Week 3 into flower and it’s time to top dress and seabird tea. Using 3 gallon potstop dress with 1/3 cup craft, 1/4 cup worm castings, 1/2 ocean forest, and small amount of kashi. Seabird tea: 4tbs seabird guano, recharge, and worm castings, Humic acid, and alfalfa meal in the tea bag. pH to around 6.6-6.8. Should give me around a 2.5-12.5-2.5 feed. As I used equal parts alfalfa to seabird. Probably a little more nitrogen with the worm castings. Brewed for 24 hours and fed straight, no water down. Just bought the mammoth lighting 6 bar LED, I got suckered into the green spectrum and the ability to penetrate the canopy using green light. Science backs it but science also backed Covid vaccines soooo I guess I’ll have to test it out myself. 😂 But so far enjoying my first grow back after a year off. Took a while to remember everything and dial everything back in. Only took me going to the dispensary for a year to remember it’s just way better to grow and press my own rosin instead of paying 50 for brown boo-boo or flower i can’t even smell before buying it. As a young lad I was in charge of a 30 light/ 600 plant grow house. This famous rap producer had a pool house in his back yard he turned into a grow house. I ended up being very successful there using their recipe and styles, Rockwell cubes 20-25 plants a light of some SFV og and synthetic nutients and eagle 20 for daysss. Was at about 2lbs a light. Eventually I moved on and this guys house was raided as he was sending drugs back east to gangs and money laundering. Major wake up call, as California finally started cracking down on all the growers stealing electricity. Never thought I’d be growing weed but when your best friends brother has a grow house and it’s trim season, all hands on deck so I got introduced to it then and because my attention to detail and passion to science they gave me a shot opporating a 600 plant facility. Also showed me the dark side of the business with pesticides and mold… and all the “growers” that have no sanitation techniques and wonder why they have to use eagle 20 and avid all run… if you have trust issues don’t go into the underground cannabis grows of the early 2010s. People be trying to sell powder mildew as frosty nugs. But fast forward a bunch of years I move to Washington and the cannibus industry is all sealed jars with labels. No smell test, no scales, no free dabs… it felt like gambling every time I gave them money for weed. Looks fire taste like dirt or looks fire taste fire cost 60 an eighth…. Not substainable for a daily stoner, so I got my first 2.7x2.7 grow tent and some soil and 100s of hours of YouTube videos to figure out how to grow roots and not plants. Growing in rockwool cubes is all about recipes and pH. Growing in soil is all about microorganisms, oxygen, and relationship building.

05/04 - defoliated some and removed a dozen or so sucker branches. Upped nutrients to manufacturer's recommendation, plants don't seem to show nutrient burns yet - PPM was near 1400. Overall not much stretching, could have let veg another week without much problem I think. 05/10 added a small dehumidifier (vivosun - 1.3L tank.. it's small). That bubblegum is really growing nicely. With training ( no training on this at all - only topped once) it would have been a beast. Didn't clone it either - because I'm smart like that.😂 Added 2ml/L of AN's B-52 on day 20. Just happened to be feeding nutes and would have been adding that in week 4 of flower - as per AN feeding charts. Real nice trichome production on all plants. They all currently smell kind of piney - but the Bubblegum is sweeter, the Pink berry is more of a tart-ish citrus/grapefruit-y. The northern lights was just very vaguely piney. not much smell.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. A few of the zed blacks hermed..spreading pollen into the flower tent. Already seeing some seeds develop. It is what it is. I should have done a better job checking on them. I kept the Zed blacks that only had a couple flowers on the bottom but tossed anything that had flowers growing up the majority of the plant. Some of the most famous strains in the world were self pollinated so I don't have issues with a couple male flowers. They're just trying to improve their fitness as nature intended. The plants are doing very well. A few of the bottom leaves are dying which is normal...senecense! Sucking up those nutrients. I've been liquid feeding using the fish, seaweed, humate and recharge. I have saved the males and they are trying to reveg. Still popping out a few flowers which I'm cutting off. 1 rainbow belt. 1 zed black. 3 hash plants The hash plants are smelling incredible. Definitely a few keepers mixed in here. Maybe 3/7. Hopefully the quality of the flower backs it up. Zed blacks have 2/3 I'm interested in. One is very very low yield. Unless its a really high quality plant I'm gonna toss it Rainbow belts are both smelling ridiculous. Super frosty. Good yield. One is slightly more frosted than the other. The zkittles pheno has pure Skittles smell with a little lemon cleaner chem to back it up. Probably my keeper!

Added a second 100w LED. Everything looking healthy since catching up on nutes. Back right (red) is starting to get frosty, definitely approaching harvest with that guy. Front right (white) will be next and front left (blue) seems to be finishing it's stretch. Really hoping once I pull and chop red plant early, ol yellow In the back left will erupt with it's new found space. I definitely failed Scrogging, just too many branches and bud sites for me to keep up with. Defoliated like crazy after a feeding this week.

Didn’t get too many pictures this time but they’re really starting to pack on resin now. They smell so good. Everything is going smoothly. Just gave them a flush with some SLF and Herculean Harvest. Runoff is already pretty significantly low. They’ll be getting the same flush again in a few days and then plain PH balanced water until they get chopped down. Planning on them fading super hard from this point on. All the buds are super dense. Can’t wait to try some sooner than later.

Hoping that this week will not be a tennis match with my PH and my nutrient solution. Last week I saw my solution drop a full point in a matter of hours - consistently. I also ditched the PH up/down dosers crutch two grows ago, and I am not missing it as the intel is far better without them. IMO PH dosers do not give you real-time feeding feel from your plant - yet they adjust your PH to the "Perfect" level. Less is more in this craft, and in more ways than not. There is a balance between technology, automation, efficiency and most importantly - humans. If we removed the human element out of a grow, the product will be inferior, right? - trichome check showed mostly cloudy, with a few random amber if one looks hard enough. She’s ripening nice and reservoir running fairly normal for late flower. Wonder if that zero water filters-gone-bad caused my major PH crashes. Fed her KookBloom dry only this week and now in a 2 day flush. Should be about 10% amber.

Divine indica is growing great. She has about a week of bulking left. She has some nice fat colas developing. She has a light nitrogen deficiency going on. I am okay with that and did add more when I topped her solution off. She has been very hungry and thirsty. Everything is going really well. I have the light on at around 70 percent durle to avoiding it getting too hot or intense on colas. Trying to anyway. Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.
