.5ml/L = 410ppm and 5.9pH - primarily calmag and something for roots. - She has straightened out more today. Apr 24, Day 14 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - Voodoo and Piranha and VeloKelp @ 2ml/L = 180ppm pH'd to 5.6 - tough week.......she battled over watering as a result of some over feeding last week.

Hello everyone, overall the plants are doing well; apart from signs of deficiency on a Fastberry, Zkittlez and the Rhyno Rider. I am noticing spots as well as burns on the upper leaves of the plants.

Update : week 4 for the Amnesia haze has been interesting. Sadly her 5th node snapped clean off during her lst so she is now an official quadline. She has settled into the pot so well now and has done a nice bit of growing the past few days. I am happy with her look and health. She should be a good finish too. The Sweet Afgani Delicious is happier now she is in the NFT tank along with the Red hot cookie. They look so lost compared to the Amnesia in her big pot and a few weeks older. They have perked up and started to show more chlorophyll over the past few days too. I think a week will give me a chance at some lst with the smaller girls. Be safe Growmies

It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. Removing Top Booster avoids nutrient overlap and keeps the focus on a clean, balanced mix. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving.
