Describes the process of making CBD infused MCT oil at home! This short tutorial requires a Rosin press, but a Hair Iron or a regular Iron can be used instead - just remember to keep pressure on the cannabis flowers while having a good idea of what the temperature is! I would recommend using more than one extraction, because only a little amount will be hard to Decarb! This example used 2 grams of dried flowers, but the final amount decarboxylated was extracted from approx 35 grams of dried buds. It amounted to 6 grams of pure Rosin, which I mixed in a ratio of 10:1 MCT oil. Final results were 6 x 10ml tinctures. So 1000mg CBD rosin, and 9ml MCT oil in each tincture.

Day 49: Week 7 behind 8s mow and onto the final stretch now. These ladies have been great performers for me in the grow I wish I had more of them to do !!!... Fft#9 is bursting with fresh pistils again now and should swell like a trooper this week. Rhe bids are rock solid under the new pistils and her smellnis so sweet like picked fruit now.Their size is more than I expected but had hoped they would attain before the final swell and ripening. She has a good few hidden gems tucked away below decks too which will be fun to find on harvest and trim. Her biggest main is doing excellent and a great guide for her siblings to grow too hopefully. FFT#10 Is looking mean and nasty in a good way. Her darkness warns of impending loss of clarity and vision if messed with in my opinion !!!. lol She looks so different to the other ladies and her bud structure is below the main tops is a little less compacted. She is covered in trichs and her can sweetness is blatent at the slightest touch. She wanted to grow her way throughout the grow and even when tied and bent , she found a way to upset the symmetrical desire I had in mind Cant beat an independent lady who knows best !. She is so tacky when handled too. I thought she was so close to finish but she is still putting a few new pistils out over her mains so she may go another 2 weeks too. I am determined to hit the sweet spots with these two ladies and am also applying a little drought stress for the next 7 days This is to test the theory out a little and see if we can get them as pitent as possible too. fingers crossed Growmies. be safe and well. thanks for stopping by. Flowering day 73 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Fast flowering indeed as fast in vegetative stage. Cut this girl in branches and hang upside-down in smaller tent for drying Set RH @ 55% , temperatures not able to control so they will be something around 20-21 in drying tent Second Tropicana will be chopped within a couple off days In this cultivation, I used commercial LED lighting for the first time—the HLG Scorpion Diablo 650w, a beasts of light. It helped the plants beneath it develop exceptionally hard heads without heat-induced stress. The light spectrum is excellent, and the plants under it appear much healthier than those under my old light. They also finished faster, if that has any relevance. After numerous failures and difficulties with the timers I used for pumps and electromagnetic valves, which resulted in interrupted irrigation on several occasions, I believe I’ve resolved those issues. The TrolMaster programmable devices work perfectly in recycling mode. The ability to adjust times in seconds is precisely what I needed! The TCS1 Tent-X brain, equipped with an excellent sensor for temperature, humidity, and light detection, is remarkably accurate with rapid value measurement response—faster than the AC Infinity 69PRO controller. Amazing plant in term of bud density and aromas that it have. Hard and high odor buds. From second girl i got 131g net weight Total dry bud mass from two plants is 260g, Total power consumption for this two girls is around 180w. Total power used in whole tent is 720w at its maximum peak for 8 plants. Next week after leaving it in Grow Bags , first smoke review, can wait ! Overall growing Tropicana Cookies was easy grow with lot of fun. This girls are resilient to everything, from bad weather and less than perfect climate conditions. They except all. Growing two plants i can say that they grow very uniformly, finishing at same height and overall same density, size and shape. Almost like from a cutting. That is what i really like ! In future i gonna to grow this lady's at least one more time but with difference, i will grow them as only strain in same tent. Combining them with Purple Lemonade and Wedding Cheesecake was little bit challenging, i feel that either off three cultivars didn't show the best off them. Main deference was plant height and nutrient requirements. Highly recommended strain for everyone !

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

It’s my second run growing San Fernando Lemon kush, I had to repeat this lemony flavor. Even though I’ve already grow this before, I’m still very excited to grow it. Strain characteristics: This strain is an amazing hybrid between two great genetics. It crosses San Fernando Valley OG Kush which is what brings that lemony zest to the garden coming from the Lemon Thai which is crossed in that mix and then that’s crossed with Kosher Kush. The aroma of this strain is pure limonene it’s quite pleasant and very intense. Hints of wood, cypress, a bit of spices and a solvent scent which combines it all and just smacks you in the nose. The plant is a Indica-Sativa hybrid but it leans to the Sativa side, she’ll stretch on you quickly. This cultivar develops lots of trichomes and has a strong presence of the limonene terpene being ideal for resin extractions, from personal experience I highly recommend making some rosin out of these lovely flowers. Very tasty stuff, I might just set aside one whole plant to press. …getting ahead of myself here, still have a long way to go before I see any buds. Variety SWS62

As I’ve already grown this strain, I know what to expect so I’m hoping things will run smoother. Last time I only topped her and did a bit of LST guiding the colas. That technique was great but she stretched much more than I was expecting which gave me problems but ultimately gave me a good yield which were 82 grams. This tent is taller so I have more space to work with, let’s hope things run smooth and I can improve the quality and yield from last grow. Dropped 4 seeds but only 3 made it. One of the three sprouted 15 days later, while the other two sprouted almost over night. Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day DIARY This week was probably the worst week of them all in terms of all the problems that happened. Everything started on Day 146 when strong winds were capable of knocking down my plant two times. Plant wasn't demaged but it is a scary experience to see your plant basicaly up side down. Because of strong winds I was forced to move the plant to the different location. While moving one of the dominant branches snapped. I addresed the issue by taping the crack together with tape and securing the branch to the support ring with a metal wire. It was a major damage with an easy fix. The night between days 146 and 147 was accompanied with strong winds and a lot rain. This combination of wind and rain resulted in damage (half of the plant just gave up and bended to the ground) that could be easily fixed just by installing trellis before the flowering started. To prevent the further bending and support the flowers when they start fattening, I wrapped the plant into plastic wire. This was not an easy job so help from a friend was a necessity. When the plant was wrapped I pulled the flowers through the netting and did some rearrannging. The problem with bending was solved, but I discovered some other problems when closely inspecting the buds. First problems were the seeds. Yes some seeds were found. This was probably my fault because I visited the hemp farm and brought home the pollen on my clothes that could produce the seeds. It could also be the fact that I am growing outdoor and the pollen came from copletely different source. Some seeds, while growing outdoors are just inevitble. There was one more thing. I was suspicious about brown tops of some buds. Because I was affraid of what it was, the brown, not so good looking flower was cut off and closely inspected. I was angry to discover the caterpillar. I did a search of all the buds and found one more rotting bud and cut it off. I suspect that they are still there. I will inspect the plant every two days to hopefully find them and prevent the further demage. WEATHER Days 141-145 This days were sunny with daily temperatures around 26 °C. Night temperature were averaging at 15 °C. Days 146-147 Last two days were harsh. It was cloudy with average temperatures at 14 °C. Day 146 also had very strong winds. Day lenght this week has decreased to 12 hours and 10 minutes.

all in all, its a good smelling bud I WISH IT WAS PURPLE. 8 oz of good soild smoke. every time I OPEN THE JARS TO BURB THEM DURINGTHE CURING STAGE THEY WULD SMELL UP THE HOUSE.
