The girls are really starting to fruit up, they have been on 10 scoops of flower food per week and this past week we added one scoop of flower finisher to the mix. Their feeding has been split into two days so as not to flood the plants with nutrients and burn the leaves. This means they still get their 10 scoops but in 5 scoop intervals. Watering has been every 2 days because of the 12/12 light schedule the soil doesn't dry out as quickly. The buds are getting massive on the White Widow plant, they are getting to be too heavy for the branches so I have begun to support the lower branches by tying them up to the main stem. I am using a plant wire so that as the plant moves and grows it isn't constricted. You can see the green supports in the newest pictures I uploaded. I also began thinning out the fan leaves so that all of the plants energy can be focused on the bud growth regions. I began removing the larger fan leaves that were blocking light to the bud regions. You can see how the plants are less bushy now. This should provide some low stress to the plants and boost bud production. Continued to thin out the fan leaves today. Made a lot of progress, now all of the bud sites should be receiving light. We also began a new fertilizer. I added a flower finisher into the mix with the Build A Bloom 2-10-5 flower food. Starting with just a 2 scoops mixed into the other flower food from pride lands. Cut down the pride lands scoops to 3 per serving to balance out with the new 2 scoops of flower food. This will keep me at 1 scoop per gallon of media per plant per week.

pre-flowering they still seem very loaded with nutrients in fact one has burnt tips so I am watering abundantly with only demineralized water when they drain they start to feed them. I removed all the supports, we wait for the flowers 😂

Week 7 Flower - Notice that the tops of some of the Tops are pretty hard. Think they got a bit cooked by the LED... Hifi 4G & Blueberry Pics are missing from this week...I thought I had taken some footage, but seems that I got distracted. Work has been nuts so not surprising that I gapped on that. Hifi 4G is needed more support. Looks like a blue ribbon chaos around it. Blueberry looks fantastic.

Well time for the chop, I'm not waiting any longer! 10 weeks on a "fast" "ruderelis" cross my a@$! None the less she smells amazing, thick strawberry old school hash at the moment. The back couple of phenos could have done another week easy!! Trimmers at the ready boys and girls, results coming soon!!!

●Well unfortunately the ballast blew on my light so I'm harvesting 6 days or so sooner than I had wanted. Will be giving a 6 or 7 day hang dry. I will post weights and flavors once dried and cured. As of now Big Bud has a strong bubblegum aroma. I'm very excited to give her a taste!

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Really getting dank down here, it’s barely kept in check with my 4” in-line fan through charcoal filter. Plants never made it to over 12”, but they’re flowering beautifully and are suuuper frosty and fragrant. I don’t think I’ll have much in the way of quantity my first grow, but maybe I’ll make up for it with QUALITY. Lol

Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Purple Punch sprouted. As you can see in the photos, the plants look beautiful, the flowers are large and hard, full of trichomes. I believe the yield will be better than I had hoped. The smell is very intense. I would also say that Purple Punch is quite resistant, along with them, as you know on "Farm", there is also one plant Watermelon Auto that has suffered a lot due to over-feeding, which cannot be said for Purple Punch. The treatment they receive is the same. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water.
