Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. First sign of mold formed. I cut the branch, remove moldy bit and drying it. I needed to get her inside as soon as possible, so this made me harvest the Peach Puree CBD faster as she was using the lights, I brought the church in and put her next the peach for her final night, you can see her in the 3rd picture. I needed to do some super cropping to get a more even canopy so that the light gets as many buds as possible. Was still not happy with how the lower branches are getting barely any lights so I did some foliation and tied the lower branches so they are higher (you can see some side ways branches in the video, that is because I pulled them in). Had to some reflective material lying around, so I wrapped that around her and she is looking very comfortable in her new home now. I've put some hay which I had laying around on the soil with some leaves I cut to act as some mulch which could be why she is drinking very little water, haven't had to water her since I brought her in 3 days ago (mind you she was under a lot of rain before that).

She grew 27cm this week! Really starting flowering too! She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. I notice her leaves are Sativa-like!! 😍 Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 6 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! 10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

⭐ TrolMaster tracking ⭐ I started to track my crop during week 15, when I got the Tent-X TCS-1 by TrolMaster. First impression was: this is too professional for me, I can't handle setting it up and using it well. Then I started reading some posts on Instagram, I visited their site and in 5 minutes my cultivation experience took a huge step forward with disarming simplicity, I couldn't believe it. I have uploaded tracking videos from the TrolMaster app for each week from the 15th to the 19th, as well as the two weeks of drying stage. ⭐ Controller Chronicles ⭐ Day after day I appreciated the clarity and precision for data, access to all settings and instant readings by connecting a WIFI router to the controller's LAN port. I loved the possibility to dim my lamps remotely, or even automatically based on the temperature in the box! 🌱 GERMINATION (2 days) Seeds in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 10 hours, then in root riots and under the lamp. They sprouted after 48 hours from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (10 weeks and half) I decided to give these plants a long vegetative growth and this allowed me to do a lot of training on both. Starting from the 4th veg week I started with defoliation sessions every two weeks, for a total of four during the entire vegetative phase. The last defoliation was done a couple of days before the switch, in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. Furthermore I did Topping on week 6, cutting the apical branch, then on week 8 I did Topping again on several sites, as well as SuperCropping on the highest branches to make the canopy uniform. The light cycle I used is 18/6 and the last two veg weeks I lowered the light hours to 16/8 first and 14/10 then. During the veg stage I made 4 DWC change, PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.6 and was 1.4 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (9 weeks) I started this phase after 36 hours of darkness, I then changed the DWCs solution (adding a flowering stimulator). Then I mounted the ScrOG-net about 50 cm from the base of the plants and I wove the phenotype #1 through the net occupying at least 60% of the available space; the phenotype #2 stretched shortly after the switch and I used the net only to widen the central branches. They showed the pre-flowers two weeks after the switch, then I made two defoliations on week 3 and 5 flo. During the last four weeks of flowering (weeks 6-9) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values ​​under control and this also thanks to the Tent-X controller by TrolMaster which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. I chopped them when trichomes were about 85% milky and 15% amber. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.8 and 6.2, about EC I started with 2 and was 2.3 on the last week before flush. ✅ HARVEST - From dry seed to harvest: 140 days (2 days germination + 75 days veg + 63 days flo). - Chopped after 4 days flush and 48 hours in dark; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING STAGE - Time: 14 days; - Average: 20° C - 50% RH. - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT - Phenotype #1: 230 gr buds + 25 gr larf; - Phenotype #2: 105 gr buds + 50 gr larf. So, the overall dry weight is: 335 gr buds + 75 gr larf. ✅ CURING STAGE - Curing is done after 30 days with Boveda 62%.

Progressed as expected in the last 7 days. Will be using the Vitalink nutrient range on this grow as their prices are so much lower compared to other nutrient ranges available in the UK and there's a global cost of living crisis thanks to corporate greed, so it will be interesting to see the results when using what they recommend. BTW - This grow should have an asterisk next to "Wedding Gelato" I'm almost 100% sure I haven't mixed the seed up with any other, but can't rule it out entirely. I am stoned all of the time so it's a possibility. I guess we'll find out when she flowers.

I’m a couple days behind on my posting of this girl. But here she is! Growing strong and healthy. I am getting ready to transplant her into a bigger pot soon enough. Then hopefully I will be able to get a picture of a stellar root system. On another note, the field peas in the “400” are coming along, slowly but surely! I plan to transplant into the “400” in approximately 2 months (8weeks). Day 26, I’ve got a larger pot (2.7 L) with my fancy soil, lots of greensand, I checked the pH and it seems stable at 6. I did add a lot of lime. Maybe the lime takes time to raise the pH too? Anyhow, I have potassium silicate to help raise pH if needed. I hope this isn’t a mistake putting her into that. In fact I’m going to add more lime to the top half and then the potassium silicate to water in. Fingers crossed for stable, beautiful, warm and sunny weather!! Happy Growing 💪🌳
