Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Total Days: 63 Flower Nights: 20 Some consistent development across the canopy. The last Zoap (back-left corner) is the slowest of the bunch but not more than 3-5 days behind the most developed plant. This bodes well as far as not having too large of a harvest window from fastest to slowest development. Trichome development is visible on a few of the plants. This is usually a good sign when you can see them before end of 3rd week, but doesn't necessarily mean any of the others are lacking. Still plenty of time and I expect them all to have a nice dense coating by the end. Garlic Storm^2 is stretching like crazy, as expected. The first zoap pictured is also a lanky girl but a couple inches shorter than GS^2. The rest of theh canopy is roughly the same stature. Going to allow those 2 plants to remain closer unless I see some damage to pistils. The 2nd to last Zoap has some awesome node spacing and warranted a couple extra pictures. I pruned off lower, weak axilla on FD14 - 1 day after last update. Feeling good about my choices as well as timing. Should result in an easier trim and maintain grams per square foot production. I never tried to refine this in a systematic way, but I am putting in the effort the last two grow cycles to remedy that. Some plants retained a bit more lower growth just so I can compare the results and make better choices in future grows. Mostly done training the plants. Colas are well-spaced. Wih another week of strong growth coming and then tailing off, the remaining gaps in canopy should fill completely. Effectively reduced necessary pruning and wasted growth/resources/time with good timing flipping to flower phase. A couple plants could be spread out slightly more. I'll tug those branches outward from center with some garden wire this week. Nitrogen ppm reduced to 99 - a little under 25% drop in total from vege formula. There was an intermediary step down on last reservoir refill, too. While some concentration levels shifted a bit, most stayed consistent to what was provided in vegetative phase, unlike nitrogen levels. Rounded to nearest integer: N 99 P 67 K171 Ca 91 Mg 76 S 101 So far avoiding the extra lushness that often creeps in mid-to-late flower in my typical grow cycle. Will know more about these adjustment over the next 2-3 weeks. It's been a slow work in progress the last few cycles. Splitting hairs at this point in regard to formula adjustments, but slightly healthier plants can't hurt, right? Phosphorous levels are higher than I prefer, but it is a necessary evil to maintain Ca levels, that I prefer were more than 10% higher as is. The canopy is finally providing enough moisture on its own. Dehumidifier is now turned on and avoiding RH levels greater than 65%. The hygrometer on this dehum is off by 10% or more. As the data rolls in, i'll get it fine-tuned to a roughly 60% average based on expected temperatures. Really enjoying this run. Despite the hiccup with the humidifier wick, all the minor adjustments to improve future grows are working out well and will be incorporated going forward. So at the start of week 3 I began to LST CM#3 to just experiment basically and topped CM#2 I believe. Again, just to experiment. This is my first grow and I was stunned with the reactions to both! The new growth after topping was about 1/4” in about 12hrs.. Crazy to me and the lst is proving to expose these bud sites and encourage amazing growth QUICK!! I’ll continue to train daily. One of the videos show the topped CM just yesterday. In 4 days, it’s grown soo much! Also, a video mentions the gender reveal but since then, all 4 have officially revealed themselves as female at the 22 day mark.

this week was great, the V1 arrived through a lot of logistical nightmares. its the final test before mass production- i will post another dairy for it but please have a look at the pics above. ive created a stylish subtle, modern way to grow 4 plants. this will be great for all levels and will save big on energy and nutrition. you just have to prune, it can even draw water into itself. anbd its 4 plants!!! stick here and youll see it in action. ive decided to change the order in tents. now we have super strong Purple berry Kush with the returned and super strong sweet seeds Sweet cherry pie. so one tent is the strong, and the other tent is now perma auto flower, which serves for additional veg for girls who fall behind their grow peers. hope that makes sense. i think my net is pretty useless other than a visual to plan nodes. i guess the real support will come from placing more plastic rods around the colas and fastening them. hope Christmas was kind to everyone. this oncoming week will be the last week of veg i think for tent two and we flip to flower. thanks for looking.

Woche 16 Sie wachsen beide weiter drauf los, sie haben sich gut erholt und mal sehen, wann die fertig werden 😊 Die Lampe läuft aktuell auf 75% was 120 Watt entspricht. Sie kriegen alle 12 Stunden ca 500ml Wasser. Ich habe mir Hesilicio von Hesi bestellt. Ich wollte eigentlich umsteigen auf Mineralisch aber ich habe festgestellt, dass ich noch voll viel von dem Biobizz habe. Wäre doch schade drum, den einfach stehen zu lassen. Deswegen werde ich den wohl noch aufbrauchen und dann umsteigen auf Hesi. Ich habe schon alles hier und dachte mir, ich mache schon mal bisschen Hesilicio von Hesi rein und SuperVit von RQS. Die werden auch bei den neuen Ladys dann mit dran kommen. Ich habe aktuell Zeit mich um die Ladys zu kümmern und muss noch bisschen was nachholen. 😄

Esta semana una pequeña defoliación superior, solo dos hojas por planta y me decidí tarde en hacer poda de bajos , como quedaron los brotes bajos a la misma altura puede que coloque malla scrog como tutor para ayudar a soportar el peso de los futuros cogollos.

