Week 6 is a short one. Humidity is high as shit but I've just ordered a dehumidifier. VPD sadly is only at about 0.8 mPa during the Day and wayy lower at night.

Blüte Woche drei beginnt. Die Pflanzen strecken sich gut. Die Blütenansätze sind mittlerweile auch gut zu sehen. Den kpa Wert habe ich auf 1,4 erhöht Der PPFD Wert liegt bei 650. Update: Gestern wurden die Pflanzen entlaubt und mit Vegan Phosphor Boost (7,5mg pro Topf) bestreut und gegossen.

This week consists of July 2, 2022 thru July 8, 2022 - Seeds were planted on May 27th, 2022 and they all sprouted on May 31st, 2022 (~4 days) Beginning of flower so I changed the light to use the HPS bulb. Maintaining temp and humidity during flower with lower temperatures and a higher VPD has been a bit challenging because of the outside temperature but it went ok. I will start to lower the AC unit temperature during dark period to get a larger difference but it makes it hard to keep the CO2 levels high with the AC unit on more often. The plants are using up a lot more water now so I have increased the feeding/water frequency to at least every other day. LIGHTS: I'm running the lights on an 18-6 schedule. I have the dark time scheduled from 11am to 5pm since the lights increase temperature and during that time the outside temperature is at its highest so it seems to be easier to maintain proper temperature ranges with the light off during that period. Swapped out the metal halide bulb to the high pressure sodium on July 6th since the plants have been in flower. WATER: July 3rd: ~750 - 1000 ml of 6.1 PH and 880 PPM. 15 ml/gal of Big Bloom 10 ml/gal of Grow Big 5 ml/gal of Tiger Bloom 5 ml/gal of Cal-Mag July 6th: ~1000 ml of 6.1 PH and 1120 PPM. 20 ml/gal of Big Bloom 15 ml/gal of Grow Big 10 ml/gal of Tiger Bloom 5 ml/gal of Cal-Mag July 7th: ~1000 ml of 6.1 PH - oxygenated water TEMP/HUMIDITY: A max of 84.8F and a min of 71.4F with an average of 79.7. VPD was pretty consistently in a tighter range with the average being around 1.41. Whole week numbers> Temp - 79.7F avg - 71.4F min - 84.8F max Humidity - 59.4% avg - 32.0% min - 81% max VPD - 1.41 avg - 0.53 min - 2.55 max CO2: Floating ball is between .5 and 1. This lets a more gradual amount of CO2 to enter the tent and I now get a more stable level of CO2 that fluctuates between around 1000 ppm and 1300 ppm. The regulator is still plugged into the same outlet as the lights so it turns off on the same light/dark schedule. PAR: PPFD between 300-1100. I got a legitimate par meter and now have a much better idea of how much light is being received on each plant. The tops of some plants are getting the 700-1100 range and some side leaves are getting in the 400-500 range. The new bulb gives off a lot of light and the plants have grown much closer to the bulb so some tips are getting a high PAR so they should make excellent use of the increased CO2. ISSUES: The plants are getting a lot bigger and taking more water per week. I removed some of the plants and moved them into a different tent to allow for enough room for them all to bush out and finish stretching. TECHNIQUES: I implemented a very small amount of LST throughout the week and removed only a few inner leaves(defoliation) to increase the light to some of the inner branches.

Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A | Week 4 Building Momentum Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype follows its own diary, allowing each plant to tell its own story while revealing the subtle genetic differences that make every seed unique. Week 4 has been all about momentum. The explosive growth we witnessed last week has continued, and the entire room is now beginning to transition from a collection of young plants into a true miniature forest. Every morning seems to reveal another noticeable change, with canopies becoming fuller, branches extending further, and the first signs that these plants are preparing for the flowering stretch ahead. One thing that made me smile this week was the environmental reading… 33.3°C and 63% humidity. Apparently the grow room decided to have a thing for the number three. 😄 While 33°C is certainly warmer than I’d normally aim for, the elevated humidity has helped keep the plants comfortable, and despite the warmer conditions the entire room continues to respond beautifully. Sometimes plants remind us that they can be a little more forgiving than we give them credit for—as long as every other parameter remains stable. ⸻ Week 4 Environment 🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% 💡 PPFD: 700–800 µmol/m²/s 🌱 Medium: Plagron Lightmix ? Growing Method: 12/12 From Seed One interesting development this week is the variation in PPFD across the room. The lighting itself hasn’t changed dramatically—instead, the plants have. Some phenotypes are simply growing faster than others, naturally moving closer to the LEDs and receiving around 800 PPFD, while the shorter plants remain closer to 700 PPFD. It’s another reminder that even under identical conditions, every phenotype follows its own timeline. ⸻ Feeding Strategy As the plants continue accelerating, the feeding program has started to evolve alongside them. Throughout the early weeks, the nutrient solution remained around pH 5.8, encouraging rapid nutrient availability while the young root systems established themselves. Now that those roots have colonized much more of each container, the strategy shifts slightly. This week the nutrient solution gradually moved closer to pH 6.1, while EC increased progressively throughout the week, finishing around EC 1.8. The recipe itself hasn’t changed dramatically. No bottles were suddenly doubled. No drastic increases were made. Instead, the nutrient ratios were simply nudged upward enough to match the plants’ increasing appetite. The difference is subtle inside the reservoir but very noticeable in how vigorously the plants continue to grow. Allowing the pH to drift slightly higher also opens access to a broader range of nutrients within the soil, helping the plants take advantage of their now much more established root systems as demand begins increasing. At this stage, the feeding philosophy remains exactly the same: Feed the plant—not the calendar. ⸻ Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A What can I say… This girl has quietly become one of those plants that instantly catches my attention every time I unzip the tent. Last week I mentioned how she had completely outgrown her slightly awkward beginning. This week she has gone one step further. She looks completely at home. Her overall structure is becoming incredibly balanced, with strong lateral branches beginning to establish themselves while the main stem continues pushing upward with confidence. The internodal spacing remains impressively tight, creating a compact architecture that feels both efficient and elegant. Looking from above, the canopy almost arranges itself. Large fan leaves radiate outward like carefully positioned solar panels, leaving the growing tips exposed without requiring any intervention. Every branch seems to know exactly where it wants to go. The new growth is particularly striking. Bright lime-green leaves emerge from the centre packed with energy before gradually darkening as they mature, creating that beautiful contrast that healthy, fast-growing plants often display. One of my favourite observations this week is just how relaxed she looks. Despite the warmer room temperatures and steadily increasing nutrient strength, there are no signs of stress. Leaves remain flat, praying gently toward the light throughout much of the day, while every new node arrives with confidence. She’s no longer simply growing. She’s beginning to express herself. Each passing day reveals a little more of her personality, and so far that personality can be summed up in one word: Consistency. She isn’t trying to be the tallest. She isn’t trying to grow the fastest. She’s simply building herself into a beautifully proportioned plant, one node at a time. If she continues along this trajectory, I have a feeling she’s going to become something very special by the time flowering is fully underway. ⸻ Looking Ahead The coming week should mark another important transition. With nutrient demand increasing, roots fully established, and several plants beginning to move naturally into higher PPFD levels, growth is expected to accelerate even further. Over the next week I’ll be paying particular attention to: • Stretch progression as flowering begins to establish itself. • Branch strength and canopy development. • Continued response to the higher EC. • Structural differences compared with her sister phenotype. • The first real signs of Blueberry Muffin’s flowering character beginning to emerge. I cleaned the roots this week with lots of tap water. The PPM drain was at 1100 and I lowered it to 550. Then I gave 1L of fertilized water at 850PPM to each plant. SuperSativaSeedClub Purple Punch OG Auto Week 1 of veg These 3 little ladies are growing good so far. Not really any action up top so one can assume all the energy is focusing on its root systems. They all are relatively the same size so far. I feed them 500ml's of just Ph'd water about everyother day. All in all Happy Growing and excited to see what's to come.

