A planta segue forte, saudável e explosiva. Na última semana, a evolução dela a cada 24h foi algo impressionante. Segurei um pouco na nutrição para prevenir um overfert. Fiz uma leve defoliação e também tirei alguns brotos menos promissores. Seguimos aí para mais uma semana. Colaborem com meu cultivo e me ajudem com dicas! ⛓️💪🏽

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. 😈👹😈👹 DARK DEVIL AUTO®️!!! 😈👹😈👹 Finally getting around to a strain I’ve been dying to grow! I’m hoping for a successful germination rate, keeping my fingers crossed!🤞 For these girls I’ll be growing in two different mediums with a variety of nutrients and amendments from various brands. Of course as always, all inputs are 100% organic. No synthetics allowed in my garden! Two Dark Devils will be grown in Nectar For the Gods #4 Soil Mix and the other who will be grown in Malibu’s Baby Bu’s Potting Soil. Both of these mediums are considered premium and only have the best quality inputs. Both soils also contain coco coir. In my experience I have found that autoflowers grow so much better in soil mixed with coco. Anytime that I’ve grown in heavier based peat soils I get much smaller root balls and root mass in general compared to coco/peat mixed mediums. The NFG #4 is a much lighter substrate than the Bu’s because it’s filled with a ton of perlite and pumice. One benefit is that it also has basalt so it’s considered “paramagnetic”. The one thing I added to the NFG mix was organic Bio-Char blend made from Build A Soils bio char and locally sourced organic bio char. The Baby Bu’s medium is 100% Coco Coir based, mixed with their biodynamic compost, worm castings, bio char, and tons of other beneficial ingredients. This medium is slightly heavier than the NFG even though the NFG is peat and coco based. It really comes down to there being less aeration material in the Bu’s blend compared to the NFG. But hopefully the coco will make up for the lack of aeration compared to the Nectar #4. A benefit claimed by both companies is that their products are properly mixed and stored so the customer does not receive “HOT” soil. The mediums come lightly pre-amended but believe that the Baby Bu’s will have more nutrients than the NFG #4 mix as they claim their soil is an “all mix”. I will be feeding the plants with living oxygenated water, microbial inoculants and light compost teas until the plants look like they need more food. This is my first time growing in both mediums so we’ll see as I grow along! I will also be adopting the northern lights technique that I’m using on my Banana Blaze grow diary! Update: 12/16 All four seeds broke ground around the same time at 9:00pm. 100% successful germination rate. Let’s see how they progress into the vegetative state. Update: 12/18 one out of four seeds may be showing signs of damping off. All four were growing straight as an arrow but today one is slightly slouched and leaves are allowing water to soak in. This usually isn’t a great sign! Update: 12/19 Took the suspected damping off seedling out of her humidity dome and she improved overnight. She is the only one with a greenish colored stem while the other three all have distinctive red/brownish stems similar to other purple strains I have grown. Thanks for stopping by! 😈

The week was gone very well until yesterday. I happen to check on the girls when the lights came on I noticed one of my two lamps were out. A bulb burnt. It is only two months old. I bought it online and delivery on everything from this company is out over two weeks. They are closed for the pandemic. Surprisingly, a local hydroponic store where I bought my fans and air scrubbers from was open. The guy cut me a solid and $85 later I am back in business. The girls just had one night with one light. I don’t think one cloudy day will hurt them They’re budding nicely, I just pick a few leaves every now and then to get some light to specific buds.

After defoliation everything runs calm and fats up ;) Now i even hate that girl with leafs. Other girls i can put a lot tighter and under more intence light ... Her lower buds look like air and her leafs are in the way of everybody ;))) we shall see final weight... Think thats the last week of feed. Only ph water after for couple more ... Smells realy fantastic !! P.s. its just hard not to show that other fathers 9th sister ;))) Choco Lopez Auto - my new love ;) P.s.2 some night shots. Stoped CalMag already. I see some milky , so its time to plan flush soon. P.s. 3 have two dominant girls. Both will be fun to weight. Gave all girls first breeze of autumn. During one night only 15 cel. Only two girls will have last feeding and flush will start from day 50. Days will be shorted to 11 hours.

