Tag 197: Die drei Großen geniesen die letzten Sommertage an der Sonne bei nahezu Windstille. Der abgebrochene Ast wächst offensichtlich gut wieder an, keine welken Blätter vorhanden. Mit dem Höhenwachstum ist langsam Schluß, die drei Ladys konzentrieren sich auf ihre Blüten. Tag 200: Seit gestern Mittag sind die drei Grazien wieder im Trockenen untergebracht, seitdem hat es 40 Liter/m² geregnet und es regnet weiter. Aug 16: Tropicana Cookies FF is a really fast flowering plant. I’m getting excited for the flowering progress cuz it looks like it is going to be a big one. Very exciting and we’re still only at mid-August so the timing is very good for a strong finish in September without it dragging into October. Aug 18: video shows using the 730 nm far red light at dusk. To maintain a natural schedule I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com. This is getting 2-3 minutes earlier each night. Just a couple seconds is all it takes to put plant into dark mode 2 hours faster making it like a 26 h day. Great trick if you have daily access.

Growth has been explosive with the strain. Tops coming from everywhere after one topping. I plan on taking a cutting from this particular strain I have a great feeling about this one.

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

This grow was challenging because they stretched five times their height after flipping, so I had to rebuild the entire tent to fit them. Unfortunately, this meant that I couldn't use my regular lights but instead had to use a QB light dimmed down to not fry the plants thoroughly. This resulted in light bleaching and insane foxtailing in the top buds and a reduced yield overall. I am confident that both quality and quantity would have been better with less stretch.

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

The Blackberry Moonrocks have a really solid structure, they're looking super healthy. They're nice and big, but it does seem like they could be stretching a bit more. We might need to adjust the lighting or the nutrients to encourage them to grow taller. Well, another year has come and gone. Week 10

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary.
