D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

End of Week 6:
She's really stretching at an alarming rate, but at the same time incredibly sturdy shoots that aren't bending anytime soon. Given that she's not even showing pom-poms yet, I wonder just how tall she'll get before I need to do some super-cropping. I've only got another 1.5-2 feet left to play around with before she's chewing on the light. We'll see 😬
A few days after topping her last week I had to remove one of the shoots as it had fused with the leaf, leaving the other shoot to continue by itself. Regardless, the rest of the shoots are all even in height and forming a nice even canopy. Not every day you see that.
There's also a 12-finger leaf near the top of one of the shoots, which is cool to see. It's not the result of any leaves fusing together, just an extra 3 fingers. 💪 I snipped it off to get a shot of it with my phone, as it was in an awkward spot.

I made some extract and made some edibles and added it to the diary!
This diary may get a little unorthodox because they’re in the jungle down the centre line but will still document as much as I can and get close ups of the bud sites and buds as time goes on! Shouldn’t be too challenging but it’s a challenge lol it’s all doing great though! Better than I expected!

In the mid flowering stage smells are amazing like citrus. The roots are full fill in soil, its hard rooted on the top on soil

Day one of week five! 19th September!
Small amount of defoliation today as some leaves had been laying on the soil and were turning yellow. Other than that the girls look good I think. A little more LST but think Ive got a good even spread so far.. 🤞🏼
Nutes gone in today Biobizz: Grow/Bloom/TopMax all at 1ml per litre..

Starting to see signs of filtered water deficiencies so CalMag going in on next feed @ 1ml/l. Wasn’t sure if my water filter was much cop but looks like it’s better than I thought. Wish I’d gone with my gut and started the CalMag earlier! Other than that I’m giving them a couple more weeks of veg and then we’re going to flower 🌷 all being well 🤞🏼❤️

More LST to keep things all the same height and encourage more new growth sites..

I fed a 50 50 mix of gaia green all purpose and bloom on july 12th, I Just fed another 50/ 50 mix. Still kinda early in flower so shes gonna stretch more and need that nitrogen. Bubba kush plants are 6feet 2 inches 1 week into flower!
I treated all plants with los cost plant protector 7ml -900 mill water. Going to do this weakly to keep a powdery mildew free grow and not bring pests into flower.

this is my first time transplanting from hydro to soil due to room/spacing issues, and let me tell you, this is NOT an easy task, and should be avoided at all costs, especially the bigger the plant. it almost seems impossible to remove all the clay pebbles without damaging some of those 2-3week old baby roots around those pebbles. i gently picked out as many clay pebbles as i could with my hand and then had to cut the plastic net pot to completely free up those roots without shocking the plant too much. the transplant was a success into soil 5gal, although I expected worse, and am expecting to be a few weeks behind to let her system reset/build. to make matters worse, its been VERY HOT in the midwest (90-100f). and here we go, later that same week, i accidentally left her overnight, and into the morning sun on a 100f day. as you can see from her burn marks, she clearly wasn’t able to defend herself against that type of extreme heat yet, and i was blessed to catch her before the afternoon heat, otherwise she’d be toast, lol. just a few of the upper leaves turned crispy. i know she wasn’t happy so i put her under more gentle conditions, now let’s see how she comes back

COntinued to apply small amounts of pressure with LST but aside from that, letting her do her thing.
Had to leave her for a few days and she got dehydrated, after a feed she perked up again but she's now started sucking all the nutes out of her lower growth. She has a lot so I'm hoping it doesn't affect the harvest. Would have preferred this to begin with my flush.

In knapp einer Woche haben sich die beiden verdoppelt. Die Seifuku hat sich super vom Topping erholt, hat aber einen etwas großen Abstand zwischen den Nodien. Die Lampe wurde von 80 cm auf 60 cm Abstand gesenkt, um so die Intensität zu erhöhen. Beide haben es gut vertragen, und nächste Woche wird sie weitere 10–15 cm gesenkt, da ich wegen des Magnetdimmers nur in 20-%-Stufen dimmen kann.
Bei der Sour Zoda wurde das erste Blattpaar entfernt, sodass die Seitentriebe nicht mehr verdeckt werden. Ich habe aber wohl das falsche gewählt, weil das nächste Paar so schnell gewachsen ist, dass sie sofort wieder verdeckt waren. Die Sour Zoda wächst eher gedrungen im Vergleich zur Seifuku.
Nach den Fotos wurden beide mit Wizzy's Pflanzengeflüster (0,5 g auf 50 ml pro Pflanze) eingesprüht.

