Big week this week! Fed the plants about 40gal of compost (5gal worm casting and 35gal lobster compost) plus all the amendments listed above in those rough ratios. I cut down all the cover crop and removed my straw mulch layer. I then added about 2.5gal of my feed to each of my pots. Covered in the cut down cover crop and straw and watered everything in very well. I'm guessing it'll take only 3 weeks for the plants roots to completely take over what I added. Additionally this is the first week I sprayed BT. The OG kush are finishing up their second week of flower and the stretch has diminished but the buds are setting in! Time to spray these girls down! The early lemon berry and grandpas stash are close behind. I'd say they are about 1 week behind the kushes so they're just starting the second week. The stretch for the early lemon berry is very strong. It's all tied up in the trellis net by now so it has been diminished somewhat The grandpas stash is barely stretching....gonna be some massive fat buds. Hopefully they don't mold!

As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest — equally stunning in structure and expression — turned out to be males. 🌿 💚 Let’s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. It’s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice — and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isn’t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as “bananas” in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers we’re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds — great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males? Start of week 5. - She has not started flowering just yet but i expect her to bloom late in this week or early in the next. - Height=20 cm - Width=42cm 30/01-2024 - Day 29 - Watered 2l ( mixed 4ml of grow-bloom-top & calmag with 2l water) 01/02-2024 - Day 31 - She has started getting taller and have reached about 25 cm today. 03/02-2024 - Day 33 - Watered 1,5L (mixed 3ml of grow bloom top with 1.5 l water ) - Height= 28 cm - Width=45cm - 8 "floors"-16 side branches. Her stem and bottom branches look thick, able to carry water and nutrients to the future buds. Gotta love them thick fertile hips 😍 04/02-2024 - Day 34 - Pre-flower has sprung out all over the plant now and she looks like she just started flowering - i went through all her side branches gently bending the lower big leaves below the bud carrying branches, making sure no budcarrying branches would be held down by other branches. 05/02-2024 - Day 35 - Last day of the week. she has grown a couple of centimeters the past couple of days and have reached 31 cm height. She looks a little crispy on the tips so i might give her a light dosage og fertilizer tomorrow instead of the expected dosage.

Nochmal ein kleines Update in Form eines Videos. Bisher ist alles gleich geblieben, gleiches Licht, gleich gedüngt, gleich gegossen. Bin schon mega gespannt wie das Endergebnis aussehen wird.

Willkommen in Woche 4 der vegetativen Phase! 🌱 Die Ladys haben das Umtopfen in die großen 14L-Töpfe sehr gut verkraftet – sie sehen gesund aus und entwickeln sich prächtig! Momentan gieße ich alle zwei Tage etwa 4 Liter auf alle Töpfe verteilt. Ich nutze dabei einen Drucksprüher, was sich bei meinem Canna-Koko-Erde-Mix absolut bewährt hat. Das Substrat bleibt gleichmäßig feucht und die Wurzeln scheinen es zu lieben! Ein kleines Thema aktuell: die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Aufgrund der Temperaturen ist die Luft recht trocken – ich überlege, den Luftbefeuchter wieder in Betrieb zu nehmen 😄 Allerdings zeigen die Pflanzen bislang keine Anzeichen von Stress, also scheint alles noch im grünen Bereich zu sein. Ich bin mir noch etwas unsicher, wie lange ich die Vegi-Phase dieses Mal laufen lassen möchte. Bald werde ich jedoch mit dem LST (Low Stress Training) beginnen, um die Struktur der Pflanzen optimal auf die Blüte vorzubereiten. Bis dahin – happy growing! 🌿

Things went as normal this week. I didn't water or feed the girls since i have been sick lately, all I did was push them back under their net. Sometimes their stems pop/snap but i don't worry anymore, the next day they recover nicely. (its more like an internal pop i hear) The weather isn't as sunny as I would like yet, but i can't do much about that. With all the foliage bug hunting has been reel tough, although I found a baby cutworm witch i quickly eliminated. slow and steady the girls keep climbing I just manage the light space 4 them. I only go in on the weekends 4 their training and that seems to be good enough. The girls in the back are just exploding, compared to the others. I dont know if maybe some good soil back there or just some magic beans. Maybe because they are closest to their nightlight?

The plants are doing quite well so far, but one is much bigger than the other. At first, I thought it was due to genetics. However, I'm starting to suspect that it might be my fault—specifically the frozen water bottle I use to regulate the reservoir temperature. If I don't use the ice bottles, the temperature rises above 22°C, but I think the roots of the smaller plant might be getting a cold shock. I’ve already learned a lot from this project that I will do right from the start in my next DWC grow 🙂

My A/C has been not really working and it’s getting in the 90s outside not sure if it’s stunting it but have been trying to keep as much airflow as possible I have a fan below and above the canopy and the inline on 6-7 with no carbon filter or ducting right on top of the tent hoping it will be enough o keep the mold away

Strawberry Cadillac – STRNG Seeds W9 01/04-10 These strawberry collection gals are growing steady during this early stretch. I gave water only last week to contain the stretch. I also turned the lights down to 80%. Other than Cadillac1 all the plants look the same so I tied ribbons to the pots as identifiers for pictures. Kitties lost interest in my leaves, now is play with the pipe cleaners. I’ll have to tighten them up as I found one on the grow room floor. Strawberry Cadillac -Purple Straw-Trop Cherry-Red Straw-Lectric Lemonade-Yellow. 01/05 Supercrop Last week I indicated I might supercrop Cadillac1 since she is so tall. Well, you will see pics during the process of bending the stem and taping the position. I pinched the stem in my fingertips and rolled it a bit, then bent the stem, (notice the outer casing is not broken) applied tape to the joint to keep the branch from completely bending over. Each side had at least 3 nodes. 1/06 the side nodes on the branches have turned up and made more tops. All gals show the beginning of white hairs identifying they are female. 1/9 Strawberry Cadillac #1 46” #2 37“ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 24” #2 41” Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 33” #2 35 A side note: I’m taking applications for Spring & Summer cabana boy (girls allowed to apply, no discrimination here) positions when I go to the beach. Our Blue Dream by Zamnesia is a main-lined beauty, not very tall but very effective in my opinion. It has just started flowering but judging by its little sister that has been flowering for two weeks before... we will see some beautiful things. ** Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. Here the straight plant has let itself go free and beautiful and is thanking us very well by giving us some very very beautiful flowers.