​✂️ : Déroulement de la Culture, Coupe et Séchage au #Dryrocket ​Note globale : 10/10 sans hésiter ! C'est la deuxième variété que je teste chez Growers Choice et je suis vraiment plus que satisfait du résultat. ​Retour sur le run ​Le cycle de cette plante a démarré sur les chapeaux de roue avec une croissance ultra-rapide et un stretch impressionnant. Ma principale difficulté au début a été de gérer sa grandeur fulgurante et le déploiement massif de ses innombrables branches secondaires. Le tronc principal s'est transformé en une véritable usine à branches (ce qu'on remarque bien sur la photo de la structure nue ​Malgré le fait que j'aie eu un peu de mal à la canaliser dans l'espace de la tente, et malgré quelques petites erreurs minimes de ma part, la plante a été d'une tolérance incroyable. Elle ne m'en a pas tenu rigueur une seule seconde et m'a récompensé avec des têtes bien dodues, compactes et remplies de résine. Côté arômes, elle dégage une odeur citronnée et sucrée vraiment divine et super agréable.. ​La séance de manucure ​La récolte et le nettoyage ont demandé une sacrée dose de patience : 8 heures de coupe intensives pour parer ces 487 grammes de fleurs et enlever toutes les petites feuilles. Un travail de titan, mais le résultat en valait la peine. ​Place au séchage intelligent ​Pour l'étape cruciale du séchage, les têtes ont rejoint la tente de séchage avec leurs feuilles, et c'est le Dryrocket qui prend le relais. ​Je commence à beaucoup mieux maîtriser l'appareil, qui tourne actuellement à plein régime. C'est un outil vraiment sympa et intuitif : ​Il affiche en temps réel la température et l'humidité de la tente. ​Il s'efforce de stabiliser et de réguler l'humidité cible à 62% (le taux parfait pour un séchage et un curing optimaux). ​L'indicateur "FAN" sur l'écran montre le moteur de l'appareil en fonctionnement et indique précisément à quel pourcentage de sa puissance il tourne. ​Enfin, le boîtier indique le temps restant de séchage et prévient lorsque l'ensemble est parfaitement stabilisé et prêt. ​C'est parti pour l'essai en conditions réelles, voyons ce que ce petit bijou de technologie nous réserve pour le résultat final ! ​Un grand merci à tous d'avoir suivi les aventures de "Bee Happy" ! à @DryRocket pour l'essai du Dryrocket On se retrouve très vite pour le smoke test et le verdict de pesée à sec après son passage au Dryrocket ! merci ❤️❤️

Week 5 flower frost starting to pile up

Es sind noch ein paar cm dazu gekommen und ich bin mit der Blütenentwicklung recht zufrieden. Der Bereich um die Blüten ist wundervoll bepudert. Das Wetter bleibt wechselhaft bis schlecht! Das Wetter bessert sich, leider habe ich einen massiven Befall von Trauermücken, Nematoden sind bestellt.

Esa familia, otra cosecha más, no tan contento esta vez la variedad en si está buena pero su cultivo es algo complicado y no está estabilizada la genética, los días de floración son más de 55 días como dice el banco,más de 3 meses de floración con estos ejemplares... Pero mereció la pena esperar el colocón es bastante fuerte, para mi que , sativa dominante a mi parecer, 24% de thc , cruzada entre cookies x OG Kush , muy productora en general. Así esto es todo , pronto más trabajos, buenos humos familia.

