Outdoor temperature up 15C. Indoors, in grow room, 5C up on last week. Epic week of growth - lush, green canopy. Finally understand the bouncing PH issue. Weird that no-one talks about it for the beginners. Your DWC needs daily attention. In any 24hr period, the PH rises from 5.5 to 6.5, and must be brought down again with PH Down. Thus in any one day the roots span PH=5.5-6.5 and are capable of absorbing a range of nutrients, which are absorbed into the plant at various different PH levels. Currently feeding 13l pot with 5-10ml of Ionic Hydro Bloom daily (EC=1050-1150), 5-10ml of Liquid Oxygen daily, 1l of water daily. On Sundays, they also get 15ml of Liquid Silicon. PH adjusted daily. No sign of buds developing yet.

Week 2 & 3 Veg Report: Runtz Battle 🌿🔥 Hey, green enthusiasts and fellow growers! 🌱✨ We’re diving into weeks 2 and 3 of our Runtz Battle, and it’s been a thrilling ride! From transplanting to new pots to experimenting with nutrient setups, there’s a lot to cover. Let’s dive into the details and celebrate the progress of our green champions! Week 2 Progress 🌟 In the second week, our Runtz plants showed tremendous growth and resilience. Here’s a snapshot of what’s been happening: • Growth Surge 🚀: • Both Runtz strains exhibited rapid growth with robust stems and lush foliage. Their healthy, vibrant green leaves are a testament to their thriving condition. • Leaf Development 🌿: • New leaves are expanding, and the plants are absorbing nutrients efficiently, laying a solid foundation for future development. Transplant to Final Pots 🌱✨ We’ve made a significant upgrade by transplanting our Runtz plants into their final 15L Autopots. Here’s the scoop on the transplant: • New Home 🌟: • The Runtz plants have been moved to spacious 15L Autopots, providing ample room for their roots to expand. This upgrade ensures they have the space to thrive and reach their full potential. • Soil and Nutrients 💧: • We’re using Pro Mix Mycorrhizae soil, which is rich in beneficial microbes and nutrients. To boost the soil’s fertility, we added 75 grams of Aptus All-in-One pellets, a touch of MycoMix, and a touch of MicroMix. This mix ensures a strong, healthy start with balanced nutrition and enhanced root development. Week 3 Progress 🌿💚 In week 3, the plants have absolutely loved their new environment and are showing remarkable growth: • Transplant Success 🚀: • The Runtz plants have adjusted beautifully to their new pots. They’re thriving, with enhanced growth and vitality, ready to take on the next phase. • Autopots Activation 🌟: • We’re now plugging in the Autopots and letting gravity do its thing. This efficient watering system ensures our plants receive consistent hydration with minimal effort. • Nutrient Strategy 🌿: • With the soil rich in biolife and nutrients, we’ll be focusing on using only Regulator and CaMg Boost in the reservoir from now on. The plan is to test if these organic inputs, combined with the soil’s inherent nutrients, can sustain our plants through their growth cycle. LED Lighting & Climate Control 🌟🌡️ To support our Runtz plants, we’re using top-of-the-line equipment: • Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro 💡: • This powerful LED light provides full-spectrum illumination, ensuring our plants get the optimal light they need for vigorous growth. The compact design and high efficiency make it perfect for our setup, promoting healthy and even canopy development. • TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller 🌡️: • The TrolMaster Hydro-X is our go-to for precise climate control. With its 3-in-1 sensor, it monitors temperature, humidity, and light intensity, allowing us to maintain the perfect growing environment. This advanced controller ensures our plants stay in their ideal conditions, enhancing growth and overall health. The Excitement Ahead 🌱💚 As we move forward, we’re excited to see how our Runtz plants respond to their new environment and nutrient strategy. This experiment with organic soil and minimal added nutrients is sure to provide valuable insights and showcase the resilience and adaptability of our plants. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this green adventure! V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the 🌱! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?

Greetings from Russia my comrades! Thanks to all those who read me and support. I'm free, and that means that everything is fine and my little farm continues to grow. You know that I decided to grow for experiments parent plant and made him a bunk pot with his hands from a plastic Cup and bottle. Next, I plan to put it in a huge 90 liter construction tank. I want it to be a real tree! After I put a Cup with a plant in a bottle of 5 liters, it adapted and took root. After that, I gave her root stimulants and a working solution. She has derailed many new powerful roots and significantly has increased in growth. I removed five pairs of vegetative leaves from the Central stem, so that they do not block the light to the side branches. The plant is very cheerful, develops steadily.

Her aroma is suuper citric and strong, beautiful strain to grow and very strong purple color, she's not gonna produce too much but like every girl in my garden she's gonna give top quality purple buds, the flowers are very sticky and frosty, can't wait to try her, she's got the exact same aroma as her sisters. So will see how she ends up performing on this diary peace 🌱💚✌️

Week 4 continue to spray every other day with foliar IPM (mix of RO water, Organishield, EM-1). Clones transplanted from 1 gallon plastics to 3 gallon fabric bags. Soil medium a mixture of Nature's Living Soil w/FF Ocean bottom third of bag. Remaining medium is a mixture of FF Happy Frog and Light Warrior, perlite, and Mykos Xtreme (mycorrhizal root inoculant). Watered with RO water, FF cal/mag, EM-1 microbial inoculant, drops of balance, and recharge. PPFD between 400-600 with SF-2000 light 12" above w/dimmer set at 50%. Additional Note: Transplanted a Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seeds) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from dixie cups to 1 gallon plastic containers. Transplant medium consists of FF Happy Frog, Light Warrior, Perlite, and Mykos Xtreme mycorrhizal root inoculant. 1 gallon girls set 20" below lights. PPFD between 300-320. Plan is to eventually move 3 of the 3 gallons to a 3x3 AC Infinity tent with 4" AC fan w/carbon filter under a Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 300 watt LED. The remaining three will continue in current 2x4.

Not much to report from this week. More pistils came out every day. They're long and smell great. She drank half the res over the week but the pH and ppm stayed stable so I just left it. July 25 I took the duct tape off one of the stems that broke when my fan fell. It healed with a huge knuckle and looks great. One of the other big stems looks like it also has a big knuckle and is growing strong. Some of the smaller ones look like they've regained their integrity but didn't get a knuckle. They are all able to stand up straight now and the plant looks much happier. I'm leaving one wire support in place because of one of the thinner stems. July 27 I just noticed the upper leaves are a bit brittle. I should take it down and observe it more often I turned the fan to point away from the plant and the leaves recovered.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.
