01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Pineapple Express leaves are all losing color at this point, she’s getting close. Not sure how much longer to let this one go... she’s on day 57. Online recommended harvest date says day 55-65. Trichomes appear cloudy to me already but she’s shooting new white pistils everyday. The bud that was pollinated appears to be the most done. Its sugar leaves are beginning to yellow. The other buds seem a few weeks behind this one, I’m still trying to wait so the seeds fully develop. I don’t want to chop her too soon and not have fully developed seeds. The other buds I am trying tic heck trich’s on. Berry white is chugging along still, it’s still not as far along as the others but appears to be more frosty even though she’s a small plant. Looking forward to seeing how she develops further... I suspect the buds on that plant to be very tight. Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👩‍🌾🏼 🌱

Hey today last day... Baby is through.. it was scrubbed a bit by the hail on wednesday... I'll cut them off whole and hang them up in a cool place. Next time harvest day... I've already eaten strawberries.. it smells very good. smoke sample was made, was able to dream/sleep wonderfully chilled for an hour. Very relaxed and calm turn++ not so good: extremely dry mouth after getting up + throat... Taste light and pleasant smell strong.. All in all, I would recommend but rather indoor

This week I continued to water using the Coast of Maine Squid Concentrate. I also added a DIY CO2 Generator. The plants are still much smaller than they should be due to early mistakes. Fortunately, I've learned a lot and am seeing good flower development this week. A huge thank you to @MalumProhibitum for offering some terrific advice on my grow. What a great member of this community.

Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Going to start feeding GHE CALiMAGic 2.5ml per gal, and Floraflex V1+V2 at a 1:1 ratio of 1.5 grams per gallon PH 6.1 daily. Also adding a CO2 generator in hopes to promote vigorous growth early on since this is supposed to be a quicker flowering stain. Growers Recharge will be applied once a week on Saturdays from here on out.

I was very surprised at the remarkable growth of both plants. Tree 1 gives me a clear view of the superiority of height compared to the previous week. The copper buds clearly show the enormous size, I am trying to increase the amount of nutrition to promote the maximum growth in size and taste.

Getting close!! Chopped a bunch of used up leaves off, took some microscope shots yesterday, got a boom arm coming so I don't have to rely on my steady hand for the microscope shots but still looks cloudy/clear w/o an amber to be seen when looking at the trichomes as of Monday. Pistils are still mostly white but rapidly advancing. Fastbuds advertises a chop day between 63 and 70 so we're in the window and heading in the right direction. A chop before the end of the week is possible.
