Grow diary 11 Stage 2 Days 11-20 The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range. Day 18 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. She wasn't quite ready yesterday when i did the other 3 strains, and i forgot to take picture's. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project, She was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins. Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant. I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered. At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth. Temp Max 27.8c Avg 23.8c Min 19.4c Humid Max 69.5% Avg 55.7% Min 45.4% VPD Max 1.98 Avg 1.32 Min 0.71 Hope to be back in 10 days without hitting any problems.

Ya an alcanzado unos 25 cms las nenas,todas bien parejas....en unos dias mas ya paseremos a floracion al alcanzar unos 35 a 40 cms cada una...se viene lo mejor!!

July 20: 31 inches with a 16 cola manifold 👍😎. Definitely growing fast and has now pulled ahead of the 16 cola Bruce Banner Fast which is at 30 inches. Hot again today so a bit more water and a couple of mistings with hose water to cool off a bit and provide some humidity. One tomato plant that I realized had a potassium deficiency responded well to a potassium silicate foliar spray. You can learn some cool stuff growing dope. July 24: still growing fast and maybe starting to pre-flower which is fine cuz I’m starting the force flowering in a few days. This is just 12 h of darkness to get this photoperiod to start flowering. Yes, it’s a photoperiod plant from Fast Buds. And it’s awesome. Did another lazy compost tea which is just 5 gallon pail of water that’s sat out overnight to degas, two handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, kelp and Humic Blend, and finally a couple handfuls of shredded coco coir to give the bacteria some where to attach and grow. Leave overnight, maybe stir a couple times, but that’s all. 24-48 h maximum as you don’t want it going anaerobic (and stinky). After tea, she and the other girls got a nice top dressing of barley and Power Bloom with minor amounts of oyster shells (for calcium) and Azomite for trace metals. These are bloom nutrients in anticipation of the start of flowering this weekend. This has been the hottest 90 day period ever here in Edmonton, and lots of other places too.

So much to say... I'll come back later and give more details. I'm so happy, I know it's not perfect but it's my first grow where I'm satisfied and proud! I correct things from the first 2 tents... I had other issues and I did new mistakes, I learned new things....

Day 63 Flower #18 The SCroG chapter closed. The largest stretching phase is complete and the inflorescence is becoming denser. That's why I'm letting the lady grow now. Week 3 Veg Nothing has changed this week nutrient wise. All of the Surf Purp siblings are looking very happy and healthy. I usually try to have them transplanted into their next pot around day 20, but seeing as their next pot will be their final pot I'll leave them a little longer. Even though I'll be using fabric pots I don't want them to get too root bound too soon before flower. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

More Incredible Developments this week! I started adding General Hydroponics Bud on the first watering of the third week of flower - it has resulted in some surprisingly big and fast growth over the past week. You can see from going to the previous week and this one, the bud sites seem to just getting fatter and searching out for their neighbors above and below them with the white pistils - I know I keep saying this but as a lifetime cannabis user, this is the first time I have had the opportunity to watch my own garden closely through the entire plants development and life cycle, and so far this is VERY exciting and entertaining to see the developments each day. The topping and LST techniques I used (no experience, only watching videos and researching) have resulted in my plants taking on almost a bowl or basket shape, where the outside branches have reached far far above the middle canopy during their "final stretch" or first week or two of flowering. Now, the middle of all of my plants have numerous smaller bud sites that are developing - I am looking forward to how the lower canopy buds develop! I am currently watering them every other day - 8 cups of water each. This past week I increased their water intake from 6 cups to 8 cups - So far I am seeing no sign of stress in any way shape or form - only VERY happy plants working on bulking up on their flowers. I plan on letting them do their thing and working on maintaining their environment so it stays consistent. Definitely a big increase in smell this week - the Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic seem to be moving along and bulking up a little more than the GMO. When picking leaves off the GMO, I can already start to smell and recognize hints of the tremendous gas garlic stank I have been looking forward to - Appreciate the Likes and Follows! Are they going into flower? There is not many signs of that because i have a small leak of light between them but will see 🤞

Still stretching.... using tap water now. Added more soil and DE. I think I read the TDS meter wrong last time, so probably way overfed. Finally had some time to retie down, but there are so many!!
