Hi Growmies es vergingen noch 7 Tage bis ich Ernten konnte ich ließ die Pflanze komplett austrocknen nachdem ich sie ein letztes Mal gegossen habe mit klaren Wasser. Leider ging es mir gesundheitlich nicht gut weshalb ich kaum Bilder gemacht habe und nicht richtig trimming. Werde noch Bilder den Blüten und Rauch bericht machen.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

64 days after i planted her seed directly in a pot outside 😱the reaper came, i hung her upside down for 6days then cut her &put her on a net to dry some more While cutting I found some little catterpillars about 5 guess that were the eggs that I found on some of the plants last week.☺️ After a few days drying on the net i weighed it:53,6gr The taste is great I'm very happy with the result catterpillars included☺️

Week 6 was smooth. Especially after correcting the signs of deficiency. The plants have bounced back quickly after being fed and are thriving in the environment. New growth shows no new signs of deficiencies, and old growth did not get any worse. Luckily it was caught early enough and corrected. At the end of week 6 I continued to tie down shoots and continue the LST throughout the canopy. Light defoliation was also done around prime bud spots, and the lower skirt near soil. Technically also removing lower growth that won't amount to much, aka "lollipoping." Plan for week 7 is to continue to water when dry to a PH of 6.2-6.6 and LST with light defoliation where needed. Monitoring the environment and running dehumidifier to 45% RH. Fans are blowing and these seem like they will be big girls. These are some of the bigger autos I have seen personally. *UPDATE* One plant is showing nitrogen toxicity. Leaves are curling bad at top. I took her out and flushed her, as I may have built up too much with run off when fixing the phosphorus issue. Continue to monitor and hope it recovers quickly. But have also seen a lot of other grows with similar leaf traits with downward curls, might be genetics. None the less, will let dry and water thoroughly all plants next time with PH 6.2-6.5 water. *UPDATE 2.0" So the girls soil was not good. Turns out my calibration was off on pH meter and was flushing with around 7 pH water. Read the soils and one plant, that had the claw and dark leaves, was above 7.0 soil pH. Others were below but still a bit high. Have been adjusting pH of water to about 5.8-6.2 pH for next few to help lower it. One girl is not happy. We will get the train back on the rail though.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds.
