Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. I've been pulling fan leaves this week . 1. To slow the top down . 2. To encourage side branch growth. 3. So they can remain in very small pots in a small space until I have space to let them grow properly.

went from 15 to 14 and then to 12 h - after second defoil in a few days and a 24 H lightday after that. 250 Watt HDL reactivated. Now giving them 6h 240W LED (1300PPFD) and 6 h 250 W HDL (1400PPFD) with 1h overlapp. Now using all of the Hesistuff like in the Plan : Root, Enzym, TNT, Phosphor, Bloom, Booster + Vitamins. Dripper overwatered a bit - back to handfeeding it. 3 fat psydo main-Colas are growing well :) plants seems happy with the haircut and the new lightsituation. - the LEDS are not as good as the HDL , they make a bit more PPFD from distance, but in shorter range and with good Fans the HDL is way better for the plant. new pictures will follow during the week.

Week 3 of flower complete and an interesting week to re-count. Let's jump right in.... Day 37 - I feel like I should be reporting more the fact is the Candy Kush is happy and very healthy and notch to do but keep the environment steady and stay out of her way. So that's what I did. Day 38 - on this day I watered my lovely lady. She's adapted so well to the LST and just took off. She is the Candy of my eye. I was preparing to go to Vancouver for surgery so I gave a healthy top/bottom watering to cover for my time away. Day 39 - This day was travel day so before we left I checked environment and raised my light to 20" to allow room to grow. She grows an inch to 1.5" a day during stretch. And we're off. Day 40 - surgery day Day 41 - travel day Day 42 - after sleeping in my own bed I got up to water this morning. After 3 days she was just starting to drop her leaves. After watering she perked right back up again. I feel like my timing was good and suffered no issues. I also did some defoliation to clean up the bottom skirt. Day 43 - Today all is good. Environment is spot on, and she's a happy girl. Took off a few LG fan leaves blocking sites that cannot be tucked. So all in all a relatively easy week and a simple one for the Cabbage Farm. 12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Fungus gnats were in full effect here due to the Down-to-Earth potting mix. That stuff doesn't drain worth a damn! I had just sprayed the plants with neem oil and soap in this video... and needless to say that didn't turn out well (more to follow) In other news, the French Macaron roots were growing like crazy at this point.

4/18 I think it's just about time to start flushing Trainwreck! Seeing a lot of cloudy trichomes and some amber mixed it. Next feeding will be plain water. 4/21 Amnesia was fed half strength nutes with a half tablespoon of epsom salt. Trainwreck was fed plain PH'd water. Time to keep a close eye on a Trainwreck's leaves and trichomes.

December 4th:starting in the winter, veg and bloom will happen under 400watt hps to keep the grow room warm. the seeds have been germinating for 2 days with the wet paper towel technique, they got root and are now in soil and the rockwool cube. for now im just waiting for the seeds to show root coming out of the rockwool, then i transplant to the netpot with clay pellets straight in the dwc, untill then they get fluorescent light (max 7 days) these are autoflowers so they get 18 or 20 hours light. nutrients General hydroponics three part :micro gro bloom and calmag water: rainwater (25ppm) i hope the room wont cool of too much when the lights go out. Day 1 (December 5) seeds start to come above the rockwool and the soil Day 2 (december 6) stems start to stretch i give them both pure rain water with 100ppm calmag when they feel dry. Day 4 (december 8) still no root visible out of the rockwool Day 5 (december 9) root visible outside of rockwool cube and transplant to the 55Liter rdwc air pumps 10l/minute Day 7 (december 11) root comes trough netpot, i lowered the water by removing 3Liters

I was afraid of finding a lot of budrot, luckily it was only the one cola. The buds are very frosty, the bottom at the base of the branch looks a bit brownish on some buds, i inspected it with a microscope and didnt find any mold or weird things. There are a lot of amber trichomes tho. I think that's why it looks brown like that. It smells and smokes good, so i think its fine. If someone thinks otherwise, let me know! End results: Buds: 92 Grams Small Buds: 18 Grams Trim: 16.7 Grams Total weight of the buds: 110 Grams. I calculated that i used a total of 72.3 watts this grow, that makes it 1.52 grams per watt! Very happy with the end results, and its by far my personal record hahaha.
