Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages. Since i stop spray neem oil and wood vinegar on plants some pests showing up But i counter them physically I don’t want to spray anything on the buds My balcony is my heaven now I spend all my time with my girls i don’t go for weekends because i have to water them everyday in the 4:30 am! I hope i get my rewards!:))

28th august She's getting fat! Doing well

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Blackberry Moon Rocks are growing like crazy! Most of the leaves are a nice, deep green, but I noticed a few on one plant were a little yellow. I did some research and it sounds like they need some extra nutrients, so I'll be adding those in on the next watering. I can't wait to see how much bigger and bushier these beauties get.

This is one incredibly frosty auto! In fact it’s probably the frostiest auto I’ve ever grown. Her smell reminds me of sweet tropical fruit, just like you would expect from a Runtz strain. She’s almost done! I plan to harvest in the next week.

Day 53 has broken for the ladies, and I am very pleased with their progress. The buds are visibly getting stronger every day. A few brown leaf tips appeared, but at this stage I don’t care much for them. Overall, they still look very much alive. Day 57: Uppermost leaves are curling up. Could be they are saturated with light and I should reduce the lighting period a bit, could be that the water drop installment provided them with a bit too much water, although they don’t show any more fresh signs of over-watering or fertilisation. But I had to remove water that flooded the bottom of the tank … I’ll reduce their lighting period to 14 hours. Rest of the ladies looks very healthy so I don’t want to stress them too much. It would be better to raise the left light a bit but I cannot. So, although the label says they would grow taller, I can be glad they did not gain more height. Day 58: Buds are really getting massive, and they started to smell a bit more. They even gained 1 cm and tallest bud is now at 89. It’s a very sweet but deep odour, really enjoyable. Lady #2, while being a bit smaller, looks like being in winter. Sugar leaves are enormous on her. I added a detail photo from timelapse video showing some of the curled and slightly burnt leaves. They are not many, and damage does not seem to progress. Anyway, ladies are already late in the game and I am rather surprised they still look very healthy.

Huge week in the tent. Lollipopping. Defoliation. Redid the LST ties. Added height to the plants to level the canopy. Added the blumats self watering setup. The tent got a total makeover. They look healthy otherwise.

Englisch Week 3 is coming to an end and the ladies are growing magnificently. The only real outlier is Gelato #4, I don't know whether it was too stressed because of the repotting or why it isn't growing as fast as the others. When fertilizing, I continue to follow the feeding chart and Athena's hand watering strategy. The plants are accepting the very high dose of fertilizer wonderfully, which is somewhat to my astonishment, as I am not used to running these high EC levels from the start. Now that my Par Meter has finally arrived, I can keep a better eye on the light levels, which are currently at 500u/mol. Deutsch Woche 3 neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Ladies wachsen prächtig. Den einzigen richtigen Ausreißer macht die Gelato #4, ich weiß nicht ob sie wegen des Umtopfens zu viel Stress hatte, oder woran es liegt, dass sie nicht so schnell wie die anderen 4 wächst. Beim Düngen halte ich mich weiterhin an das feeding chart und die hand watering strategy von Athena. Die Pflanzen nehmen die doch sehr hohe Dosis Dünger wunderbar an, was etwas zu meinem Erstaunen ist, da ich es nicht gewohnt bin diese hohen EC Werte von Anfang an zu fahren. Da nun endlich mein Par Meter angekommen ist, habe ich die Lichtwerte auch etwas besser im Blick, womit wir aktuell bei 500u/mol liege.

5/28 I think she's about to go off. 6/2 she's been droopy leafed for a bit. I backed off on nutrients for over a week. I thought it may have been overwatering but at the same time I don't want to kill off the microbe life in my soil right now by letting it get overly dry. I'm more experienced with coco and the dry back is more aggressive and intense and with soil it's a little different and slower but it als9 cant dry back as

Pheeew... another intense training week is gone, and as I was thinking the past week the baby is a girl and started flowering already at around day 25, which I pretty early but considering all the stress of the 3 transplant and the massive LST it's acceptable. After reporting her in the final 20 Lt pot, no stress was encountered although and she start stretching pretty fast as plants do on preflowering. I introduced blooming nuts as soon as I saw pistols and everything now I'd going pretty smoothly. I'll give her the last 10 days of heavy LST and then I'll leave her doing her things. For now it's all, stay tuned, stay high!
