I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

Hey Cannafam, Horray the suns been out this week and my gals been soaking up some rays most of the week, apart from today and yesterday wheres its been raining. Shes now started flowering and smell has noticibly increased, i may have to move her again soon as when it increases more she may be noticed as i know this one is strong on odour! Ive managed to get another feed in her this week and although shes still not a great colour shes recovering nicely 😊 I have however had to pluck a few leaves due to leaf miners so hopefully they dont spread! Apart from that shes had good growth and really happy that this gal is bouncing back for me. Thats all for now, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Started LST on my girls. Maybe a bit early but I think there is enough time for them to stretch even more.

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. 2 choc mints are looking very nice thickening up nicely. Smell is unreal. Gorilla nugs are very white and full of trichs however not as dense as the choc mint. The choc mint buds are extremely dense i would be careful with temp and humidity as there is definitely potential for mould due to sheer size and denseness. 2 different phenos of choc mint both really nice but one has stretched slightly more and and has more crown buds.

Hello This is the end of week 13 and the beginning of week 14 of veg. I didn't report last week because I was still harvesting the 13 plants of Captain Future. Put the last plant in the curing bags last night. I'll be switching over to flowering either tonight or tomorrow by taking out the lights and opening the tent at 8 am and closing it at 8 pm. Each plant is getting 2 gallons of rainwater for now. Still lots of compost in the pots for food for them. But I'll be mixing up some flowering solution to put in the 15 gallon reservoir and giving each plant a few minutes each day. It will last for 6 days and I'll clean and mix some new nutrient on the seventh day. I'll hand water when the pots seem dry. Each plant has filled their space now and it's time to flower. OK. The overall cycle had to deal with alot of heat issues and lighting so what they did product is certainly top quality flowers just short on there stretch period so will run again to make a certain opinion but as of now no hermis and all seeds flowered apart from one tiny plant 10 girls all to harvest shows stable genicitic traits from these girls also , height , bud structure colour shape smell all seem to be closer to a match of each other

She has grown large compared to the other plant in the Athena. They do have a very common bud structure, and smell. I think it was just 2 different phenom types. I switched her to ph water yesterday. I will be harvesting her in roughly a week for the next update. She has a good cloudy trichrome percent with just a few Amber's here, and there. So it's time to finish her up.
