had some left over fish shit tea brew from the veg run, so I gave it to the flowering girls right now, due to the brewing there are only low levels of N and lots of microbes. Worry about the microbes and the plants will uptake what they need, this philosophy seems to be working very well.

Last 2 weeks before I put her in a 3 day dark period! I’m no longer giving any nutrients and I’m letting the plant deplete all the nutrients in the soil, I’m also only using water for now own. I have her in a 11.5 hour light schedule. There’s slight nutrient burning too on some parts but it’s nothing drastic.

So I'm into week 8, day 57 and the plants are not looking too great. THe buds are nice, but I'm not sure if all the leaf issues are just because near end, or heat, or no nutes. etc.

Sooooo impressed with the size & quality of the buds😳 Super dense & sticky✂️ The smell is sweet fruity mix berries🤤🍓

The plant can finally enter the ideal environment, it has adapted very well. It remains strong and vigorous.

This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Anyways, they finished amazing, sticky, stinky and heavy ❤️ the Terps are crazy on these strains….Harvest details to come. Thanks for stopping by 💚🇨🇦👊

After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

This week the girls have stretched for the last time then the fun will really begin with the buds blowing up. Alaskan purple has the frosty sugar leafs which tells me she will be more potent at this point of the grow cycle. Both of the girls are in good health but Alaskan purple has 2 leafs that look like nutes burn from the feeding last week of the ff nutes, so only distilled water this week to kinda flush her then back to nutes feeding, which will be perfect timing for buds to start coming in. Overall it's rained a lot where I live which has made humidity a problem so I got another dehumidifier for my room to help with that problem other than that this grow is on track for a nice harvest.

This plant was quite bushy and I had to get rid of a lot of lower growth, leaves and mini shoots, gave it a pretty aggressive stripping and half ass lollipoping. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. Hello Diary, White Widow has reached the end of the 5th week of flowering, a total of 8 weeks since the start of the vegetation. As you can see from the photos, harvest is coming soon. I would say one more week and she will be ready. What's interesting is that this White Widow phenotype is a bit of a purple one. The flowers are starting to take on purple tones. The flowers are not as big compared to her roommates but they are rock hard and sticky under your fingers. This week I started checking the appearance of the trichomes and most of them are still transparent. All in all White Widow has pleasantly surprised me and brought a smile to my face when I look at her. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering is still every two or three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. Here's what the previous week looked like. 13/09/2024 - Day 51. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 16/09/2024 - Day 54. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 18/09/2024 - Day 56. It's the end of the 8th week, taking pictures of the plants. That's all from me for this week, see you soon.
