Hello Growmies, As we enter week 18 of our journey with the Northern Lights by Zamnesia, the anticipation and excitement are at their peak. Let's delve into the latest developments from my garden. Our Northern Lights plant is displaying phenomenal growth. The buds are swelling and ripening beautifully, showcasing the success of our careful cultivation. Their density and frosty appearance are truly remarkable, indicating a high-quality yield on the horizon. This week marked the last phase of her receiving nutrients. I've meticulously managed the nutrient levels to support her through this critical growth stage, ensuring she received everything needed for optimal development. In the coming week, I'll be introducing Canna Flush to help remove any residual nutrients, preparing the plant for a pure and clean final product. Following this, she will be on a week of straight reverse osmosis (RO) water. This flushing process is crucial to ensure the final product is of the highest quality, with a smooth taste and pure aroma. Looking back at the journey so far, it's astounding to see how our plant has transformed, especially considering the initial challenges. Her resilience and our adaptive care have truly paid off. This plant at week 4 was little bit stunned because she is getting all the cold and is stressed out,the fan hits directly into the plant.I was feeding all the plants same amounts of nutrients but this one didn’t handle it well so I flush her one time and at week 5 she got a lot taller and stronger 💪

Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.

Added another late flowering video for your viewing pleasure. The tent is nice an colorful now, with several plants now showing purpling and yellowing. The first one in the front zoomed in on is Gelato auto and is actually looking frostier than Frostbanger auto. The one on the very right is Pink Rozay auto which will probably be the last to harvest based on still having a lot of loose white pistols. I keep checking the trichomes of Frostbanger since it'll probably be next to harvest based on the most mature trichomes. They're probably 80-85% milky/cloudy but I want them to be at least 90-95% before harvesting. Since today is already the end of week 12, I'm not waiting for amber trichomes to chop, and ideally not past weeks 13 or 14 which would increase risk of herming, potency loss, and/or light stress as I've seen from auto grows in the past.

I need to get my l.s.t. done. Plan to this weekend. Have been alternating waterings between regular water and water with 2.5ml of fox farm grow big. Have watered all times with 200ml of water and the solution water mix. Been keeping the humidity at about 45% temp around 68. Can tell a huge difference in sizes of the plants and their container sizes. Will be going with at least 3gal pots next grow. Still using a 25w light as well. Will be upgrading that asap. 11/8 Week 12 Situation is changing FF11s advanced to front to await incoming instructions, followed by FFT9s and FFT10s in the rear. 11s getting close moved to front and they will be on own feed now to finish up. Plants in order of harvest 11 first then 9 then 10. Eval tomorrow before feed 11/9 New Feeds FF10/FF9 will get above listed FF11 gets 10ml/gal Peak PK in PHed water twice a day to 20% runoff till she within 3 days of chop, water only then. FF11 trics white but some amber appearing still needs some time to fill those heads completely, 10% amber is limit, Still learning how to use the peak just about got it now 11/11 nothing visually has change all growing well. FF11s on a decreasing nuet schedule, down to only 5ml Peak at 6.0ph 2 gal/day 20% runoff About a week remains on the 11s 11/12 All doing well FF10 and FF9 Building bud like crazy as well as the FF11 though less so. Puppy Love is appropriately named, I'm loving this gal. She grew like a turkey leg, I will top her next time %100. Day 79 she went in the tent for 48 hours of darkness, chopped day 81. I ultimately produced 34 grams of dried and cured dank, citrus, diesel goodness. The buds stacked hard and fast, the trim was easy. Easily the most dense flower I have grown so far. Extremely sticky, great nose, and bag appeal. Smells first of a different fuel, diesel gas. After the grind more floral and citrus notes are present. The smoke isn't as harsh as SYC, the citrus seemed to cut the gas significantly. The high has a pronounced productivity positivity vibe, has me feeling like a puppy. This week was very stressful for the ladies. The temps went high and they all suffered.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

~50g wet Dexter ~450g wet Dee Dee. Regarding their stressfull life, I am more than satisfied with the harvest. There were some gnats, heat burn, wind burn, light burn, and so on. Probably some lack of N. Intensive smell, very nice head buds. Pressed 10g dry popcorn buds (low temperature). ~1g creamy, nice smelling rosin. ~100g big fat buds Sadly, the stretch was way too much for my limited height so everything went wrong; but as all Zkittlez stuff until now it made it through. First time a headbud was literally burnt by the light. 😅 Overall, a real nice Zkittlez with much potential.😊 “I suppose this counts as a success.” — Mandark

