Hello Diary. The second week of vegetation and Hulkberries is progressing wonderfully. 👌 You have grown 20 cm and the plants look happy and healthy. The temperature is slightly higher in the middle of the day when the outside temperature is also high. Sometimes it reaches 28 degrees 😎, but luckily summer is not in full swing so temperatures are acceptable. In my case, the outside temperature also affects the temperature in the box since I don’t use air conditioning for cooling. The box is located in a smaller room without windows, the temperature is not too high. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, and it varies between 55-65%. 💪 Unlike their Green Gelato roommate, Hulkberries stretch more in height than in width. The distance between the branches is much longer than with Green Gelato. Starting this week, I started adding Fish-Mix from BioBizz. So this week they will get Fish-Mix, Acti-Vera and Bio-Heaven, 2ml / lit each. Let's take a look at the activities this week: 28/06/2020. Day 10. Watering. 04.05 They are doing well after the defoliating 05.05 I decided to remove some smaller branches to give the main stems more potential to grow, we have per plant around 4 - 6 main stems, there would be a possibility to do more but since I need to be ready in time I am fine what I have here in form of stems. Beside that I really saw the first time a difference between the pots with airdome and the one without. The one without needs later water, I watered every pot with airdome again with 1500ml and will do the other pot later this day. 08.05 After a talk with a friend and some information I found through the www, I decided to lollipop way earlier and way more restrictive then I would usually do. 09.05 Watered with 1500ml 11.05 I finally installed the autopot system and measured the water in the tank. Hesi is reducing the PH level and am not sure if it is really healthy for plants potted in soil to have such a low PH.

Another week of decent weather including the hottest day on record for July in the U.K. It was not last as we have had several shitty showery days but this will hopefully clear to the glorious blue skies we have been having. No problems to report this week but I'm sure the fecking slugs will show there slimy heads at some point so I'll be on guard for the buggers. 😂

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and looks like her stretching has just about stopped and hopefully now she’ll really start packing on the flowers. She’s getting fairly dry already so she’ll get another round of plain water tomorrow then the feeding after that, she’ll get some nutes. She’s got a couple of burnt tips from the nutes but not many so I’ll continue at the dosage I’m using. Day 52 - Didn’t get the chance to update yesterday but she got two gallons of water and nutes. I’m seeing a few leaves starting to lighten up a bit so thinking she’s gonna need higher doses of nutes so next feeding I’ll up the dosage. Other than that, just trying to keep everything tucked nicely in the tent and the flowers are really starting to stack up nicely. Day 54 - Overall she’s looking good and really starting to pack on the flowers. I am a little worried because she’s got a little yellowing going on with some of the upper to middle leaves but not too bad. Hoping I fixed the issue with a nutrient feeding the other day cause pH and everything are all good, right in mid to upper 6’s. Just gonna keep an eye on her and make sure it doesn’t get worse. As long as she’s packing on flower, she should be ok. Day 55 - All still looking good and not noticing any new leaves yellowing so hoping I caught the deficiency early enough. Other than that, flowers are really filling in nicely. She’s got another day or two before she needs some water.

FLOWER WEEK 1 ⭐️Nutrients Used⭐️ Front Row AG Si .5g per gallon Front Row AG Part A 3.3g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.2g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG Bloom 2.6g per gallon Front Row AG CleanUp .3g per gallon This has been a great week. Some of the basics are coming together. Lights have been gradually raised by 5-10% every day except the last 2 days. By the end of week 2 flower they will be 100% and will stay there until last week of flower. Temp is 80 degrees, humidity is 60% and will also stay that way until the last 10 days of flower. I will go another week of tucking branches under the net to try and let the last plant reach the net. It’s just not stretching like the others. I need at least a week of stretch with vertical growth, so my smallest plant needs to catch up. There has to be 300+ tops in this 4x12 area. Every single node was topped 7-10 days before flower. Each branch has multiple nodes now. Between day 14-25 everything under the net will be removed. Clones were taken of every plant for a hopeful keeper pheno. Gonna try the whole “mother plant full clone run” for the next grow. By the end of week 2 parameters will be 1500ppm co2 1200-1500 ppfd 80 degrees 60% humidity Thanks for all the support and see you next week.

Thanks to the folks on here for the tips on HST to deal with the vigorous growth and the plant tops getting too close to the light! Watched a couple of YT vidz that explained it well and the HST I did to bend the stems away from the light so i could use the SCROG net worked well and the bendy stems firmed back up in no time. Very subtle smell so far, the leaves I'm pruning from the base of the plant smell great when ripped apart between the fingers. I might stick to Autos for subsequent grows as I just don't have the tent space to deal with tall Photo-period plants. Watering/Feeding about twice a week, growing really well and really strong plants.

The phenotypes are now very distinct, the small plant's leaves go directly from green to dark plum colour they do not go yellow at all. Unlike the early orange bud. It almost looks like it has a blue light on it.

MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Follow along as we're getting to the good part and I'll update again this week once the tipping sets in 💪 MID-WEEK UPDATE: Random Heat/Humidity wave in Southern Ontario so I'm keeping a close eye on the buds after dark periods. Keeping air moving well so far so hopefully I can avoid mold/mildew in last few weeks. Twins are looking good. Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business.
