Day 22: Hi all , hope we are all well. The Gluberry male has been banished now and wont be making another sneak attack ever again !. The remaining Glueberry ( #2) is now able to have her 1st gym session ( no social distancing or masks needed!). She has been bent over from her 4th node( no sniggering at the back !) so that her 5th(main) takes a horizontal path to the pots edges. The other growth below should form up similar to a quadline . Inwill allow it to go vertical when the flowering begins which should create 5 mains to develop into long chunky colas. Being an attempt to find my own best use of autos in this environment I use , is proving to be fun so far. Inhave other strains ( in my diaries here) that are being trained using this and other methods to again , see 1st hand what works for me. The Mimosa Lemon is doing really well too. she had her 1st session a few days ago and is responding perfectly so far. Both of these ladies are looking really healthy and green so far . I have not done a total soak of the medium yet and have been watering just outside of the plants leaf footprint. This is to encourage the rootball to set itself up for the flowering cycle and an important foundation for their overall possible yield. It was time to open the pot again and have look at what's going on. Did the Living consume all the leaves yet or is there a nice mold coming through? My youngest didn't like the taste of that particular banana so we tossed it in the pot as well. 3L of dechlorinated tapwater, with no feed and no microbes. PH Min to 6.3 ---------------------------------------- June 29 The medium was so dry, I had to water the pot first before any digging could take place. I was seriously concerned for the Army, having to withstand these temperatures. To my surprise, I actually found a couple still! Unfortunately the banana was all but untouched. That wasn't cool, digging it up and it not being infested with Worms. I'm holding my breath for next week. After check thc with a microscope it appears that most are cloudy already meaning that harvest is near ! Want to take them out with 5 to 10% amber thats where i find it to work the best for me.

Exactly a week ago these five Sour Diesels were planted. The sixth plant you see in the pictures is a CousKush Auto that is being nursed for 2 weeks to then be taken care of by family. They germinated quickly, after less than 72 hours most cotyledons were fully open and the roots grew through the root cubes. At this point they were transplanted into 0.12L seedling bags filled with pre-buffered coco and perlite (saturated with PH'd RO water). They will stay in those to develop a good root structure for around a week before moving to 1L pots. They reacted decently to the transplant although the cotyledons curled down on some of the seedlings. I attribute that to the coco being too moist when they were transplanted. I waited to give them more water until day 5 to dry the coco out a bit. Day 5 is when I first watered them, using a 0.3 EC nutrient solution. They all get 8-10 ml every 24 hours now and seem to be doing great.

He tenido unos problemas esta semana. Una de las plantas no tiene orden jajaja. Al parecer sus ramas no están muy fuertes y se caen. Acá es donde me arrepiento de no haber usado scrog. Otras dos plantas están presentando un poco de amarillo en las puntas de las hojas y una que otra un poco quemado justo en la punta color amarilla. Por lo demás las veo bien, se hicieron un poco más gordas, pero no lo suficiente o lo que quisiera. Necesito incorporar co2 y scrog en el próximo cultivo. Espero resolver mis problemas y mejorarlas para la otra semana. Buenos humos

Things are looking good, started with some lst with my hands at first now I've secured them with ties. The gelato looks like it finally want to start its growth due to whatever stress it was going through. Happy with how things are picking up

The final week! These Auto's are BEASTS!! No more nutrients just leaching with tap water Ph between 6 - 6.1 the taps ppm is 200 so I will eventually get an R/O system. Really packing on some weight!! Had to tie branches to other branches to hold them up. Did a final defoliation a little late in the week normally I would do it at the start of the last week.

Ne Obliviscaris. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

01/24/25. Start week 8 veg I messed around with these a lot the past week. I could see they had plenty of branching and bud sites but most of them were hiding. I used some lst clips to move things around and get more exposed. They were watered yesterday with calmag and next watering will be with a feeding. Theyre drinking about a gallon every 3 days each currently. They’ve exploded with branching now. They like to keep hiding under the big ol leaves though. They’ll be getting flipped soon. Would have already done it but one of the friends had been a straggler and trying to get her right. That about covers it. Update: forgot to add the pictures of lst. They’re at the end now.
