Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

Well, week 9 of flower in the books and she is done as of this posting on 5/19 (day 63). She finished up well and the trichome development has nice mix of milky with a little amber. She's is extremely frosty and gives off a super strong smell of fruity goodness. She'll be cut down today, so stay tuned for the subsequent harvest report and pics. All in all, first time DWC bucket grow went well, in my estimation. It's a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. I learned a lot with respect to monitoring ph, ppm, and ppfd readings, as well as reading my plant for visual cues. I eventually understood I needed daily readings b/c growing hydro conditions can change on a dime, especially for someone new to this growing method. But once I found my stride, the process became easier. Another lesson learned was how much space is needed for vegetative and flower stretch. Beginning of week 3 of flowering and plants are slowing there stretch down. I decided to let them come up into the second screen about a foot above the first screen. Second screen holes are twice as big as the first layer screen and is primarily to support the colas later in flowering. I stripped all the growth below the first screen so the plants won’t waste there energy on these lower beaches with no light under the canopy. I will be removing a few of the larger guard leaves later in the week on the top of the canopy to let light in to the lower shouts ready to come up, but not until after the plants recovers for a day or 2 from the bottom stripping. Smell is starting to ramp up, can really notice it strong when you open the tent now.

Day 85, first day of Week 13. She gives off the most beautiful smell since today, wow, never smelled something like that 😍She is also still foxtailing like a freaky little monster, fading nicely. With her I'm a bit confused as to where I should be looking now, new foxtails trichomes or the older calxy behind the foxtails? Probably a mix. Read somewhere on Reddit, that they apparently pack on proper buds, so the foxtails get fat as well. I guess we will see. Happy days Day 87, checking trichomes everyday, still milky. She got more yellow since the last time I took pictures. Some of the foxtails have developed. Both plants got watered yesterday, with 2ml Flawless Finish. Smell still strong. Could be any day now aaaaaaaaaaaaah happy 😍 Day 88, at her daily trichome check she looked ready all of a sudden. Even on foxtails I see amber trichomes, funny mix actually, amber and clear 😁All over her buds she is a good 20% amber now. I think that should be fine for a Sativa. I chopped her and put her stem in a vase with ph water. A friend once told me a fairytale story, about how this does something good when compared with darkness. We will see, can't remember properly, it won't harm 🙏 She is a pleasant lady and weighs wet with stems 469g, which is more than my other wedding cake (244g). I guess that's great yeay. She is currently sitting in the drying tent together with wedding cake. Happy days Update Day 1 of Darkness in a vase full of water: She initially weighed 469g yesterday when I chopped her and put her in the vase. 16 hours later I had a little look inside the tent and checked the water in the vase, she drank quite a bit, about a quarter the amount. I weighed again and she now weighs 489g, not a big difference but still, I feel slightly sciency 👽Her buds seem sucked in and more dark but also more rich looking, if that makes sense. 8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. 08/30/2008 Day 1 week 4 Seedling leaves turning pale, started nutrients today Advanced Nutrients Grow,Micro,Bloom at .25% quarter strength 💪 of recommendation. I will ease her into the nutes. First res. Change today also. Ps. I noticed under day light she has burgundy coloured stems,like her mom but we will see if adding nutes changes this... I believe it's genetic ! 😎 Also changed lights to 16-8 and red spectrum turned to 50%, prepare her for the flip!..... 09/05/2018 Noticed i noticed in the last pic a little fert burn 🔥 but that's why I increase it slow 🐌 but got decent amount of growth so onto 1/2strength for next reservoir change in week 5 .😎

So the story continues... this grow is really an experiment for me to train one plant within my 4'x2' grow space to ScrOG vertically and use the SP250 light on its side. For the majority of the vegetative stage the light will be hung normally above the plant until a week prior to flipping the light schedule and initiating flowering. The plant passed its seedling stage and has been vigorously growing albeit showing strong signs of over-watering and calcium deficiencies. It's really a transpiration issue which I have not solved yet. Increased distance to light as the plant may be growing too fast for its root mass. From feedback at Coco for Cannabis (CFC), it is a Cal deficiency and a young plant getting used to the grow in coco - quite common and not a sign of over-watering. Measuring run-off EC at each fertigation event as I increase the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is now maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. Another solid week of this lady just vegging along. MegaCrop is fueling her growth and she's really guzzling down the water, nearly 16 oz every 18 hrs. If there was a mini hydro category in this grow off I'd decimate all 🤣... Stay tuned I'd say we'll be seeing pistils within a few days, then the fun begins!!
