-- day 29 -- Started week 5 off with watering the plants. The nutrients from the soil are probably used by now so I'm adding a first small dose of Alga Grow. -- day 30 -- Its been 10 days since I changed the lights to 12/12. Switched the lights to full capacity with the bloom mode on. -- day 31 -- I'm already seeing the first signs of flowering today. Noticed first signs of light burn so raised the lights to 55 cm above canopy. -- day 32 -- Watered the plants with 2 ml/l alga grow + 2 ml/l bloom. -- day 34 -- I think I've been too cautious with nutrients. Plants are relatively light green colored. Not sure if I mentioned this before but I chose to schedule my lights so that they turn on at 22:00 and off at 10:00 in the morning. I did this because the room warms up with lights on and keeps the temperature up at night without any heating on to save energy. Only disadvantage; I can only look at my plants in the morning and late evening ;)

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Just couldn't resist to give a go 😁🤤 Week 0 Germination Jan 25-Feb 1 Germination in propagator. beans landed directly in substrate within 5 min after opening the package. Started believing that all methods like glass water, paper towel etc. are really useful if seeds are old, stored incorrectly or coming from shady seedbank. If seeds are from trusted source with strong genetics wouldn't be bother trying anything else than planting your beans directly to substrate. So far 100% success This time both baby girls started showing their heads within 2 days after planting seeds. Jan 25 Seeds planted. Propagator at 20 degrees and 90% humidity. Jan 27 Girls popped through the soil. Warm welcome to Kitana and Aphrodite 😍 Jan 28-30 Both babies growing at the same pace. Jan 31 Time to move from this baby size propagator to a better and more comfortable place. Feb 1 End of germination week. All went painlessly and successfully. I am super excited for whats to come 😁 Hopefully this will be another easy and successful ride. Ehi ragazzi come va? All inizio quando hanno cambiato grow diaries ero dubbioso, ma ora che si possono caricare tutte le foto assieme è tutta un altra storia! Allora cosa posso dire, la ragazza questa settimana si è sviluppato in modo impressionante, si vede che il nuovo prodotto di plagron sta facendo effetto! Addirittura le cime hanno più fiori delle altre sorelle fertilizzante con Advanced, i fiori sono davvero tanti e molto densi, penso che dovrò defogliare un po per scongiurare il rischio di muffe, ma per il resto tutto procede secondo i piani, la pianta è bella grande di un bel colore verde intenso e senza carenze per ora.. Grazie plagron e spero di aggiudicarmi un buon posto nella sfida, anche se c'è gente molto più capace di me! Allora buon 420 e alla prossima settimana! Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

Stripped up the bottoms and and will flip to 12/12 tomorrow. Monster plant which has filled almost a 5x5 area and has been a real pain to keep healthy

11/29 - Day 57 - Start of week 9. Fed the plants today with cal mag, base nutrient trio (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. The plants appear to be very happy and healthy. Flowers are developing nicely on Blanche and Pinky, but Bleu is still showing only a few pistils at the bud sites. I'm wondering whether I should adjust the light schedule from 18/6 to 16/8, 14/10, or even 12/12. Will reassess at the end of this week. 12/02 - Day 60 - Fed nutes ppm=700 PH=6.5 w/ recharge and molasses. 12/05 - Day 63 - Fed nutes ppm=825 PH=6.5. Pinky and Blanche are starting to fatten up. Bleu looks as though she's just starting to kick into another gear, but will probably finish at least 2 weeks after the other two. Excited to see the eventual yield considering she will get the entire tent to herself during the final few weeks, is significantly larger than the other two plants, and is drinking/eating more.