The stems are not that stable anymore, so buds are a little bit collapsing and i had to take care to bring her out i have put a few fishing pole pieces into the pot to keep her stable. After putting her back in the tent again, i had to support her a bit with a jojo last week and buds are now all collapsing on the weight. i don't mind 😂. i was allready began to flush , started this before the salt buildup ec runoff levels where rising so had to take care of that. Very sticky and smelling plant. very nice, I think Original Sensible Seeds has some real nice genetics and i'm greatfull they supplied their genetics for me, thanks for the confidence and see you next time when harvesting GG#4 auto by O.S. This is my first grow, felt like now is the perfect time to start. 😅 Picture 1 - The plants will have a 24h schedule with both sun and LED light. The solution with the cloth in front of the window is only temporary, I need something thats easy to pull up as soon as the sun comes out. My light is about 16in/37cm away from the plants, please let me know if its too close or too far away from the seedlings. Up until this point I germinated both the seedlings using one of those 'Easy Start' Kits with Microorganisms, I then just transplanted both plants with the soil still attached to them in the final pots. I am using Bio Bizz Light Mix for the soil. In about 1 week I will start adding the fertilizers, I will go with about half of what it says on the nutrient schedule because these are autoflowers. Picture 2 - Day 1 - Seedling number 1 is looking healthy. (I think?) As you can see I put a hygrometer next to it so I can monitor the Humidity and Temperature levels. I currently have a humidifier running next to the plants and humidity levels seem to be good so far. I read online between 65-80% are good at this stage. Picture 3 - Day 1 - Seedling number 1 again. At this stage I only water around the plant and dont soak the whole pot, I read that soaking the whole pot while the plant is this tiny can overwhelme the plants. I also noticed that the leaves look kinda yellow-ish? Please let me know if thats normal. Picture 4 - Day 1 - Seedling number 2. I need help with this one I dont know why but he doesnt look good, from the beginning he was much slower than plant 1 and when he finally popped out he looked like he was dying, he is kind of gaining a little bit of color now again but I dont know if he will make it. If you know whats wrong with him please let me know. I hope he opens his two little leafs soon. I still have a third seed laying around so please let me know if it'd be smarter to just abandone number 2 and germinate a new seed. Thanks for reading this far and I'll update as frequent as possible. Day 1 Issues Update - After taking a look at seedling number 2 again and seeing that after all this time it still didnt show any progress, I noticed that one of the two first leaves is actually cut. I mustve damaged it while inspecting earlier because I, (stupid newbie move), touched it too much or whatever. Now germinating my last seed in hopes that all goes well. Since I dont have anymore 'Easy Start' kits im going to try a different germination method, I will put the seed in a cup of water with a piece of cardboard on top of it overnight (12-15h) and then plant it into the moist soil afterwards. 😄 Picture 5 - Day 2 - Seedling 1 is still doing fine. In the morning the temperatures went up a lot (29 Celsius), due to the sun shining a lot through the window, and the seedling was showing slight signs of heat stress (Leafs going up and small yellow-is tint), I then opened the window and the Temperatures quickly dropped back to normal (20-23 Celsius). Moisture levels seem lower than yesterday and Im not sure why (probably because of the heat and opening the window?), still at a solid 62% tho so Im not too bothered. Picture 6 - Day 2 - Since my last Seedling 2 died I germinated another one, I put it in a glass of water over night (~15h) and then planted it into the soil. Hopefully it'll pop out in the next few days... 💪 Picture 7 - Day 3 - Everything looking good with Seedling 1, I kinda felt like it was sort of streching too much instead of growing its leaves, so I put the light closer to it. I will water again tomorrow, the last time I watered was when I put it in the soil 3 Days ago. Picture 8 - Day 3 - The new Seedling 2 is still germinating and will hopefully pop out of the soil in the next few days. Picture 9 - Day 4 - Seedling 1 still going strong, leaves are praying but I read that that is a good sign. I watered both pots again today with just Ph-water, will add fertilizer in about 3 days for seedling 1. Seedling 2 is still germinating, will post a new picture as soon as it pops out of the soil. 😉 Picture 10 - Day 5 - Seedling 1 looks healthy, but is going kinda slow. Turns out I had the light far too high... 😐 Pulled it as much down as I could now and its already growing better! Main indicator for not enough light was the stretching and the thin leaves. I will probably have to invest into a bigger setup as soon as flowering hits. ✊ Picture 11 - Day 6 - Seedling 1 leaves are getting bigger and the next set is already on the way. Picture 12 - Day 6 - After 4 days germination, seedling 2.1 finally popped out the soil! 👏 Picture 13 - Day 7 - Seedling 1 leaves seem a bit curled up, probably because of the hot sun this morning, Im not too worried tho. Will water with nutrients the first time tomorrow. Picture 14 - Day 7 - Seedling 2.1 looking fine, soil was pretty dry so I watered it a bit with ph water.
