Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- Topped both plants, the bigger one, it is 3 days younger than the other, and seems to have faster development, more vigorous.. I think the reasons could be the pheno or the level of root development, i ll explain it : C#1 was in a yogurth as seen on photos and having all the sun. C#2 was in a wider recipient, lower in height, and in a room with poor light. I watered both plants at the same time, C#2 got curvy leaves when watered, i think maybe she likes near dry soil, or cant handle that level of humidity in the roots ... in my opinion she has less developed roots and the pot hadnt enought holes to let the air come in, the oposite of C#1, that seems to handle better humidity and is eating all she can, getting fluorescent green below sunlight. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Buds are getting bigger now and the smell is incredible. Looking forward to planting more at start of may full with nutrients this time to see the difference of yield.

Hello Diary. The first week of vegetation is behind me and for now all the plants are growing nicely on my little farm. I put the Fat Banana in the middle between the two Haze Berrys, I'll see how it fits her there. I started adding BioBizz on schedule for the first week of vegetation and p.H. I regulate with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. The temperature and humidity are satisfactory, so I no longer used a humidifier. Here's how the week went. 25/09/2020 - Day 1. Photography. Fat Banana is officially 1. day old. I mean by the first day when the plant gets the other two leaves. Then it is no longer sprout. Fat Banana - Day 1. - 5.5 cm Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.8 degrees and 52% humidity. 26/09/2020 - Day 2. Watering. First feeding. I regulated p.H. at 6.1 and added BioBizz's Root-Juice - 4ml / L, Bio-Heaven 2ml / L and Acti-Vera 2ml / L. Each plant received a liter of water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.9 degrees and 45% humidity. 29/09/2020 - Day 5. Watering. p.H. is regulated to 6.3 and I added BioBizz on a schedule for the first week. Like three days earlier. This time I watered with 1.5 lit. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.2 degrees and 45% humidity. 01/10/2020 - Day 7. Photography. The first week is officially behind us. Fat Banana is progressing nicely, although it lags a bit behind Haze Berry's roommate, but otherwise everything is cool. Fat Banana - 10 cm - Day 7. Last week ended with a little makeover for the girls—I defoliated about 30-40% of the leaves again. ✂️ The Gorilla decided to keep me on my toes by showing some nutrient deficiencies on her leaves—guess she didn’t get enough food after the flush. 🍌🌿 (Lesson learned: don’t keep a Gorilla hungry!) Now, let’s talk about Runtz! 😍 She’s an absolute queen—so photogenic that even my struggling phone can’t capture her real beauty. 📸✨ She’s forming into one giant, luscious bud, and her fragrance is something else entirely! 🕵️‍♂️ The carbon filter is fighting the good fight, but if the room isn’t aired out every 8-9 hours, a little aroma starts sneaking through. But opening the tent… oh, my friends, that’s where the magic happens! 🌬️💫 The aroma is intoxicating—imagine diving headfirst into a field of flowers while bees whisper secrets in your ears. 🌺🐝 I just sit there, enchanted, savoring the smell, and staring at these beauties like a hypnotized gardener. Hello everybody Harvest day here and just like last year I'm gonna make it a regular flowering week in the diary and in 3 weeks to a month I will come with the results. So the chop itself went pretty smooth. I removed al the FanLeaves, sugarleaves and already did a nice trim. Other years I tried different approaches but this seems the best. I cut away the main cola and some big buds below a few days sooner since they were absolutely done, the other buds I left on the plant to mature for a few days extra and then proceeded to completly trim her. Buds look great, Pretty dense and big and all the buds kinda have the same size. The main cola is also not that huge but very decent. Frosty as hell and with a huge smell in my opinion. U would think that this is the most fun part of a grow (it is actually 😂) but I hate harvest day because of the insane smell a plant produces. Anyway she's hung up to dry now with a ventilator and a much needed carbon filter. The Roots on the plant looks insane. Lots of root bound and she really used all the soil and the entire pot. The stem is pretty thick, more then other years. I'm happy so far but the real test comes in 3 weeks. I already Tried a few sample buds and the taste is nice, a bit spicy and herbal, exactly what a Jack Herer is described like. I can only hope that with a good dry and cure she becomes even better but these were just small sample buds, curious for the big ones 😁😅 Thanks a lot for following this journey. FD 30 : 5L water with PH ~6.5 1ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 1ml/l biobloom, 0,5ml/l calmag FD 33 : 5L water with PH ~6.3 2,5ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 2ml/l biobloom, 0,75ml/l calmag The leaves of all plants besides the top right are turning yellow, the top right plants leaves are getting deeper red every day. When opening the tent you get hit by this sweet, fruity scent :) I think the yellowish leaves are comming from nutrient deficiency. Since the PH should be in a fine spot now, I guess raising the nutrients should be the solution. If you have other thoughts on why the leaves turn yellowish, please tell me!