Al final sí decidí hacer lst por problemas de espacio ya que la luz es demasiado potente y hay que respetar las distancias recurro a LST me limito a partir la dominancia apical tumbando la hacía un costado y haciéndola girar entorno a la maceta lo máximo que se deje atando posteriormente las ramas alos bordes sacando así el máximo rendimiento de luz en la planta. Tuve pequeño problema de alimentos una carencia de boro y manganeso me hicieron decolorar y hasta perder algunas hojas rápidamente empiezo con fertilizantes de floración y refuerzo el sistema inmunológico a la espera de la floración tengo muchas ganas de ver estas increibles cepas

Die Woche verlief gut. Mittlerweile scheint es der Pflanze wirklich gut zu gehen, daher wurde auch wie zuvor geplant an Tag 36 das zweite mal getoppt. Zusätzlich zum Toppen an Tag 36 gab es an den Tagen 40 und 42 noch 2 Entlaubungsrunden. Da ich festgestellt habe, das ich aufgrund der aktuell bereits erreichten Größe der Pflanze nicht mehr viel Zeit habe bis ich die Blüte einleiten muss, wollte ich in dieser Woche noch möglichst nah an meine gewünschte Mainlining-Struktur herankommen. Ich denke das ist mir auch ganz gut gelungen, auch wenn das teilweise asymmetrische Wachstum das etwas erschwert hat. Nach der zweiten Entlaubung an Tag 42 wurde hierzu auch das LST noch mal runderneuert. Gewässert wurde diese Woche nur 1 Mal an Tag 39, insgesamt ~3 Liter nach dem bereits zuletzt genutzten Schema (2.5ml/l Fish-Mix, 1ml/l Alg-A-Mic, 2ml/l Bio-Heaven, ca. 0.24g/l Bittersalz, pH-Wert ~6.4). Der Drain liegt mittlerweile sehr stabil bei ~6.4 Der Abstand zur Lampe wurde zwischendurch etwas vergrößert (jetzt ca. 40cm) und die Leistung so eingestellt, dass an den Triebspitzen ein DLI von ~30-33 erreicht wird. Zu Beginn der nächsten Woche erfolgt eine erneute Bewässerung, wobei ich damit beginnen werde so langsam das Düngeschema in Richtung Blüte anzupassen. Ansonsten gönne ich ihr jetzt erst mal 2-3 Tage Erholung, mit nur leichtem nachjustieren des LST. Vermutlich lasse ich die 8 Triebe dann noch ein paar cm einfach vertikal wachsen und werde dann im Lauf der nächsten Woche das Licht auf 12/12 umstellen.

Starting Flowering

Forgot to feed the plants tuesday, so instead of giving them their last feed thursday, i fed them wednesday, that gives them 11 days of pure water before i harvest them next sunday. First time i do an all organic flowering, i will give them about 1 - 1,25 liter de-chlorinated tap water everyday, untill next weekend, i will try to let them dry out before the harvest.

Tutto procede alla grande e le ragazze di Anesia stanno allungando verso la loro forma finale…Calypso Sun Rock alla fine si è stabilizzata e al posto di crescere in altezza, ha dato priorità ai rami laterali prendendo la classica forma del pino 🌲 con foglie non troppo larghe in confronto a The Sin e White Runtz che hanno foglie più grosse e spesse più da Indica predominante…la prossima volta iniziamo ad aumentare la Dose di Canna Terra Flores con una bella dose di PK e andiamo verso il fiore appiccicoso e gelido ❄️😀📸📹🚀

Ho hum veg veg. The boring weeks that make the plant. Started with some LST but decided to give this girl the freedom to grow. Trimmed the lowest fan leaves only. Moved her around in the tent to give her some space and better light and airflow. Slight increase in nutrient strength.

Rock hard buds Miicrobialmass for the win and the new led is killer. The knobs like knots grow out of the sides of the buds are something to look at wow !!! Monkey berries is in flushing mode , slurricane won’t be far behind in the next week or 2 I’ll flush
