Almost there!!

This week I assembled the new 48x48x80 Mars Hydro tent and installed the new FOHSE Aries 600W LED light. I set the dim to 75%, but after two days, it was clearly too much, especially for 20 hours per day. I will dim it way down and shorten the hours until the plants appear to be doing better.

They are going slow but steady. Holding back on watering to help fight the gnats. They were with too many last week. Some yellow points because of an 'on the limit' foliar feed. Nothing to worry about. Still very lush greens. I'm thinking the main reason for their slower growth, is the fan that is on high. My mission from the start s to get thick stalks and branches, to facilitate larger buds. Also, I'm pushing the SP 3000 to its max for the age of my plants, they don't have to reach for the light, resulting in shorter, bushier plants. I don't mind, I think the flowering stretch will make up for that and fill the tent. Still very happy with the SP-3000 from Mars Hydro, a much more constant and manageable climate in the tent, a dream to work with. I made a thank you video for @MarsHydroLED, of course, to also show off my music. I'm thinking one or two more weeks before resetting the light schedule for flowering. I'm already late and if another week will deliver bigger and more buds, I will give them what they need. For those living in Europe, wanting to try super soil, see my recipe in the images. The three girls are almost switching into flower, so this week i'll start with a low dosed flowering mix in terms of nutes Differences between the three are huge, there is no doubt that the three different environments we've put them in are definetely putting their mark on the growth and overall character of the plants. the signs of light deficiency on plant number 3 are showing clearly: its brittle and very wide spread, you can tell its looking for more light. Number #2 gets the most light and is hardly stretching at all. it seems like a crop of lettuce. Number #1 gets plenty light, not showing any signs of slowing down however i'm noticing that this one consumes less water (probably has to do with temp/RH levels being different due to the different lamp) than number #2. Probably should give #2 some more straight water because its consuming so much water and i do not want to overfeed it. I think #1 is doing fine and can do with a little less water, but with nutrients. #3 is hardly using any water it seems like, i'm thinking of moving it next to a radiator so it should be able to get a quicker absorbtion and vaporisation of water in its system, hopefully charging it with some more power. Just did some LST on day 29 as well, including removal of 2 leafs of both #1 and #2. Not sure if it should be considered defoliation though.. Don't think so ;) ------------ end of week 5: i've flushed plants #1 and #2 as seen on a video on youtube. the idea behind this is to flush out any leftover grow nutes and start with a clean slate when the girls transition into flower. as an added benefit i've discovered that it is much easier to maintain a beneficial VPD value when the earth is completely soaked once a week instead of watering it with smalller portions more often. The earth contains a lot more water and evaporates it into the climate, easily reaching a 60% RH without a humidifier in these fridges. I've even lowered the lamps to get the temps up, because the VPD was reaching values below 0.90.

Hey guys this is week 1 in flower for the fat banana. She is growing good now so i think she will become double the size she was before flower. I defoliated her because i don't wanna give her stress later in the flower periode. She gets water every 2 days she is drinking good we gave her callmag pro, sugar royal,power buds and alga bloom from plagron. Another good week they are all coming along nicely they have a bit more room now I can get the door closed the new fan set up seems to work better and is quieter using plastic drainage pipe instead of the foil ducting was hard trying to get hold of some 8 inch pipe back to the plants well having 8 down still, sizes vary fro 50cm to 137cm they’re a few that seem to be a week or 2 behind the rest in the size of the budz but they have plenty of time to catch up. Sie reift wirklich recht langsam. Vor allem die unteren Buds brauchen noch ein bisschen mehr Zeit. Das Wetter ist sehr wechselhaft aber zum Glück ist kein Schimmel in Sicht.

plant vigoureux ^^ sortie en 1 semaine j'ai simplement mi une pastille prés des racines afin quelle est tout ce dont elle aurait besoin. un peu d'eau pas trop pour ne pas la noyer. le petit godet a ete mis dans le substrat et ensuite planter dans son pot final. le maintient du climat est difficile j'ai peur que la temperature monte tro)p dans les prochaine semaine... j'aviserai à ce moment là la premiere graine nothern lignt a échouée, le strat easy ne me parait pas du toyut etre une bonne solution la germination a pris plus de 2 semaine, j'ai refait germer dans du coton une autre nothern lignt qui a pris en 2 jour lol ^^ bien plus efficace ^^. dans elle auras un peu de retard sur la stress killer espérons que ça va pas trop chanbouler la floraison ...

Per fortuna sono riuscito a tornare in tempo e le mie piante stanno bene! Non ho potuto monitorare per niente e mi sono affidato alle poche indicazioni che avevo lasciato e non posso lamentarmi…in questa settimana i fiori sono cresciuti e le piante hanno raggiunto la loro altezza massima, alcune stanno già scaricando le riserve di nutrienti e alcune foglie sono diventate gialle, vedrò se aggiungere un ultima volta il Top Dress di Dogma Organics per dare loro supporto per le ultime settimane…per ora sono super soddisfatto sia delle genetiche di Fast Buds che del super soil di Dogma Organics..è tutto così semplice ed efficace per queste ragazze e il risultato lo vedi già dalla crescita vegetativa, le piante hanno solo bisogno della tua attenzione per il ciclo asciutto/ bagnato ed il resto andrà bene sicuro!!!

We’re in the midst of the bulking phase now, with a few buds stacking up nicely. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has sparser bud distribution. Compared to other auto genetics, these three plants also show a broad variety in growth structure and phenological traits. Also, overall plant health isn’t entirely satisfying, with high temperatures being the Main cause. The leaves are showing several stress-related issues like mild tip burn, nitrogen deficiency, and some cal-mag problems. But hey - we’re here to grow buds, not leaves! 😄 That said, the fade is to be expected as the plants start to cannibalize themselves for nutrients. The stretch is also in its final phase, so we’re likely 3 to 4 weeks away from harvest. --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: ~1.62 kPa Temperature: ~28°C Relative humidity: ~55%

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again.
