The High Plains weather is starting to test the environment, but the quartet is locked in, vibrant green, and praying hard to the Colorado sun. Key Milestones This Week 1. The Automated Manifold is Live 🛠️ The biggest victory of the week was getting the DIY irrigation manifold completely hooked up, pressure-balanced, and dialed in. The Setup: Custom green hose "halos" are wrapped around the base of each individual plant inside the rims of the 25-gallon fabric bags. The Run: Clocked our first official initial run this week. The manifold pushed an excellent, steady volume of water, completely saturating all four massive containers in just **15 minutes**. The Baseline: This uniform edge-to-edge moisture spread is exactly what we need to ensure the organic soil mix stays perfectly charged without leaving dry pockets. No more manual water lugging for my back! 2. Air Gaps & Root Pruning 💨 With the 25-gallon bags lifted entirely up off the deck floor on mobile furniture dollies, we have a perfect air gap underneath. The Impact: Thanks to the low humidity and steady wind on the Eastern Plains, these elevated pots are acting as massive evaporative cooling systems. The 360-degree airflow is drying the bags out from the outside-in and bottom-up. The Strategy: This is triggers natural air-pruning at the bottom, forcing the plants to stop circling their roots and instead blast out a massive web of lateral feeder roots higher up in the rich organic mix. We're keeping a close eye on the bag weights over the next 48 to 72 hours to map out our new watering frequency. 3. Plant Training & Structural Breakdown (Featuring DP5) 📏 The quartet is responding beautifully to the first topping session and ongoing structural training. Current Height: Took the tape measure out to the deck today—**DP5** is sitting stout and muscular right at the 12.5 to 13-inch mark. Canopy Architecture: By pulling the lower branches outward with precise tie-downs secured to the bag rims and supporting them with bamboo stakes, the core of the plants is completely open. Sun & Wind Defense: Node spacing is incredibly tight, building thick, rugged main stalks that split beautifully at the topping nodes. This low, wide profile is exactly what we want to withstand the heavy plains winds. Every single lower growth tip now has direct access to high-altitude UV light, transforming them into future dominant vertical colas. Next Steps The bamboo frameworks are built, and the trellis netting is already waiting in the wings directly behind the deck setup. I didn’t do any lst, topping or stress training. I am using air pots with some vermiculite, a bit of worm compost mix from local store, and a dash of 20/20/20 when it was a seedling.

Hey everyone! Another week has flown by for the Stickies, and as usual they haven't slowed down one bit. Flowering sites are multiplying nicely across all plants. Two of them haven't developed the thickest stems yet, but it's still early days and plenty of time to see how things evolve. On the feeding side, I raised the EC by another 0.1, as runoff EC was consistently coming in below input. Plants are handling it perfectly. The box has a clear boss this week. Despite topping, LST and even super cropping on some of the main stems to keep her in check, she's hit the 1 meter mark and shows no intention of stopping, making the canopy uneven. She's being watched very closely. VPD keeps dropping as the dense canopy pushes humidity beyond what the current dehumidifier can handle. If it stays consistently above 65%, I'll be adding a second unit for the final weeks of flower to ensure tight, dense and resinous buds at harvest. First pistils appeared over the last couple of days. Bud formation is officially underway and I'll be supporting it with Big Bud. I love this hobby. At this point it's a full-blown passion, bordering on obsession. Happy growing everyone! 🙌

April 18: Thank you MSNL seeds for the package i germinated as soon they got here 😄 So i start with 2 strains in my small tent, then when the 4x4 is free i will pump it full too with all of these for a few crops, cheers April 23: they both above ground now April 20: the seeds have roots and are now planted in 2 liter pots

Die Timelapse ist diese Woche nicht ganz so schön geworden. Sobald der Stretch in den kommenden Tagen durch ist, gibt es eine großzügige Entlaubung und die erste Runde Blütedünger.

Hello grow 🌎! Finally seeing signs of flowering beginning. (Branches alternating, calxes, pistils, etc.) I cut the girls' dose of gro pro which is full of N, way down amd introduced monster bloom and a small dose of nirvana. Was going to tie down branches but realized that it would make draining their buckets near impossible. So I decided to use bamboo sticks to "position" branches in spots of light and out of tge way of others.

Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

my second batch of automatics. I am very optimistic even though one of them has germinated in a strange way. its seed was stuck to the primary COTILÉDONES, I notice a small deficiency now but I believe it will rise quickly. are showing very well for the first week

After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong.
