This week was a very easy one all that was involved was flushing. Flushing two separate times throughout the week involved tap water which was allowed to sit for 24 hours with air stones. Tap water was used first because the PPM of tap water is higher than RO water. Doing this avoids instant deprivation of food for plants, rather than cold turkeying them. As the last week arrives tap water will be replaced by RO water equating to 400PPM or less and given in abundance until PPM meter reads runoff at about the same 400PPM or less.

Since my last grow i have a problem with powdery mildew... So on veg. i just spray Sulfur and worked fine... (the smell is terrible....) now i am in flower and found the mildew again... i try a new mixture: dry common horsetail 1 onion 1 garlic cook that for around 1 hour. Then i flux it 1:5 with water. The smell is not so bad and just for 2 days. The leaf and flower not change color or smell. Hopefully it works! i will spray that now every week. Update: Flower Day 20 I start with the Top dressing on all Plants. They start to frost. The powdery mildew spreads :'( i dont know what else i can do?! i spray again!

i was thinking about harvesting half and letting the bottom half finish but after chopping some of it i just ended up taking it all down. i knew i wouldnt get a crazy amount of weight from the early mess ups but im guessing it will be about 2 oz when dried. im happy with anything thats smokeable for a first time grower tho and i cant wait to get started on 2 more ladies :D im thinking maybe do the purple punch but this time use a 5 gallon pot so i can see her at her best ! the roots were sure cramped in this 2gallon lol. thanks for reading and following my journey :D

Another week closer..... Well another week down and the girls are growing great...The only problem with this grow is these girls are big, very big, having to move and get creative with the plants so there not directly under the light but also not to far away....Dont get me wrong there under the light its just my ceiling is very low and these plants are almost 5 ft tall, so I needed to pull them back out from directly under them so not to burn or get to hot...Its tough but fun.. Besides that they are growing great and the smell is awesome. The Mimosa shot from Herbiesheadshop seeds is kicking ass on budding out, just filling out like crazy. The other 5 that are Mimosa x Orange Punch are a little behind on the budding size but everyday there catching up, no matter what there going to be nice. Thats it for this week... Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. 26/09 Today, at the beginning of the second week of color, I nevertheless decided to remove a few unnecessary and interfering stakes. well I overfed boom and veg dry amendments waited 2 weeks instead of 4, by accident. I now have a K potassium toxicity which will always express as a magnesium deficiency. The salts side would flush the pot at this point, However, I am organic and instead I am going to give the plant the magnesium it is looking for allowing it to process the K faster. This should resolve the issue without flushing. If you have to flush an organic soil then its pretty much just wasted mix it into fresh mix at least 50/50 and start again. Basically flushing is not an option in organics.

Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

we just finished 2 weeks are are going into the 3 week. These ladies can EAT!! 1,000 ppm’s and no issues..looks like I have to up the ppm’s for bloom phase 4 out of the 5 are doing GREAT. The 5th one is having issues and I know it’s the media I am using. I had a different brand of soil for 1 of the banana MAC’s and it freaking SUCKS!! I am amending with Iron-Tone by Espoma to get the green back and it has some cal-mag also with sulpher ( hits all suspect deficiencies). The other 4 are in Mother Earth soil which I have had zero issues with. I will be sticking with Mother Earth for awhile. 11/6 Potassium deficiency in the banana MAC’s…kinda of a good sign. Let’s me know the plant is going into bloom phase and it’s time to change the ratios from 1:1:1 to 1:3:2. The 1:3:2 is flower girl 1 week and fish bone meal with Langbeinite the other week. I will alternate between the two for 4 weeks. Tuesday ( 11/8) will mark 3 weeks. I did defoliation and lollipoping today. This is the second one I have done ( I do the first one the week before flipping).
