Big Fat Wedding Cake is bulking strong right now. She has a nice frosty layer on her, and is maturing in smell as she goes. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights. The solution got really low and strong causing her to have a bit of burn. She is heading to a finish in about 3 weeks. Welcome to week 4! The plants are really growing along now so we will be looking to transplant as soon as possible into their final homes ( 5 gallon ) I will be topping the plants this week to get some of that branching going and we will be looking to start the flowering process sooner then later. Im aiming for 2 weeks more of veg then flower time if things are in order. Huge shout out to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass equipment! Day#23 Pictures N/A Transplanted plants into their 5 gallon homes except for 2 went into 7s and 2 stayed in their same buckets. Watered 1/2L each at 550PPM Day#24 Plants are digging their new homes , we took some video action. Its getting hard to fit all the plants in 1 frame haha. Day#25 Pictures N/A Plants are just growing along , going to top in the near future. Day#26 Watered ladies 1L each from the bottom at 550PPM. Going to be bottom feeding from here to see if it makes a difference. Day#27 Topped the plants let the branching begin! Day#28 Ladies look unhappy but thats them adjusting for their new nodes! Recap: Things are pushing strong this week we topped the plants and they are growing like nothings happened. I dont know that Im a fan of bottom feeding the plants but well see how things develop in the near future, I may have to practice the technique until im comfy with it as I would normally top feed.

Everything seems to be coming along nicely feed them some great white today, steady growth after topping and no sign of flower so all good.

Harvested Ganja Farmer Seeds / Mandarine XL Auto today, and put 263 grams of wet plant matter into the tent today, I tend to yield about 20% of that in the drying process, so we are looking at about 52 grams of finished weight flower, I am very pleased with the quality of what I harvested today, I would like to grow this again to see if I can push it further, the buds are thick and very hard, extremely resinous, the terpene profile is Sweet, Sour, Mandarin, Citrus fruits, I am looking forward to the smoke report!

420Fastbuds-Week 6 What up, fam. Weekly update on the Photoperiod Femenized strains. GorillaMelon,RainbowMelon, LemonManderian,LemonPaya,PapayaSherbet, and some FastFlowering GG4/Sherbet. For just putting them outdoors 3 weeks ago, they've adjusted to the heat like a dream mid 90's and tripled in size. To think there's probably 4 more weeks of veg. These are going to get big. I might have to raise up the greenhouse or make it a convertible. I'm still just feeding well water, probably 2 liters, each straight from the hose daily. All in all Happy Growing.

So week 8 has gone by like the others nice and easy although I cant help but think that she is well behind where she should be, on the packet it says 11 weeks to harvest but I cant see her packing on enough bud in 3 weeks to be ready for the chop... im in no rush to chop her down but cant help feel a bit anxious that I have gone wrong somewhere... **** Tue 17 Dec **** 5 weeks from seeding My efforts to keep humidity up seem to be paying off Also bought a small humidifier - will see how well it works I've released all the LST restraints - they have a bit of room to stretch now Annoyed now as I've run out of plug sockets (1 light, 1 inline fan, 2 clip fans, 1 heating mat, 1 humidifier, 1 radiator) Better not need anything else... **** Thu 19 Dec **** Humidifier was installed on Tuesday - they love it at 40-45% - that really was the problem These plants do not like 20% humidity. Also I chucked in a 14W blurple LED which I got for free - every little helps The bigger "red" plant has a few leaves which were burned on the radiator in the small tent - think I'll nip these off The "black" plant on the right is now recovering and really going for it See video **** Sat 21 Dec **** All going remarkably well **** Sun 22 Dec **** Here we are 40 days from seeding, and there isn't much for me to do The humidifier uses about 3 liters every day, so needs refilling once or twice (it takes 2.2L) They are now easily drinking a liter of water each a day - the pots are dry and light when ready for more I'm giving them a small dose of 7-7-7 every other feed - it doesn't seem to be causing problems The fan & filter are sucking in plenty of fresh air and there's no smell at all (if I were to switch it off there would soon be a mighty stink!) So far lots of flowery pistils but no "sugariness" - I'm sure this will come when ready The "Red" plant has always been more vigorous - this one is a bit more spread out horizontally and I've trimmed away leaves that were in the way. While growing faster, a lot more lower leaves have turned yellow on this one so I've trimmed these off. The "Black" plant was always a bit behind, and it did not like low humidity at all (at one point I thought it was done for) But since I got the humidity up this plant has really got its act together - in fact now it's probably heavier than Red. This one has had virtually no LST and I've only trimmed a very few lower leaves. At this point I'm thinking the best thing to do in this box (70 x 70 cm) would be to grow 4 of the same in 11L pots Would really fill the space very quickly Anyway lets see how this first grow works out **** Tue 24 Dec **** Red on the left is starting to build a bud structure And on top of the main cola there are signs of stickiness and some tiny trichomes Must sort out a better camera as my phone is rubbish Black on the right has taken off - she's taller than Red now She may be slower but I think there'll be a bigger yield off this one If I leave the tent door open for a few minutes I can smell them from 10 feet away. Without the filter I would have a problem That's the end of week 6 Compare the start and end of this week and there's been a fair bit of growth going on

End of the last of veg. And still no major change in growth or maturity. They’re just stalled it seems. Side branching is terrible, internodal spacing is massive and they seem primed to stretch another 5’ with limited colas. Flipped to flower as of today because I’m simply not waiting any longer just for more stretch. Is what it is and we’ll see what they do in flower. ***grow notes: minimal change from prior weeks. Still no deficiencies.

We are coming close to harvest! I’m going to start flushing her starting today for about 4-5 days (possibly less depending on how fast she takes up plain water). Then chop her down beginning of next week! 12/28/20, she came down today! Trimmed up the fan leaves and hung her to dry. Will update with a harvest post once she finishes drying and I get ready to jar her!!! Stay tuned folks! She smells like sweet strawberries. Let’s hope I can keep those terps during the dry and cure!!!

Week 7 day 63

The ladies weren't very thirst this week. They got 1 gallon of nutrients each on Sun., 12/29, Wed., 1/1, and Sat., 1/4. Minimal fan leaf clearing throughout the week. Since the stretch is definitely over, on Wed., I lowered the light to 25 inches from the top of the Kush. It's coming down to the final 2-3 weeks. Time to start getting excited ...I'm also trying to decide if I am going to try and dry them in my basement so I can start on my next grow sooner. Decisions decisions. hahaha Enjoy the videos.
