Grow Journal Week 9: Harvest Time 🌿 Hello dear growers and growerettes, All the ladies are finally done! Although each plant turned out a bit differently, I’m thrilled that the trichomes are consistent this time. The plants took slightly longer than what the manufacturer suggested, but they’re now ready. I’ve trimmed individual branches, removed large “no sugar leaves,” and hung them upside down in the tent. They’ve been drying for seven days and should be ready for trimming by the end of this week. Equipment and Soil Review Irrigation: I plan to replace the Blumats with autopots for the next grow. While the Blumat drippers work, they did flood my tent once, which wasn’t ideal. Soil: I’ll continue using the living soil from Floranics, but this time I’ll use the ready-made soil and their new product. This run was with the old product and self-activated. I'm very pleased with the time savings and the results, which are more than satisfactory for the effort. Semana 4 (del 23 al 29 de abril) Los espacios para las flores estan preparados, y las flores estan en pleno crecimiento. 25 de abril Riego con 1.2l x planta 2A + 2B + 1.5 Candy + 1.5 Big Bud + 1 overdrive + 1 B-52 + 0.16 Mammoth P + 2.5 Calmag Ph 6.1 EC: 1.2 T:20°C Periódicamente quitamos hojas que vamos viendo tocadas o que estorban. 25 de abril Los trips siguen ahí, no son muchos y parece que no prosperan demasiado pero estan ahi. Riego foliar con spruzit y tec fort para mantenerlo controlados y hoy esperamos que nos llegue diatomea para erradicarlos del todo. Quitamos las hojas que vemos que molestan o que son un poco inútiles porque no les da demasiada luz. Cada día que pasa se ven más flores y más grandes. • Malas noticias, el medidor de EC se averio y los vores del riego pasado fueron erróneos, pero ya tenemos nueva herramienta y solucionaremos los pequeños problemas causados. 29/4 Riego con 1.1l por planta 2 A + 2 B + 1.5 Big Bud + 1.5 Overdrive + 1.5 Candy + 2 Sensizym PH 6.1/6.2 EC 1.72/1.8 ms 18/19.8°C Ayer pusimos varias trampas adesivas azules para trips por si hay alguno que no vaya dando saltos de planta en planta. Hoy realizamos ultimo ( esperemos) riego antiplagas, usaremos 1.5ml•l de aceite de nem y 20g por litro de tierra de diatomea que por lo que dicen es mano de santo. Esta semana las temperaturas han subido un poco; en encendido oscilan entre 25-27°C, estos últimos días siendo más de 26-28°C. Todo sobre la marcha, algunas plantas como la bubba parece que se está adelantando porque es bastante rápida 50-55 dias, la Muffin berry ( que la teníamos en 1.2m ) la hemos tenido que doblar 45° para que no se nos vaya de altura. Absolutely growing the red Pheno again. Very strong! Great citrus 🍊 smell. Taste is great not super dense but I’ll try and see if I can fix that next round

Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de vida de estas Gorilla melon feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío , las 3 semillas que germinaron con éxito se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 3 , 100% ratio germinado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 18h de luz, el foco está al 75% de potencia. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Thank you for taking the time to read. 10-16 😍😍😍 Plants are starting to show deficiencies!!! Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

Going onto week 2 of flower! These were taken dec28, so day 8 of flower. So far looking fine though a bit dehydrated. This one definitely is water hungry now and needs to be watered every other day now. We'll see how she comes along into the next few weeks. D6 of this week (d13 of flower), and we can start to see flowers coming in a teensy bit. We are still watering every 2 -3 days. On D7 we did a slightly premature feed of the flower girl fertilizer. Day 57 - Starting week 9 and WOW, what a difference in week. I’m thinking this girl is gonna end up being a beast. She’s stretching about an inch every day and filling in more and more each day. I’m ready for the next few weeks of more of the same. Growing is still fairly new to me and I can’t be happier with the FastBud genetics and how this girl is looking so far. Will give her the next foxfarm trio feeding on Thursday. Day 58 - Not much to really update. She’s getting fatter and filling in everyday and getting pretty frosty. Will give her her next feed of foxfarm tomorrow. It amazes me, how much she fills in and fattens up each day. Day 59 - I’m still amazed by the growth everyday. She’s looking pretty amazing. Gave her the last week 9 foxfarm feeding and will give her straight water until the week 10. She’s still got a couple weeks to go but can’t wait for her to be finished. Day 60 - Looking great. She slowed down her drinking a bit so held off on watering her but will check her out tomorrow and see how thirsty she is. She’s defensively fattening up each day but still a couple weeks before I think about chopping. She’s got lots of growing time left. Day 61 - She’s really starting to smell the place up and it amazing. She was pretty thirsty, gave her a full gallon of pH’d water before she started any sort of runoff. All looking good and can’t wait for her to finish. Day 62 - Nearing the end of week 9 and really pleased with this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and fill in. Still a couple weeks left but can’t wait to harvest and try this girl. Day 63 - Ending week 9 and looking sweet. She’s really starting to pack on some weight and filling in nicely. She’s definitely starting to get frosty and starting to smell really good.

