I've been pulling the top small fan leaves to allow the side's to catch up. One plant is really tall and stretchy , One plant is very short and compact . The other 4 plants all look very similar to each other at this stage .

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Some significant yellowing a day apart from feeding. Did I give it a nutrition burn by changing the ratios of nutes? I probably should’ve done a flush before feeding.

This week since Monday most of the pistils (little hairs) have turned from white to brown and orange. I continue to remove leaves that are obstructing the flowers. When I look through the magnifying glass the trichomes are some 60% clear, 40% cloudy, 0% amber. The goal is to harvest with these values in the trichomes: 0% clear 90% cloudy 10% amber

Flowering started on day 28. I applied a topdressing once with Green House Feeding BioBloom at 1.5 grams per liter Soil. I’ll repeat that in the third week to reach the full dose of 3 grams per liter. I also discovered some thrips, so I reacted immediately by using small nematode sachetsboth on the plant and in the watering solution.

Pheno 1 has a more bushy appearance and Pheno 2 is lighter in color and more bud swelling at the tops.
