Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

Flower Week 7 Day 49 to 55 - 5/6 to 5/12 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

Esta es la última semana de crecimiento que le doy a las pequeñas, el último día antes de hacer el cambio de horas de luz le hago una pequeña poda de bajos ya que eso le dará más aire a la zona baja y más fuerza a la parte superior de nuestras plantas. En esta semana terminamos con una Ec de 1.6 y un ph de 5.8. Están creciendo muy rápido y con fuerza en los tallos. Los tamaños de las pequeñas son: las red hot cookies 24 y 34 cm, las tropicanas 27 y 37 cm y la purple puch og 24 cm.

06/03/2021 Week 10 and pistils are turning brownish in color as new growth is still coming starting to get some serious smell now, I put her outside for a little fresh air and light drizley rainy afternoon will be brought back in doors to dry her leaves, and back under Iights to finish her day. Maybe trim some leaves? Hmmm. Ps. Put up 3 pics of day #5 week #10 of flower, she may go to week 12 but we will see.

All plants are ready to come down now will be harvested in the next couple of days. As it ends in the tent there’s one Banana one 10th and the skunk Hero in joint position for best looking flowers, I really couldn’t pick between them so I guess all have lots to offer across phenotypes and it really is mostly good. The other banana and -0th are by no means bad oh they’re really nice too. The Genetics surely do pass the test for me. If you want to be sure what you grow will be of decent quality Ethos really are worth a try. Harvest this month will be bountiful, beautiful, aromatic and will fuck you up😉😂 all three had phenos that grew really nice dense flowers, the ones that’ll light up your eyes as you open up your stash pot.

Pics taken right before chop, currently hanging for the next 8-12 days and then a cure for a good few weeks. Pictures speak for themselves, I had high temps, supercropped the help out of them and yet are still the nicest looking bud I have ever grown since I started in 2003. Can’t wait to test how they smoke. I have two phenos but off to buy some more to do a more in depth pheno hunt.

They’re looking extremely healthy..gave em their first nute feed with the last watering seem to be doing fairly well..fimmed the GG and LST. Did not touch the unkown as it looks smaller to be the same age. Running GHE base line with few extra supplements. ****UPDATE**** Both are LST’d..might rethink the way I tie them. Going for a “coil” type look, we’ll see though. They’re looking great! Hoping for females!
