Hi all , hope we are all well and safe?. Day 7: Lets start the update with the new configuration. Using the new sp3000 on tje recovering mft tank cant ne useful at all so i have now put the 2 L.O.S FFT girls directly under this and used the sp250 as an extra side lighting to them too. It still catches the NFT and FFT#8 with plenty of par but the main focus can now be put into creating big framed lower plants with more than enough light to assist. After the stretch period ends , i am going to defol and get them in their final position for bud stacking. This will open the canopy even wider for light to penetrate. FFT#8 is nice and green but still tiny even after a week of stretching. Her root damage and recovery have ruined any chance of really seeing the best from this tester bit as ssheje looks so happy , i will continue with her. FFT#9 Is a monster in comparison to #8 and with only 2 weeks and a bout of root rot between them is impossible to believe. Her limbs are solid under the canopy with a great structure to build buds on. She measures approx 2.5ft across her width now and has a lot of very healthy stacking growing tips. Each one is like a mini version of a plant itself and should produce some very nice buds stacks. She is giving out a weedy fruit smell now too and along with her hairy tips , looks close to her stretch ending. I saw the bract hairs and odd white pistil from around day 3 of flipping which show their quick flowering genetics so well. Seeing other FFT#9 grows gives me a great boost to what this strain can do. For a new grower it would be simple to grow and very responsive to care and training too. FFT#10 This lady is the only dark , broad leaved girl in thebhouse amd is growing with longer node spacing tjan the others . she want to keep going vertical and has really shown some growth during the stretch desoite her supercropping. She will benefit from the defol at day 21 and be opened up more to catch all her lower growth too. She looks and feels so healthy up close and hwr lower pot growth is solid for a foundation. I woukd like to see this strain grown natural , i bet it would be huge without being held down. Be well and safe growmies. Until next week. Peace and love

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Still on point. Starting to get things dialed in after a big new move. Started 2 more lemon Zkittles 2 Cinderella Jacks and 2 more Think Different. Love DUTCH Passion! Pots are full of lime, earthworm castings (Lots) feather meal fish meal phosphorus... starting to smell. A buddy grew lemon skittles (Kix) and does it stink. Love it.

06/11/20 - New arrivals this week. Firstly a new InkBird with dual timer settings so I can get it cooler at night - going to get some beautiful colours this run. Also have a new Raspberry Pi to monitor remotely and take time lapses! And last but by no means least - Fred, Guardian of the Ganja! 07/11/20 - Slight defoliation getting them ready for the flip. 08/11/20 - They've bounced back and are ready for the flip!

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. La planta viene bien, salvo que los brotes del medio tienen un color distinto a los de las 4 puntas principales, pero muy linda planta sin deficiencia ni excesos por el momento, resinando mucho y formando los cogollos, 08/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (50% de osmosis + 50% del grifo) + 2 ml de cal mag + 1 gramo/L de bioenhancer de green house feeding. PH: 6.3 EC:1.0 11/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (2,5 litros de osmosis + 0,5 L del grifo) + 2,5 ml de cal mag, PH: 6.4 EC: 0.7. se hace una medición de escorrentía y salió con EC:1.8 PH: 6.3. Luego del riego se aplico en el sustrato 0,5 Litros de agua + 1.5ml de BioNeem + 1,5 ml de bioprotect ambos productos de namaste nutrientes para combatir los pulgones de raiz. Proximo riego con enzimas. 14/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (50 osmosis 50 grifo) más 1,6 ml x L de zym de treemix pro + 2 ml x L de top bloom de top crop. PH: 6.4 EC: 1.5
