Dropped the little Sunset Sherbet Go Fast seed today in some water. 7:00am, it begins!...my days start early lol 10-22 - Cracking open in that water today, but nothing really to report 10-23 - Tail is out! Planted into a puck this morning with a bit of myco. 10-24 - She is up and tall today! - Got her pot ready for planting tomorrow. Went ahead and pre wet the coco with a light feed mix of 1.75ml/gal cal mag, 1.75ml/gal Coco A, and 1.75ml Coco B. Ppm 270 with a ph of 5.8. Will feed this same feed for the next week or so also after planting. Using 3 gal fabric pot, straight coco. ** Yep....It's my turn! Sure, my husband thinks he is growing the 'perfect' Sunset Sherbet right now....but I promise, mine WILL be better! 😁 LOL Two completely different grows though! He's in coco/peat/, I'm in straight coco. He's using Plagrons organic Alga, I'm using Plagrons Coco A&B. He's more 'dialed in', I'm more 'ehhh it is what it is '. He likes to monitor his cats, I let mine do whatever they want. So, he may not know it yet...but the competition has already began!

Still chugging along

This plant is Definitely a weird one growing one fingered leaves. Light penetration is perfect so I didn't have to train. Unfortunately 3 weeks of her life she grew under the older plants, and didn't get much if any light exposure. The buds would have been phenomenal had I got 3 more weeks out of her

Plants seemed close to finish so i defoliated on day 52. The plants went through shock. I will not be doing this again Attempting Generative steering, i dropped humidity and allow the pots to dry out more. Watering every 2 days by hand

Start of week 3 is going very well. Plants look super healthy and have responded well the some LST. Watering every other day and feeding with FoxFarm Big Bloom twice a week.

WEEK 12 - She is getting fat and frosty and she have crazy amount of leaves, so far Im happy how she is growing and cant wait to smoke her up

Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

My first time making alcohol tintcure Using the c1 , Hold on tight gonna be a trip

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Been a minute growmies but I’m back with some updates. This week I realized I was going to have to get a new tent ASAP. Was really trying not to have to but it is inevitable. She is huge now! Even tried throughout this week and next to do some tie down with string to fabric pots. Sorry for wait…. I know she was sad towards the end of the week 😞. 8/31: Started new batch of nutes. Did a massive defoliation today as well! A lot more light through the canopy now. Cut dying bottom branches. 9/1: Did a lot of defoliation today. Even removed some of the lower branches not getting sufficient amount of light.
