Well week two is going very well both phenos one and two of the purple lemonade are looking very healthy. Pheno Number one has very slight deformation from the seed sticking on the seedling leaves for a little too long. Nothing too serious. They have grown an inch vertically in the past week and I would say they are off to a great start still. Patiently enjoying the growth! Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

and yet another grow has ended....

Week 8 10-14 Water, both drinking around 750 ml a day! Pretty much just fun with pictures from here. Kosher still seems a bit hungry, but doing awesome! Ztrawberriez is just nasty! Cant seem to get good enough pictures! Lol 10-17 Water and Guy was up to no good! 😻 10-15 Guy stopped in to pose today! 10-19 Flushed both today. I thought they should be low on food, but I over loaded again, I guess. K ppm starting was 1200, now 440 Z 1050 now 310 Sheesh! One day I may Not over feed. 🤣 I even thought 2 tbs was light. 🤣 .

After more than 100 days she was hung up to harvest 👍 Hey Guys :-) It was hung upside down in the drying tent for 10-14 days at a temperature of 18-19 degrees and 55-58% humidity before it was trimmed clean by hand and put into the glass with Boveda 62%. The glass was opened every day for 15 minutes to air and the buds were taken out individually for the first few days. Now after another week the pictures were taken then put back in the jar where they now stay complete for 4-6 days. After another 2 weeks, the Boveda 58% comes into the glass and it's perfect 💚😊. Report : As always, Dr Grinspoon from Barneys farm is top notch. The smell, the look is everything :-) . She has grown extremely tall as always but due to heavy LST she ended up at 70cm with a very good yield. The rest follows in Smoke report

Blüte geht voran. Die Raubmilben Amblyseius (Neoseiulus) cucumeris sind schnell da gewesen 🙏 Ich hoffe, sie halten den Thripsbefall bis zum Ende der Blüte unter Kontrolle. Bisher kann ich noch nicht viel zu den Terps sagen, sehr dezent alles. Zudem haben die Pflanzen die Tage zum ersten Mal einzeln einen Fermakor-Hydrolysat als Blütenbooster in sehr gering konzentrierter Dosis erhalten. Danke geht hier nochmal raus @yan420 Ich verspreche mir durch die direkte Verfügbarkeit der Nährstoffe P und K und den Aminosäuren einen metabolismischen Boost. Bin auf die Endergebnisse wie immer sehr gespannt.
