I wasn’t around much this week so there aren’t as many pictures. I regret not having much time as I had/have (not sure at the moment there are no more new white spots popping up) a thrips infection which I tried to correct with some organic insecticides and Neem oil which I always used in the past but completely neglected with this grow and am paying the price now. I haven’t encountered thrips or any other bug before but with a higher number of plants in one box and the fact that I was to lazy to clean my box after the last grow may be the cause of this now.

70 days from seed!!! wow I just confirmed once again that Zamnesia seeds are not bad :) the girl is growing really well despite the lack of space, high humidity, the girl just ignores all this and does not pay much attention to it and focuses all her energy on the maturation of the flowers, which are really very stiff ;) Plagron nutrients also worked flawlessly throughout her growth, this is my first growth with these nutrients :) I am happy that they are there, I will definitely use them in the future :) well, there is not much left until the harvest, Good luck to everyone in the competition and in your cultivation :).

This week the buds have fatten up some more and the production of thc was clearly visible in the trichomes. On the last day of this week I did a check and I saw a lot of them where turning cloudy, half cloudy with a few amber ones. I guess another 2 weeks at max and I'll be harvesting. The fungus gnats where a real pest during this run. So I've placed a drosera capensis(carnivorious plant) in the growroom and she hasn't eaten this much since I got here a year ago. Should have done this weeks ago... This weeks menu for the Pineapples: Day 1 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.6) Day 4 → Dry Day 5 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients. 16 ml Terra Bloom, 4 ml Sugar Royal, 4ml Power Buds and 4 ml Green Sensation was added to 5 liter (1.32 gallon) of tapwater (ec 1.77 – ph 6.6) Day 6 → Dry Day 7 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.46– ph 6.5) The cobs are now at 45 cm (17.7 inch) with 320 watt → DLI 43/PPFD 995 This will be the maximum power for this run. Bueno familia ya finalizamos, estas red hot cookies son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.

The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

Juli 26: begining of week 10

Week 4! We've had some really strong wind and sun here, which I now know is a good thing lol. I love this stage because she's basically in kaleidoscope mode with the leaves. Still no sign of preflowering, but I believe I detect a faint citrusy scent. I was spoiled by starting with Pineapple Expresses, which smell absolutely amazing and then got bamboozled by a Zkittlez that is just so very dank. So I'm happy this one seems to be living up to its name and smells a bit orange-y. I don't know how to add biotabs to the nutrients section on here because it's set up for liquid nutrients I think, but I added two BAC biotabs (https://www.dutch-headshop.eu/bio-tablets-soil-improver-bac-12-pieces) to the soil at 13 days from seed and won't be adding anything else than watering some Bud Candy once she starts to flower. Otherwise, I'm watering the cloth pot when it feels light.

Week five has arrived. So far so good she is doing great and smelling dank.👌👌👌👍

This is what's left in the tent, the gelato is comin down tonight and maybe the 2 smaller lemon aks maybe tmm. The cream cookies and other lemon AK will come down soon too and then I can get some pics. The pineapple and blue dream get 1 more flush

En moins d'une semaine, la plante a presque doublé de taille, passant d'un stade de jeune pousse à une structure végétative robuste et bien établie. ​📊 État de Santé & Mesures ​Taille actuelle : 20 cm. ​Vigueur : La croissance est exponentielle. On observe un développement foliaire dense avec des pales bien larges, caractéristiques de la Mac 1, et une structure qui reste compacte malgré la prise de hauteur. ​Feuillage : Le vert est profond et uniforme. La plante semble parfaitement assimiler les nutriments du mélange Biotabs. ​⚙️ Paramètres de Culture ​Lumière : Intensité maintenue à 75%. La distance a été ajustée à 90 cm de la canopée pour accompagner sa montée en puissance tout en évitant le stress lumineux. ​Climat : Stable (24°C jour / 21°C nuit) avec une humidité autour de 50%. ​Arrosage & Système : * L'arrivée d'eau du système Autopot est toujours coupée. ​L'objectif est de laisser le substrat s'aérer et de favoriser une recherche racinaire active avant la prochaine remise en eau. ​ Nutrition & Entretien (Le 28/04) ​Apport spécifique : Application manuelle de 1g de Bactrex dans 1 litre d'eau. ​Objectif : Booster la vie microbienne du sol et renforcer le système racinaire au moment où la plante entre dans sa phase de croissance la plus gourmande. ​Observation : Pas de signes d'asphyxie racinaire ; le contrôle de l'eau manuel permet de bien gérer la transition avant de repasser en mode totalement autonome. ​📝 Analyse ​La structure est exemplaire : les entre-nœuds restent serrés, ce qui annonce une plante buissonnante avec un fort potentiel de sites de floraison. L'utilisation du Bactrex hier va donner le coup de fouet nécessaire pour soutenir cette accélération. No panic moves. Why we changed nothing (and why that’s not doing nothing) Your room conditions: • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers would panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the key difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding: Under LED, leaf temperature ≠ room temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. So while the wall sensor says 28 °C, the leaf surface is usually 2–4 °C cooler. And the plant does not “feel” the room — it feels its own leaf temperature. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. ⸻ Leaf VPD — the part most people skip VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is simply the difference between how much moisture the air can hold and how much it actually holds. But here’s the nuance most charts miss: • Room VPD is calculated with room temp • Leaf VPD is calculated with leaf temp So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf = ~24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 our leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants are confirming that with their behavior: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no praying too hard • Internodes strong and structured • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s the real data. We’re not ignoring numbers We’re letting the plant be the final authority. Stability here beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ Defoliation — why this time was heavier Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, light penetration, humidity pockets all scale differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t “ask” for leaves to be removed — but the room does. Why you defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Allow photons to travel deeper, not just hit the roof • Reset apical dominance and refocus energy on flowering sites Yes — i went harder than originally planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Plants are healthy • Root zone is dialed • Feed is stable Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are the first category. And importantly: we didn’t stack stress. No feed change. No environment change. No light shock. That’s how we “go hard” safely. What to expect next week (and what not to expect) Expect: • Slight pause as plants redirect energy • Fresh flower site definition • Upright posture returning after defoliation • Strong tops responding to improved light access Do NOT expect: • Explosive vertical stretch (that window is closing) • Deficiency symptoms (unless something external changes) • Need for immediate correction Next week is observation week again. Thought id take pictures as video isnt the best Removed a blue sherbert out as it had some issues, low yielder, top randomly died. Also on one of sundae punch the top died as i was moving Found out my double Ds plant was a male moved her out for a week in a 24hr tent to slow its growth, back in 12 12 soon. End of week 5 photos. Harvest time expected to finish september 13th

12/11/2021 - held in a glass of filtered water for 24 hours and then used the paper towel method for 48 hours. Seeds planted today in 6 litre pots to germinate before being moved to 15 litre pots on week 3 of veg. high humidity this week - 70% - and 100ml of filtered water every other day. 16/11/21 - all 9 have broken the soil and are stretching slightly to the light 20/11/21 root juice

All going well now, just lowered my setup by 35cm to gain more space for the ladies... also now my reservoir is below the cabin instead of inside, so much cooler water now (in fact I had to pace a heater to avoid temperature below 18˚C)