D22. First day of the fourth week, one week away from the automatic flower switch. Strong grow, 28cm high and more than 30cm spread, they made 10cm stretch the last three days since last watering on day 19, today the leafs were pointing down and the digital tensiometer was measuring 71mbar in the bottom of the pots. Today I watered again, this time instead of the usual 500ml each I went closer to 5% of the pots giving em 1L each pH to 6.0 and kept EC in 0.9 from base of 0.4 cal-mag, used biobizz grow, hygrozyme 1ml/L and bactohemp, lowered pH with phosphoric acid. I'll start to LST anytime but today I just cut off everything in the first floor to clear the base since it's already in complete shadow. Next step will be to guide them in order to achieve a flat canopy. The lazy plant is getting stronger everyday but leaf color is diferent than their sisters being same strain, will see how she end up next weeks 💪 D25. At three days from fifth week and official flower switch they keep growing strong like 35 to 40cm high and 35 to 40cm spread but after some leaf anomalies and after watering yesterday I saw something weird in the yellow sticky traps, they were full of black pigment and after check em under microscope they seem to be thrip infestation that I gonna treat with foliar phyretrine and neem oil on the soil but meanwhile I put four more sticky traps. On yesterday watering I made leaf juice mixed with cal-mag, fertilizer, bactohemp and hygrozyme, the reaction when aerating the mix was huge! I got the lazy plant higher to be able to receive similar DLI as her sisters but it still keep growing lazier than the others. I hope the fertilizers arrive in time before flower switch!

Giorno 70 (10 di fioritura) Alcuni problemi con una Pink Gasoline ma per il resto le piante stanno bene e la situazione è quasi definitiva. Mi piacciono davvero tutte quante. Le Pink e le Barbara'Pie sono piante da scrog mentre le Rainbow crescono delle belle cimozze compatte 🌈 Ci vediamo settimana prossima sperando di vedere qualche pistillo 😀🖐️💪

I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.

They have reached approx 96cm (38"), recovered well from the defoliation, didn't appear to cause any stress. Started a timelapse with a cam i put into the tent to monitor growth, will be interesting to see the flowering period as they grow over the next few weeks, i will post that movie, all going well, on the final week before harvest. This week I slightly increased nutrient strength by .25ml as flowering progresses. The 8 Ltr feed pH was a little low at 5.5pH used some Silica + pH-UP to increase it to 6pH. The led light is at it maximum height in the tent now, so i'm hoping, as anticipated, that the four Bubblelicious Auto's will slow down their stretch and settle into just developing flowers and bud. The smell is certainly that of what is described in other reviews and grows, in the mid eveining it released sweet aromas of Bubblegum, comparable to Bubblelicious gum, it really is a nice aroma, definitely my favourite so far. Used my slow juicer on the defoliated leaves and put them into a Bubblelicious CBD Green Juice, the bag of cut ganja leaf supplied 3 x 50ml shots of CBD cannabis juice extract that was utilised over 3 days. . 🌱 Tag 49 – Stretch abgeschlossen, Blütenstruktur im Aufbau Seit dem letzten Update ist wieder eine Woche vergangen. Der Stretch ist bei uns abgeschlossen und der Fokus verschiebt sich klar in Richtung Blüte. Zwei Triebe hängen aktuell nur noch etwa 10 cm unter der LED, da wir in der Streckphase besonders stark an Höhe gewonnen haben. Der Abstand zur Lampe ist dadurch sehr gering, aber noch im kontrollierbaren Bereich. Die übrigen Pflanzen wachsen weiter ruhiger und gleichmäßig. Wir sind insgesamt drei Pflanzen, entwickeln uns trotz identischer Bedingungen jedoch unterschiedlich schnell: Eine von uns ist deutlich weiter, während die anderen beiden noch etwas hinterherhinken. Wir merken, dass unser Wachstum sich verändert. Es geht nicht mehr nur darum, länger zu werden, sondern um den Aufbau der Blütenstruktur. 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Auch in dieser Woche verlief alles sehr ruhig. Ich habe den Abstand zur Lampe leicht vergrößert, weil zwei unserer Haupttriebe jetzt sehr nahe an der LED stehen. Ansonsten wurde am Setup nichts verändert, da Temperatur und Luftfeuchte stabil bleiben und unsere Pflanzen weiterhin gesund wirken.
