The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet!

Here we are with some new photos and videos. We're halfway through Week 5. As you can see, I went a bit overboard with the PK. All the leaf tips are burned. Whoops. Next watering will be a bit heavier, and I'll only give a half dose of Bioflores plus a full dose of Cannazym. Then I'll start with the Rokzbastic (Bloombastic?)* hoping it doesn't throw things too far off balance. I think by the end of this week I'll also stop the Bud Factor X – from what I understand, it could leave metallic residues in the smoke later, which would really bother me xD. I admit I've given Bloombastic with every watering except one, always at low doses, but I should have been more careful and pushed less, or at least alternated it more. Temperatures have risen slightly with peaks of 28°C (82°F), though most of the time it stays between 26.9°C and 27.5°C (80.4°F - 81.5°F) (lights on). With lights off, I can't get below 26°C (78.8°F) (except for rare dips to 25.8°C / 78.4°F). Right now the ventilation is maxing out, with humidity sitting between 55-60%. It’s on the high side, but this is the best I can do. The plants seem resilient though, even in these less-than-ideal conditions, and seeing them outside the tent with the lights off gives me hope. Any advice is always welcome! Everything I’m putting into practice comes from others' experiences, carefully followed, and info from friends both online and offline. Stay tuned! Peace.

****** Week 8 Vegetation - Sept 5 to 11/20 They were transplanted from solo cups into 1 gal pots on day 15, topped on day 37 and then into 5 gal fabric on day 50 (C472 into 3 gal two days later) C471 transplanted finally into her final home of a 5 gal pot on September 6. Mixed with roughly 20% Perlite and 80% Coco Coir. She has been the more aggressive grower so I gave her the 5 gal pot. Will put the slightly slower grower C472 into the 3 gal fabric pot. Hope this will balance out things with the size of the root mass in an equal amount of time. C472 not tranpsplanted until Sept 8, once I finally got a 3 gal fabric pot.......was sure that 5 gal looked like a 3 gal🤪🤪🤪 Anyway.....she spent and extra two days in the 1 gal pot👍 So they are finally done with transplants. Now its time to stay focussed on filling in the canopy with bud sites. Need to let these girls grow a little more vertically to keep up with the Gorilla Girls, which are growing so hard already💪👍 Suspect this might be an ongoing issue in this run.......the indica in this strain may keep her a fair bit shorter in height. The photo tent has basically been turned into the Sweet Seeds tent for the next couple of months😃😃 Once in flower will be cooling these girls off at night to bring out their potential colour changes in late bloom. They are growing leaves nice and large and plentiful. Node space is staying pretty tight still. Just need those branches to take off vertically so Silica will be introduced soon. Still working out a bit how I need the branches to bend around to fill in the canopy. Once I start increasing the silica as an additive on its own, its tougher to bend around her branches but she will certainly grow stronger. I want to put a SCROG in but I am actually a little concerned about SCROGing two potentially pretty different strains........lots of Sativa in Gorilla Girl and those phenos are pushing out more branch than leaf🙁 A little more detail..... Sept 5/20 - watering in the morning simply to get ready for transplanting in PM: - 500ml - CalMag, B52 @ 1.5ml - 385ppm and 5.7pH - transplanted with Mycorrhizae - watering in the PM after transplanting: - 1.5L - Velokelp, Vitathrive, Microbes @ 2ml - 110ppm and 5.2pH - missed the damn pH again but running with it. Sept 8/20 - 2L - CalMag @ 2ml/L, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L - 775ppm and 5.8pH - C472 transplanted today. Really not looking for these girls to take off just yet so been keeping the feedings light. Noticing some possible issues forming though with light leaf colours and some dark areas in the roots. Time to bump up the feeding ppm and more ml’s to get more runoff water from the coco at feedings. CalMag might be a little light as well but start with more water. Been keeping it a little light and that is likely causing some of these issues. That wraps up this week and feel better about how the tent is looking now. The plan is to fill in for another week and then flip next weekend.......see how the week goes🤞

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

She's surprisingly short compared to Selena (Super Auto Lemon Haze) but her buds are turning out to be nice, purple, and covered in trichomes so far. Had to cut down the lights to 12-12 cause one of the other plants turned out to be a photoperiod. Sucks but it definitely saves me the electricity bill. As usual, looking forward to next week!

