We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

I love this pheno compared to the other hard diesel pheno #2 this one has a beautiful structure, and the buds are very dense hard and sticky as hell, the aroma it's really strong and stinky, I would definitely run her again, gea seeds always provides high quality strains and seeds to the growers! The SCROG net was installed on the last day of Week 6, I included a couple pics from that night, to compare with how the plant looked the next day, which was the first day of Week 7. My nerve damaged fingers caused me to be a little rougher with her while the net was going on than I like, but as you can see, she bounced back very quickly and was reaching for the light less than 24 hours after being mangled lol. I will continue to systematically defoliate the upper canopy every night or two for the next several weeks, and will completely strip most everything below the net. Every night or two I'll tuck any branches that need tucking, and will remove any fan leaves covering bud sites. She spread out pretty well in the net, and truth be known i probably could have gotten away with a 6 week veg after, plants are a decent size in the net with the stretch left to go. Flip happens at the end of Week 7 The manganese issue seems to be getting much better by the end of the week. Will keep my pH levels at 5.8 for the remainder of this grow, and any subsequent grows. I also devised a fan mount to save on space in the net. Instead of standing the fan, i simply cut a piece of 1x3 to length, drilled 2 holes in each end, large enough for zip ties to pass through. then I simply zip tied it to the tent poles, took the legs off the fan, and screwed the base to the board. I placed a piece of foam on top, as the screws were a shade long and I was afraid the small protruding tip would eventually puncture the tent. Works much better than expected. No movement in the mount at all.

WEEK 31 March-7 April. I just finished all setup afteer transplantation and so far all is working fine. Now she is comfortable and has plenty of space. I'm very proud of my AQUALOOP homemade system, that works perfectly. I'm going to increase nutes until 1.8 / 2.0 EC and go to make her blooming in a couple of weeks. Update 09/04: I've made a big defolation and strong LST. I decided to start soon the blooming stage, maybe during the WE.

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I defoliated leaves blocking the inside/lower canopy to give more light to lower growth points keeping the top 2 leaves on cola tops. The girls are deff still stretching :) So far so good. I'm glad I flipped to flower early this run and could see even dropping the veg time by another week. Its tough working in a small grow space but I'm determined to master it lol. I lowered the lights intensity from 85% to 75% to give my tops 600-800 PPFD. Usually I just blast the plants with 100% until the stretch is over but I'm realizing that I'm way over doing it based on my quantum sensors data. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The girls are still stretching and putting out new preflowers. My tallest cola is 9" from the light(the other lower colas are between 10"-12" away from grow light). On day 3 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 8.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 10" away from light. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. My tallest cola is 7.5" from my grow light and the average/lower cola distance from grow light is 10-11". I defoliated large leafs that are blocking lower bud sites and or touching each other causing wet spots on the leaves. I want as much airflow as possible as I can not control my night time humidity which can be as high as 80%-90%. My last run I noticed some sugar leaves touching my grow box walls and this caused them to start rotting. I want to avoid that this time around so I'm being careful not to have any wet spots from leaves laying on each other as well as keeping all colas far enough from my walls. In the future I would like to have the ability for de humidification but being in a small grow box in a garage makes it difficult to control my lung room. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.1 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 7" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" away from light. I defoliated and removed lower bud sites not receiving enough light. On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. My tallest cola is 6.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10". My tallest cola is getting 1000 PPFD while my lowers are 600-800 PPFD. On day 7 I changed out the reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. The tallest cola is 6" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10"

Jan 22nd - tonight the feeding involves Aerated Compost Tea; 4L ea. (menu above) * compost tea looked like a cup of tea. Golden and slightly murky, the tea had reduced the nutrient load to small particles. It just felt right feeding this liquid concoction. Will be looking for changes / surprises these next few days - back to the G.P. liquid routine for the finish… - Black Willie gets thirsty faster, their meals may become seperate events very soon - due to slightly alkaline soil conditions lately, I have balanced the pH of the AC Tea to a 6.3 to help drive the Soil pH lower. Acid was diluted in cups of (good)water and added in sequence to gently drop the 8.3pH of ac tea. 24th - brewing a tea, as listed above, for tomorrow. 2 in a row is a first. Water pH’d to 6.5 b4 adding ingredients. Ppm @ 385 w/ingredients and bubbling Jan 25th - stuck with the plan and used normal Green Planet routine; 4.5L - looked like it snowed on the buds 26th - lifted the Scrog, no Tall threats at this stage. (Making watering to run-off so much easier) Jan 28th - last day of the week - soil checks etc., dinner in a perfect world

Growing it was straight forward. Very resistant to temp changes, loved every bit of nutrients I gave her. Buds have turned out beautiful and harvesting 4.5 ounces dry on one plant is always nice

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. So apparently ive been stoned as fuck... These plants have been in 3 gallon pots the whole time 😂 So the one plant that is a week behind the other one and I these plants look so different from each other for some reason. they are both dank as fuckkkkk
