2 days into this week I started to notice that the temperature outside was getting warmer at night. So I decided to do a all nighter and see how many plants did thorough the night. First thing I found out was that I'm to old for that shit lol damn was it hard. Anyways a few hours into the night I noticed the tent was getting hot. 27.8c was were it was staying at. So I turned the cob lights off for a bit and let the temp come down. Also noticed some shit was going on with my brain cake tent so I decided to take the SF-2000 Spider-Farmer out of it and swap out the COB light for it. After that the temp stayed around 25.6c for the rest of the night. After doing the leaf strip everything grew back within a few days (as you can see). One of my Kmintz plants wasn't consuming the water in its pot as fast as the others so I let it dry out a bit (48 hours) before I gave it another feeding. The Tarantula Genetics Platinum OG Punch Breath is a impressive plant so far. Excited to see what she looks like in the end. Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Got my seed on Friday 22nd last week soaked and germinated in two days I placed in soil 24th first leaves on the 26th and today is the 28th haven't used any nutrients not sure if I will but I made some organic bat poo tea and I'll be feeding her with this .....

This week I topped 6 plants, pinched 9, & left 5 alone. I still know some will be male so I'm looking closely every day to see the 1st signs. I moved the 12-14 inch plants away from. The middle light and I noticed 1 of the 14 inch plants has started to root through the fabric 2 gallon.

Just cruising along. Not sure why some look like they will be very tiny, but at least one looks like it will be of a decent size.

May 24th : Went on a mini vacation and came back to my girls just growing strong!! wooo! can't wait to see these girls just explode as i'm flipping them to flower tonight! I'll be adjusting their nutrients soon and logging that as well! Tonight I just did a plain water / flush on the girls. Going to slowly lower the lights down to probably around 12 - 14 inches and try to keep it at around that height for the rest of the grow! It blows my mind how quickly these things have shot up.. Guess they don't call it weed for no reason!! P.S. The brackets i'm using to hold up my fans are actually an Ikea Wine bottle holder that my wife had, I cut it into three pieces cleaned it all up and zip tied it to the pole. Then hung the fans from the top of the tent with a quick adjust light rope. Now all I gotta do is push the fan up or down to where I want and tighten the light rope! works great!! May 25th : Got a new little Hanging bulb for in the tent that I can move around for pictures. I'm thinking i'm going to pick up another but it sure helped with the overexposed photo's! Can't believe how much they shot up over their first night at 12/12. This is going to be insane! May 26th : Opened the tent to pretty much all the girls praying! Sadly I must have miss watered the front right one. Oh well Soaked her good I'm sure she will be rocking again in no time.. Stretched them out a bit more after the photo's. I think maybe only a few more days of really finishing the LST with the scrogg net. May 27th : Welp even after lst and bending the hell out of these girls after last night's photo, they are showing no signs of slowing down! It's beautiful! Had to move my lights up about 5 inches as they shot up so close! May 28th : I am officially done with all lst and hst training and i'm gonna let them grow wild! Going to do another 1/3 str veg nute feeding tonight it will be their last veg feeding from this point on i'll be onto the flowering cycle of nutes. I plan on starting all Flower nutes at 1/2 strength and ramp up according to how the girls respond. Saw my first signs of Budding tonight Sorry for the overexposed pic on it but I realized it after the lights came on! I'll take more close ups tomorrow! (edit: changed my mind! decided to just go ahead and start all the flowering nutes also! will update log) May 29th : Not a whole lot to report, had to move my fans up as the girls were growing dangerously close. It's amazing to see this stretch, and to imagine it's hardly even started! May 30th : Opened my tent up to an explosion of growth. Humidity levels were way higher than what I wanted due to lack of air movement through and under the canopy. Decided it would be best to Get to the Lollipopping tonight. Put up some before and after pics of our crazy lollipopping adventure! Can't help but feel like I just mutilated the hell out of them.. Hope I didn't take to much!🙏 Guess we will find out!