7/11 It's pouring. We got like 2 in of rain. I compared the flowering with that of the mendo breath I grew in a previous journal and they are real close. Tjat was DONE DONE in September. Judging by the small preflowers they are going to be ready approximately around the same time. I think I'm going to have a middle September harvest with some and some will go to October. Realistically, I should've changed this to flower. I like to call it "the stretch" though. Plants are stretching like a mother fucker. Seems like the less I fuck with them the better they do! No nutes yet. I'm going on vacation for a week and I think I won't feed before I leave either. Plants don't look like they are lacking in anything. Just because I have tons of nutes doesn't mean I need to use them. Still need to put up the secondary supports for flower. Went over after a break in the rain. Went through each plant one by one. Most had leaves that were either turning yellow or yellow at the bottom interior. I only removed leaves that were dead or dieing. I should probably have degoliated more but I'm doing the KISS method this year. Things seem to be doing good that way. Some minor pests. I found a slug but put out slug bait for those and earwigs. Noticed a few white flies and multi color flies (probably fungus knats but they are up at the top, not down by the soil. I'm going to think about it and do some research. Damage is so MINIMAL and pests are MINIMAL that im holding off spraying. I mat start nutes tomorrow though. I'm uncertain on a lot of things. I need to meditate on it. Just because those interior leaves died the plants are still a LUSH dark green so I think they're alright. It's going really good but I'm going to be on vacation for a week. I can still monitor daily with my camera's and my family that is watching them will FaceTime me every morning and show me what's going on. They know what they're doing and if something arises I have BASICALLY a growers union in my town. All family. We look after each other. That's the only reason I considered even going. However, the event horizons, sherb pie, toasted toffy and AT LEAST 1 GMO "LOOK" like they will be flowering early. Like I said they look similar to a mendo breath pheno on another diary that finished in September. We shall see. I'm excited that's for sure! 7/12 So far no rain! Super hot and muggy. Killed a jpn beetle and a moth larvae this morning and another beetle this afternoon. I'm seeing SOME pest damage which makes me want to spray before some of these plants take off flowering. There isn't much damage and tje birds sit on the top just WAITING for a chance to swoop in and grab something. I've seen tons of wasps tjis year. I killed a snail yesterday and put out slug bait around my pallets. I'm leaving early tomorrow. I'm CONSIDERING doing an application of Cap'n Jack's before I leave. I'm not sure. I made little DIY videos for dad and I hope he follows them. If not I'll have another grower come help. With all the rain I noticed some white flies when I shook a couple plants. I don't have time to really deal with it right now. There were only a few and I think spinosad would kill those too. Either way it will be fine. I can monitor via camera. I can even hit an alarm that goes to four different people. Still. I don't like leaving my girls. Especially in this heat. 7/13 Left early for a short vacation. Just got a picture saying it's sunny there and my plants are doing good. I'm lucky to havecthe crew that I do. I'm sure if I asked they'd put up yellow sticky traps. That's something I may consider. 7/14 Dad said it Rained last night and driving down here it was just PURE SHEET RAIN. He sent me pics I uploaded and everything looks GREAT! gonna get sun after all that rain and wind. They are gonna explode! 7/15 Still on Vacation. Dad showed me the plants and said they looked a little dry so I had him use the 4 GALLONS OF WATER I HAD PREMIXED FOR HIM TO WATER THE GARDEN. This way each plant gets a half gallon. It's supposed to be in the 90's with no rain tonight. Rains euppised to come tomorrow but I've seen how fast a bag can dry out in ONE day with super hot weather and high winds. The wind blows through the bag drying the medium out. Dad's right. Things do look amazing. I'm having fun but it will be nice to get back and see if I was right and those few plants are trying to flower. Looks just like those two mendo phenomes that flowered early. 7/16 still on vacation. Got a nice rain for the plants. Not much though. 7/17 Had DAD WATER FOUR GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. ANOTHER HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT. I really miss my girls. I'm ready to get going and start doing the things that need to be done. Few more days and I'll be home with my pretty ladies. Last time I came back to nice little flowers. They looked about in the same stage when I left. I love early finishers. They're stretching thsts for sure.

Week 6 of flower: Things are looking up. The Red hot Cookies and the Lemon orange are ripening up. The mimosa x orange punch is starting at beef up a bit. 5.8-6.0 pH 440-380ppm 68-65F water temp 72 F tent temp 45% RH

Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less. 5/1/24 Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period 5/3 2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows through🌱💚

Day N°68... 🌿 End of the 10th week of growth for my two Feminized Shogun from Royal Queen Seeds.. 👑 The plants are beautiful, I still let them vegetate until their height suits me. Ten weeks of growth is not normal, but I'm not letting go. 🍼... Nutrients...🍼 When repotting my plants, I put 40 grams of Easy Boost Organic Nutrients from RQS Organic Nutrients. At each watering I give them Calgreen from Metrop.. 🔦...Light...🔦 #MarsHydro Tsw 2000 at 50% power and 70 cm from the canopy. 🐜...Pest...🐜 Tech Fort treatment looks good walking.. 👍 That's all for now my friends.
