I started germination of 3 Crystal Candy fv beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! This is my first look at this variety so I have no background information on experience for this one. But I will get some from this grow, and if shes blessed. There could be a second run in the future.

Day 35. Last week top dressed with a cup each of Craft Blend & Build a flower. The stretch continues. Lights also switched to 12/ 12 to initiate flower on the Gush Mints clone

This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

Day 85 Day 50 Flower Friday 17/05/24 She seems to have exploded since I sorted the temps. The tops seem to be swelling again normally, fox tailed to shit at very tops but all under are nice and swelling up more. Last Feed today. Day 87 Day 52 Flower 19/05/24 - Sunday. Water today with calmag She really has recovered well, that 1 week of stress really did her dirty for tox tailing. But, she has recovered and now has fist sized nuggets forming everywhere. She is a beast 💪💚 Day 89 Day 54 Flower - pH water , 5l 2.2l run off. Day 90 Day 55 flower 22/05/24 - Wednesday So I'm debating, chopping her at end of this week, or trying to allow another week just to ripen further, all depends on my tre lime auto for space. She looks ready, all trichomes cloudy with tiny partial amber's showing. I would love to see more amber as I like my smokes to be sleepers.

One of the plants was damaged during the main lining I broke a brunch and it was transformed into a LST plant, the other one that was proceeding straight without techine was worked with topping at the 5th internode and LST on the other branches left below. Comparison is the salt of experience so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently. Added nutes on 10/17, 30ML of Fox farm organic big bloom and 4ML of Fish shit to one gallon and fed them all that entire gallon. 10/20 Couple days after the nutes and they exploded!

We have +30 heatwave in UK, i live in attic , so for 4 more days everything will be out of control. Watered today. 6.3 phed water. I love simple and affordable Mars Hydro products, if you can cope with heat TSL2000 can do magic in your tent ! Will update after heat wave us over. Should be in 4 days back to +20 ;))) Day 45. They GROW !!!! Distance is insanly small, but i have 30 cm of space left, wont move light for a week, then i will try to have 20 cm at least again. Planing last top up, need two more waterings before it, so it should be on last day of this or first of next week. Thinking to take down all LST at that time, need pots to breath better, too thin fabric, they dont keep form. Day 47. Drink every two days !!! 4 liters goes to nothing !!! Huge, still streching, tops almost rubbing TS2000, heat 30 inside, humidity 65-68 ..... will need heavy clearing again !!! Most stacked Cookie i ever grew, fills in very nice !!! Happy Growing !!!!

Another week and another update in this adventure! :D So far I think things have been going well with Puff, the buds are getting fatter (or that's what I think!) and every day she's getting more and more "frosty" and smelly! 👽 Not everything was great this week tho, I think my plant is going thru something and I'm not quite sure what's the cause. I check/adjust the pH and I try to use water with low ppm... so my only option is that I underfed her when she was growing (or maybe what's happening is just normal and I'm overreacting) and these are the results! Week 4-(Day 29) She has recovered from my transplant disaster. The combination of that, and the feeding I had given her was a lot of stress all at once, and it shows on some of her leaves that were damaged. However, she has recovered quite nicely, and has grown into her light quite a bit this week. I haven’t done anything other than leaf tucking. I kept her damaged leaves on as once she corrected herself, no further spread is noticeable. I’ve got a bigger 6x4x7 tent setup, and am gathering all the necessary components to keep a perpetual grow happening. Looking at the Smart -8 from Medic Grow, amazing value (still pricey) for the footprint it makes! Any ideas on how to convince my wife to let me buy a 1000 dollar💡? Lol 😆
