Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. LSD-25 deve essere una genetica bellissima dai tratti viola a predominanza indica ma che è capace di portarti con la testa molto in alto! Già da adesso il colore del gambo risulta più scuro più rosso delle sorellastre, questo dice molto del suo tratto genetico…voglio vedere come si svilupperà, non penso di fare dei particolari allenamenti alle piante ma solo una potatura delle foglie e forse qualche piegatura ma steremo a vedere…grazie @Fast_Buds per queste bellissime genetiche 💯

Growdiarie of 2021: 2nd week of flowering for the 3 dinafem cheese plants and a half-automatic seed (sort of early flowering, start flowering at mid august). The auto one is a little hermaphrodite an pollinated the other plants a little, especially the closest one. The seeds resulting have very different phenos.

Reduced the humidity further, set it to ~40% right now, but since we're in a severe heat-wave in germany right now (we are peaking at 30°C indoors and ~33°C in our "growroom") our dehumidifier is working overtime. Defoliating every few days, leaving us with sticky fingers and scissors. Buds are developing fine and growing very quickly in size. Leaves are getting more and more frosty, even removed some when defoliating and took a look at the trichomes under our mikroskopic lense. Very beautiful and dense trichome-structure; especially on the buds. The red-purple coloured parts of the buds, mentioned last week, are developing nicely and much quicker than expected. Even spotted some milky trichomes on the headbud here and there.

Die Töpfe sind sehr leicht zu reinigen, Waschmaschine, Kurzprogramm ohne Waschmittel, schon sind sie wieder wie neu. Ebenfalls beibehalten werden die Smart Start Plugs von Zamnesia. Der beigefügte Dünger ist trotz abgeklebter Verpackung feucht geworden. Zum befeuchten der Plugs habe ich stattdessen das Plagron Seedbooster Wasser verwendet. Tag 80: Die Rainbow Sherbet Automatic von Zamnesia Seeds ist eine Schönheit. Die Buds sind schwer und müssen an den Hauptstamm gebunden werden. Die unteren Blätter und Zweige entfernt. So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! Brought to u by Mars Hydro SP3000 x2. Grow on Earth. Grow with Mars. All pics day 40. Welcome back. Mid/late flower now. Winding down nutes and teas and will feed to get the buds to ripen. Apex is frosting up nicely and her smell is popping, closest I can get to describing it is like cleaning products from a real fancy hotel…but lots of fan leaves are showing signs of deficiencies and/or lockout cuz she’s root bound really bad. Buds and sugar leaves aren’t affected, so far so good, I hope they stay that way 🤞 Gelato is fattening up real nice and has that distinct pungent aroma but not as strong as apex and not a lot of trichs. I hear this strain starts picking up in week 7+…although she’s root bound too but not as bad (I think). Lights are at 80%…they’re fricken beasts and way too much power for such a short, tiny tent. Next grow will be same strains, bigger final pots and will be in a new tent that is 6” (15cm) taller, every little bit helps :) That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by. Easy to grow, beautiful structure and plant. Big frosted, dense buds with very good odour 🤤. Would 100% recommend.