Seems their all adapting pretty well.. Black Sugar and Gelato moving slow but still moving. Other two seem to be moving little quicker.

This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Dancing Dosidos. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Miss Dancing Dosidos growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. We have braved the elements of nature thus far. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Miracle Grow needs to remain for garden vegetables and flowers NOT cannibas. As a result, I have made an Executive Decision and will going add some @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the remainder this grow. Stay tuned to next week and comments are always welcome. Week 7 - The end's in sight. Some unseasonal hot days here, 29° to 34° this week so, the shade cloth has come out and they're placed in an area with the most airflow. Aphids keep on appearing so I contiune to check and spray with water on infected areas to keep the pop as low as pos; so far i'am on top of them. The pineapples are really packing it on and the smell is getting stronger every day. I've upped the nutes close to Biobizz's recommened and so far, there seems to be no negative feedback. Due to the heat I can't help but be a little concerned though humidity has dropped to during the day to about 50 and 80 at night for a few hours. I hope they're as resilient as their reputation suggests. The lemonade contiunes to chunk up, though I think she's as tall as she's going to get. The smell continues to increase in intensity which actually compliments the pineapples nicely. Again the weather's abit of a concern, even more for this girl as Fastbuds recommened cooler temps for this strain; I wasn't banking on temps like this for another month or so yet. I'am thinking I should start a few weeks earlier next season because if the Lemonades smoke as good as they look and smell i'll be growing them next season for sure. Fingers crossed.

WOW!! She is a stonking little plant!!!!!!!! Grown another 17cm this week..... Now over a meter tall from a 1 Litre airpot!!!!!!!!!

End of week 12 and she started to produce some decent buds

This one has been the second easiest harvest we ever did (back to the Purple Punch), the plant lost many leaves by herself, still pretty easy. she has a strong flavour and we literally cant wait to smoke her.

Welcome to the start of week four. We join her royal majesty as she begins what I suspect will be a big week. She has continued to impress every day and I am increasingly excited to see what she can do. I'm beginning to dream of my next grow [G3] a tent full of princesses. I still do not know what effect the attempted FIM has had but I suspect by the end of the week it will be obvious. Day 23: Secondary shoots have overtaken primary. I'm curious as to how the FIM pans out. Day 24: LST on lower nodes. Day 25: Citronella continues to show mortals of lesser breeding what royalty can do. Day 25.5: Scalpel! Wire! LST! HST! Defoliate! Defoliate! Defoliate! Her majesty has been adjusted (per royal decree). Day 26: Her majesty is thirsty... I'm having to feed her twice a day. I need to move her into a bigger pot. Day 27: Accidentally snapped off a side node attempting HST. Have dipped in rooting hormone and potted. Perhaps this will be the first Princess. Day 28: Photo before lights on hence wilting. Weekly summary: Because I took off four really big leaves Citronella's progress doesn't seem as impressive this week. However let me assure you it has been transformative. Her stem is thick, her colour is perfect, she responds willfully to my attentions (training). She is a mother plant so everything I do is geared towards producing more and stronger side stems.

4/8 super plump and thick. Its like a square rock hard prism shaped top cola. Water intake has slowed quite a bit. The end is nearing. I give it another couple weeks 4/12 shes super pretty. Orange Pistils, dark green buds with light purple,pinkish tones on some of the bud leaves. Reminds me of the gorilla skittles online picture