In just under a week, both have doubled in size. The Seifuku has recovered really well from the topping but shows a somewhat large spacing between the nodes. The light was lowered from 80 cm to 60 cm to increase intensity. Both handled it well, and next week it will be lowered another 10–15 cm, since with the magnetic dimmer I can only adjust in 20% steps.
On the Sour Zoda, the first pair of leaves was removed so the side shoots wouldn’t be shaded. But I probably chose the wrong pair, because the next set grew so quickly that they were shaded again right away. The Sour Zoda grows more compact compared to the Seifuku.
After the photos both plants have been treated with Wizzy's Pflanzengeflüster (0,5 g in 50 ml per plant)
Nachtrag: Wir haben einen Schädlingsbefall, daher wurde die Erde bedeckt mit einer dicken Schicht Sand und darauf Splitt. Dadurch wird der Sand nicht weggespült beim Gießen und es wird noch unattraktiver für die Wurzelfliegen.
Bei der Seifuku wurden die Haupttriebe mit Clips heruntergebogen. Bei beiden wurde das unterste Blattwerk entfernt, damit die ich die Barriere gut auf die Erde bekomme.

Ended up cutting all of the front left plant this week and majority of the back two plants. Guna let the lowers get some light for a few more days. Really noticing all the tiny ass buds. Hopefully I'll make something out of them. First run with a net and I just left way too many branches/bud sites for this size of plants they were. Buds look good though. Flushing last plant and will be cutting in a few days.

Buenas a todos!! Esta semana solo me dedique a regar con agua, la única planta que sigue en pie es la plantada en tierra,las plantadas en macetas se van deteriorando seguramente por algún hongo,pero bueno, con más tiempo subiré esas fotos de esas plantas, una por cierto se quebró y otra se puso toda violeta las hojas y tallos.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur dreizehntenWoche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts!
Diese Woche halte ich es mal wieder etwas kürzer😄.
Ich will mich hier ja nicht die ganz die ganze zeit beschweren aber das Wetter könnte echt n bisschen mehr mitspielen 😅. Die letzten Tage hatten wir. Von Niesel regen bis zu Monsun artigen Verhältnissen alles gehabt. Die Damen haben diese wiedersagen Verhältnisse gut weggesteckt und stehen in voller Pracht. Allerdings haben sie nicht übermäßig an höhe zugelegt was ich ihnen angesichts der Wetterlage auch nicht übel nehmen kann.
Aber was ist die Woche geschehen?
Ich habe den Pflanzen eine kleine Hormonkur in Form der im letzten Bericht angesetzten Jauche gegönnt. Dies besteht aus:
5l Wasser (in meinem Fall habe ich destilliertes verwendet ist aber eigentlich egal)
75g Alfalfa
75g Seegras
20g Melasse/Lab Mischung
Das ganze in einen Behalte gegeben und dann mit offen vergären lassen. Da die verwendeten Milchsäurebakterien sich anaerob vermehren, also ohne zugäbe von Sauerstoff wie beim AACT, werdende sich keinen sprudelstein. Die Jauche wird einmal am Tag mit geschlossenem Deckel geschüttelt.Wichtig ist zu erwähnen das die Jauche über die zeit immer mehr an Potenz gewinnt da die Milchsäurebakterien immer mehr Material zersetzen. Dies ist zu bedenken wenn man die Jauche verdünnt.
Die fertige Jauche ist eine absolutes Monster im garten und bringt eine reihe an benefits für die Pflanzen. Unter anderem:
+verbesserung der Bodenbeschaffenheit
+Erhöhung de Stresstoleranz
+förderung des Wachstums durch phytohormone
+erhöhen die diversität an Mikroorganismen
+Verbessern die Phosphoraufnahme durch die bessere aufspaltung im Boden
+untedrückung von Schadorganismen
eine gute und bereits Pflanzenverfügbare Silikatquelle
Und und und …
Die Jauche habe ich einerseits im Verhältnis 1:20 gespritzt hierbei ist darauf zu achten das man dies eine Stunde vor Sonnenaufgang erledigt um Verbrennungen Vorzubeugen und den Bakterien zeit zu geben einen film auf den Blättern zu bilden welcher auch die Ansiedlung von Pilzen erschwert (Mehltau etc.). Am nächsten Tag habe ich die Jauche dann noch im Verhältnis 1:10 gegossen um wirklich alle bennefits mitzunehmen . Die Pflanzen haben das Treatment gut aufgenommen und wirken bereits etwas vitaler.
Es gibt auch einen neuen Liebling im Garten:
Die bitter Orange hat sich wirklich gemacht und ein robb ein an den Stängeln (nicht dass das immer aussagekräftig wäre) ist wirklich vielversprechend.
Mit dem im letzten Bericht angekündigten lollipoppen warte ich doch noch etwas das ich mit bei dem eine oder anderen unteren trieb nicht sicher bin ob er sich nicht doch noch macht . Das alles wird sich dann in den nächsten ein bis zwei Wochen entscheiden.
Und zu guter letzt..
Habe ich den Bio Bloom in Form eines Top-dress eingearbeitet, da wir uns doch langsam aber sicher in Richtung Blüte bewegen und das Bodenlöeben diesen erst Pflanzenverfügbar machen muss. Durch das aufstreuen hat sich ein leichter Pilzfilm gebildet. Dies ist aber kein schlechtes Zeichen und wurde auch son in der akungsbeilage beschrieben.
Alles in allem sind wir gut auf Kurs 😊
