D90 - 28 DECEMBER Exactly 2 weeks later and the buds are all nice and dry, everything put to cure now with Boveda 58% humidity control packs. The medium-tiny and very tiny buds weighed at 15.1 grams and the medium to big sized nugs weighed at 33.2 totalizing at 48.3 grams. I´m happy with the result, I thought it would be worse. Let´s see how she goes into curing now! 29 JANUARY Finally, after a proper 30 days cure I´ll be doing the strain review. Thank you so much for taking some time to check my diary out. The second plant did not respond nearly as well to some drought stress tests. We use it for comparison. Consider this an experiment in stunted growth due to damage in early veg.

Overall grow cycle was easy,strain reacts very good to topping and will work great in a scrog,smell tastes and effects are on point,more sativa to it.

28/05/2024 - seeds were placed in a shot glass of water to for 18 hours 29/05/2024 - all seedlings except the Auto Power Plant were showing signs of a tap root and were transfered onto paper towels and placed inside a dark cool space. 30/05/2024 - of the 3 Power plant seedlings only one showed signs of a tap root so they were transfered to a paper towel on a plate and placed with the others. 02/06/2024 - one day behind but thankfully we got our seedlings into their grodan blocks and into their dome with a mars hydro heat mat set to 85F to speed up the process, we also have our 500w led set 24 inches away from the dome lid and will be updating 18 hours from now at 7am. 03/06/2024 - Seedlings are looking healthy and have been given some "Plagron Power roots" liquid nutrients. We shall keep our eyes closely on them.

Doubled the nutes this week, ive never followed the feeding chart because the regular feedings were enough. Since I'm outside and i figured I'd give it more to work with since I am trying to pull an obscene number with the size pot I'm working with and veg time. The nodes on the side branches are big enough now to be trained and stretched, this should help me get to 2lbs as I continue to train them out. Had some crazy high winds today, I called that free training.

Day 12F-19F (May 3rd - May 10th) (Day 13) Pots are still super heavy and I don’t see these things drying out anytime soon so we’ll see over the next few days. Still no signs of overwatering. (Day 14) I’m going to do a little lst. Better late than never and since the pots are saturated the stems are bendier. I noticed they were quite droopy during lights off but are praying by lights on. (Day 16) Man these things are filling out slow. I’m going to drop the light a few inches and see if that helps at all. Definitely no early trichs. (Day 19) So I haven’t had to water at all in the last 10 days and the pots are still quite heavy. Oddly enough, I still see no signs of overwatering. Perlite did it’s job I guess.

Fast flowering indeed as fast in vegetative stage. Cut this girl in branches and hang upside-down in smaller tent for drying Set RH @ 55% , temperatures not able to control so they will be something around 20-21 in drying tent Second Tropicana will be chopped within a couple off days In this cultivation, I used commercial LED lighting for the first time—the HLG Scorpion Diablo 650w, a beasts of light. It helped the plants beneath it develop exceptionally hard heads without heat-induced stress. The light spectrum is excellent, and the plants under it appear much healthier than those under my old light. They also finished faster, if that has any relevance. After numerous failures and difficulties with the timers I used for pumps and electromagnetic valves, which resulted in interrupted irrigation on several occasions, I believe I’ve resolved those issues. The TrolMaster programmable devices work perfectly in recycling mode. The ability to adjust times in seconds is precisely what I needed! The TCS1 Tent-X brain, equipped with an excellent sensor for temperature, humidity, and light detection, is remarkably accurate with rapid value measurement response—faster than the AC Infinity 69PRO controller. My favorite piece of equipment is the AMP3 sensor with pH and EC probes. It performs exceptionally well—precise and accurate. Integrating it into the system is as easy as a breeze. All equipment and sensors can be added fast to the entire system. Additionally, the humidity control I use with the Corroventa K3HP air dehumidifier works like a charm! From second girl i got 131g net weight Total dry bud mass from two plants is 260g, Total power consumption for this two girls is around 180w. Total power used in whole tent is 720w at its maximum peak for 8 plants. Next week after leaving it in Grow Bags , first smoke review, can wait ! Overall growing Tropicana Cookies was easy grow with lot of fun. This girls are resilient to everything, from bad weather and less than perfect climate conditions. They except all. Growing two plants i can say that they grow very uniformly, finishing at same height and overall same density, size and shape. Almost like from a cutting. That is what i really like ! In future i gonna to grow this lady's at least one more time but with difference, i will grow them as only strain in same tent. Combining them with Purple Lemonade and Wedding Cheesecake was little bit challenging, i feel that either off three cultivars didn't show the best off them. Main deference was plant height and nutrient requirements. Highly recommended strain for everyone !

November 16, day 28, Scrog and irrigation installed. With the net installed it's a little tricky (though possible) to hand water, so automatic watering is a nice quality of life improvement. Growth is very tight, maybe a little better suited to sog techniques. Smell is powerful for it's young age. Earliest signs of flowering have begun.