First Signs of Bloom! 🌸🚀 We’re now entering Week 5 since sprout, and my Auto Moon Rock by Divine Seeds has officially started her bloom journey! You can clearly see the first pistils emerging alongside vivid, toxic-green new growth. She’s staying compact but clearly packing power—this one has serious promise. Earlier in the run, I applied some gentle LST following a topping—yes, despite Divine Seeds’ recommendation not to top autoflowers like this one. But I trusted my instinct and the plant’s vigor—and she hasn’t disappointed! 💪 She handled the stress like a champ and bounced back with balanced, bushy growth and strong branching. 🌿 This week’s routine included: 🔸 BioBizz Grow – 2 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz CalMag – 0.5 ml/L 🔸 BioBizz Bloom – 2 ml/L (new!) 🔸 BioBizz TopMax – 1 ml/L (new!) 🔸 Homebrewed Compost Tea for microbial support 🔸 Effective Microorganisms for root vitality 🔸 Dechlorinated tap water 🔸 pH: 6.4 🔸 EC: 1300 µS/cm I also introduced a DIY CO₂ system (sugar, water, dry yeast)—and it’s bubbling away perfectly! I’m expecting even better growth now, especially as bloom ramps up. Once my CO₂ monitor arrives, I’ll start reporting ppm levels directly. 🌬️📈 📽️ Also up this week: a fresh Growlapse video! Always satisfying to see how much change a few days can bring when you fast-forward. She’s reacting well to every bit of training, nutrients, and environment. I have to say—Divine Seeds has bred a real gem here. Even though I went against the grain with topping, this cultivar showed resilience, structure, and strength. So far, I can highly recommend her to any grower who enjoys working closely with their plants. Let’s see how she stretches in the coming days. I’m expecting great things! 🍃✨

********* Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from seed popping) She is taking shape more this week by getting taller colas and thinning out between nodes.......oh yeah, and fattening of buds😜😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have bowl while doing it😂 Her nodes are getting taller and giving herself room for packing on weighty buds👍 If left to one cola should be a fatty!!! But then I would be freaking about potential bud-rot....so I am cool with it. Since LST though it will be interesting to see how well she fills in six😳 She has the makings of being a good producer......its up to the grower to now to keep her happy😬 and see if she packs on the weight with roughly three more full weeks to go?? Missed opportunities in CalMag showing.😰 Left a lot of leaves and two branches that should have removed. Potassium excess contributed to by grower learning Terpinator and Massive.😰 Main stem should have been a little lower......further opportunity to improve👍💪 Got a little crazy with the PPM and felt I knew more than the nutrient company and went above the recommended max by roughly 30%😰😎😭 Yeah.......dummy! My defence.....1300 isn’t too high for Advanced Nutrients in late flower😃😃 Anyway, I screwed up and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She seemed to react well and nodes standing up and didn’t show much outwardly as signs of overwatering😬 Reviewing some of the photos this week I have seen the first small parts of a few hairs drying and turning colour.......no full hairs and not on every bud but enough to say they are first ones.......three more weeks?? Curious.....time will tell.....seen Jan 26, day 49. (49 + 21 = 70.......makes sense.) Feed will stop next week.....by end of my week 8. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush to see her in the beauty of senescence and how she matures. Run-off has been reasonable so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites looking taller. Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 950ppm and 5.6pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 3L feed in PM. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. ******this was likely the mistake feed looking back********left the ppm too high and should have added in RO water to bring down around 1000ppm! At least it seems traceable and will go with that😀 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - 2L feed: Massive @ 2ml, DF & LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 925ppm 6.2pH - Nute burn on Green Poison but Zkittlez seems fine and she is fine. Maybe a slight lightening on a few tips.... - happy and praying in the evening. Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 4L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 900ppm & 6.05pH....happy with that. - she is 28” x 28” now - Her cola growth was strong, taller for each of the 6 She is in fattening mode….feed her 😀 Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - So no surprise when you push a girl you find her limit. Tips burnt this morning.😥😔 - 6L plain RO water pH to 6.2 - Followed right away with 2L RO water with Sensyzime @ 2ml/L. - Runoff: 465ppm. - She responded very well to this and all tips were up still in the evening.....no over watering signs. - Removed about 15 fan leaves and 4 lower bud sites. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. - not falling to sleep an hour before lights out anymore either😀 Happy growing fellow enthusiasts and thanks for the time to read🙏🙏 (scrolling back through diary to update........damn.......that is a lot of bottles during these weeks!!
