3rd week of flower completed. They got a lollipop cut and a bit defoliation. Besides that I increased the light a bit to 950-1000 umol/m2/s, that’s a DLI of 41-43 mol/day. Nutrients got adjusted a bit. This week was overall a bit more chill because they stopped stretching so hard. I expect still a stretch but it shouldn’t be that much any more. Flowers start to build up more and more and there are already quite a lot of trichomes. At the moment I will push the plant regarding to light and the overall environment. But later on I will go for terp and trichome preservation and will lower the temps. Starting warm and getting colder to the end. Right now I aim for a VPD of 1.5-1.55 kpa. Hi everybody this germination week went great very excited to see how she is .she looks very happy and healthy normally I start them with nothing except for a bit of cal Mag .for the first week then I move on to about 250 parts per million . But I have noticed with these newer genetics that there are a lot hungrier. So I started it off with 350 parts per million . And it seems to be doing great . Thank you for looking at the diary we'll be an update every week and always keep in mind it's 420 somewhere 🌱👍

Day 51: So today is my usual watering day but decided that I can do it in the evening instead of the morning. How wrong I was, blue dream at the back was deeply unhappy with that idea. I came to water and shed dropped like crazy. The other BD was ready eventhough she wasnt due until tomorrow, I feel as though I may have gotten a little complacent with the 3 day water. I'll be checking after 2 days now as I dont even bother to lift the pots to check. All back to normal after watering. (Watered plain PH 6.3 water) Photos arent quite as good tonight as I was rushing as my phone was going to die. Will get some better ones today Lastly, a big thanks to marshydro for sending me the tsw-2000! Girls are looking awesome under it 😏👌 Super easy to install, I've left at the same hight and set the brightness to about 50%. Using my cheap light measure it's a little more than what they were getting before. I'm getting a much better coverage with the tsw-2000 than what I had with the 2x viparspectra P1000s. I'm really happy with the light already, I'm sure the girls are going to love it just as much as I 😝. Day 52: all is good! Girls aren't dropping an hour before lights out so I have increased the light to 65%. Really good sign, maybe they like the mars light spectrum a little more than the VS. Checked on weight of the pot today, still feels real heavy.. I'll be shocked if I need to water tomorrow, maybe it was just a one off as it has been a little warm. We shall see tomorrow! Day 55: the older blue dream is showing a pretty heavy P deficiency. This is likely due to my laziness.. I've been feeding her the same as the others even though she looked like she could take some more nutes. Fed them all today 4L ph 6.4 530ppm 1ml/L big bud & bloom B 0.5ml/L b52 0.25ml/L cal mag Bads are starting to put on weight and pistils are browning a little roughly 30-40% are browning. Getting closer to harvest 😁 Day 58: watered 4L plain Ph 6.4 (All) Small defoliation of all 3 plants, increasing light penetration and airflow to the bud sites. Esta semana he regado solo con oro negro 2ml x litro de agua y organic power 1ml x litro de agua el resto de la semana solo con agua, he medido las ppm y en el drenaje me ha dado 1040. Me preocupa un poco el color de los tallos de las hojas que están de color morado, pero solo a las de maceta, a la que esta en tierra la veo bien, es mas le he sacado las ramas bajas para que no gaste energía en criar esos coquitos que salen pequeños.

Week 11 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ This week’s update is all about setting up for the big transition—we’re finally flipping these beauties into flower! But before we do, I took some important steps to ensure a smooth transition. Defoliation & Why It Matters Before Flower Before the flip, I gave them a thorough defoliation, clearing out lower and overcrowded leaves. Why? Because: More Light Penetration – Helps lower bud sites develop properly. Better Airflow – Reduces humidity buildup and risk of mold. Focused Energy – Encourages the plant to put energy into strong bud production instead of unnecessary foliage. Of course, balance is key—I trimmed enough to open things up but left plenty for healthy growth. Final Pre-Flip Routine • Temps & RH: Holding steady at 22°C with 66% RH, keeping conditions ideal before flower. • 💧 Nutrients: Running the Aptus Holland Clean Feeding Approach with: • Regulator for plant resilience. • RO Water Conditioner to balance pH and improve uptake. • System Clean, even though I’m not using a hydro system, to keep the root zone optimal. • All-in-One Liquid, which is now the primary nutrient source. • 🔄 Watering: Still bottom-watering to keep gnats away and encourage strong root growth. 36-48 Hours of Darkness Before the Flip Before switching the room to 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness, I’ll be giving them a 36-48 hour dark period. This technique helps signal the plants that it’s time to transition, leading to a faster and stronger flower initiation. Day 23 They are getting very hungry/thirsty they take much water and love the higher nutrient content!!! 🙀 Green gelato buds already smell nice a little hint of citrus and they fatten up good... Sweet ZZ still isnt showing a hint of the stretch I was hoping for ... hopefully she will get enaught light.. Fruit Spirit going fast and better than expected. I know there are some yellow / brownish leafs.... but i wont pick them unless its bad because i gave her heavy defo all the way and just want her to relax and get fat now for the rest of her life =) Day 28 Lowered the light about 10 cm to just 35-30 cm distance and so far they like it =) Also installed a fan under the scrog in the middle of the 4 pots for air circulation under the buds The Sweet ZZ Finally really developes some flowers (yessss was a bit worryed) Green Gelato just is a beast 100% love the genetic so awsome!! no topping just lst and scrog and that girl even goas better than the 2 weeks longer vegged Fruit Spirits. respect to RQS for breeding that girl cant wait to try the auto version got 5 seeds ready to go =P Fruit Spirit starts do get some nice berry like smell and looks like shes gonna finish early. so i guess when they are ready for the chop i will replace them with some autos maybe cookies and blueberry or something will see week 4 finished untill now im very happy with the outcome 😁
