Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Auto Candy is a tall lady and has good node spacing so there is space for air flow. When I went outside this afternoon, the sun was hitting the main stalk, and she was shimmering. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are more spread out than the other outside gals with minimal sugar leaves. So far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

Easy week just coasting on RO and flawless finish, watching these girls live out their last days. Went 24 hours before harvest without water, made for nice easy deleafing. Hanging in the dry tent at 58-60% RH for the next 7-14 days with a fan indirectly moving air. Once I got the plants out of the pots to check out the roots could see right away they were having issues. Usually can pick up the whole soil block with the remaining stem, but two of three ripped out of the soil when I tried. The airdomes which are normally packed with nice healthy roots had mostly slimy dark roots. Not looking great at all, still thinking it was my shocking then with wrong nutes that did it. Have never seen such unhealthy roots, surprised they finished! Have a few more seed will have to run her again down the road.