We've officially reached week 6 of the flowering phase, and let me tell you, it's getting pretty amazing in my grow tent. Here's what's been happening: The aroma that fills the air when I open my tent is mind-blowing! It hits me right in the face with its funky skunkiness, and I can't help but smile. These ladies are developing some seriously potent terpenes, and I can't wait to savor the flavors when it's time to harvest. 🌿👃💨 Speaking of buds, they are looking absolutely stunning. The development is on point, and the density is increasing day by day. I find myself gazing at them with a sense of pride and excitement. These girls are going to be something special. 🌸🌿🌱💪 I'm thrilled to report that there are no signs of seed pods or hermaphroditism. The ladies are staying true to their femininity, focusing solely on producing those gorgeous, resinous flowers. It's a relief and a testament to the genetics and care they've received. 🚫⚡️ To ensure their continued growth, I've upped the watering to 5 liters every two days. These thirsty beauties need their hydration! Along with the increased watering, I've noticed some oranging on the tops and a touch of purpling on the leaves. It's a delightful display of colors that adds even more visual appeal to the grow tent. 🌿🍊💜 As for the nutrient solution, I've maintained a stable pH of 6.33, allowing for optimal nutrient uptake. The TDS level has remained between 1150 and 1250, providing the perfect balance of nutrients for the plants' needs. ⚖️📈 With everything going so well, I'm buzzing with excitement for what the next week of flowering will bring. The buds get thicker and more sugary.. The smell is amazing! I'm very curious to smoke this lady. Do i get the PUNCH?

Still low stress training till end of week five and once they are bigger then the actual pot I will allow them to start growing straight up. Lots of plants Is nice but you don’t want to suffocate them with no space to grow. I want a bush then turn it loose and let her reach up. More space for light to penetrate and helps with air flow to circulate the air better. I defoliated lower third of plant to allow plants resources to be better used on top and to also allow better air flow. Also when using low stress training you’re pulling the tops down to make an even canopy to allow your light to be put at its lowest point to get all your nuggs an even amount of light. As the week went on you can see I have leveled them all out for my light to be at its closest without burning any of my taller branches. I just tied them down more to allow the others to get better light and bulk them babies up more. I had a magnesium deficiency this week with a couple plants so when I watered I added 5 tsp of epson salt to 3L of water along with the rhino skin and then ph the water to 6.0. The only reason I have ph’d the water to 6.0 instead of 6.3 is because the runoff from the last watering was at about 6.8 so I’m trying to lower the runoff and get it closer to 6.5 so I know that my roots aren’t blocking out Nutrient uptake. The plants are a making a fast rebound after giving them the Epson salt watering after a couple days and are getting back to healthy. Week six should be a very interesting week to see how far these babies start reaching up now that I am done low stress training. The smell is very light not too strong yet. Still adding CO2.

She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 21/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Ir van creciendo y no llevan ni mal ritmo ni mal color, veremos como avanzan las próximas semanas y como van formándose las flores. Scrog net will also be installed this week. 09/04/24 - 2L RO Water with Cal Mag Xtra per plant. 11/04/24 - 3L RO Water only per plant. 14/04/24 - 3L RO Water with Nutes per plant. Notes : 08/04/24 - Scrog net was installed, will continue to adjust branches this coming week. 11/04/24 - Was seeing leaves a little bit on the dark side so fed only plain water 6.5ph, next feeding will be with nutes again. Re-arranged scrog net a bit more to open up the canopy a little bit more. Overall plants looking happy and all of them have now gone into the pre-flowering stage. 14/04/24 - Plants are doing really well in the pre-flowering stage and are really streching now. One last strech befor they go into full flower.
