Despite colder-than-ideal temperatures, the Zamnesia Runtz seedlings are showing their strength and determination. Here’s how things are looking: Environment Stats • Daytime Temps: ~18°C • Nighttime Temps: ~14°C • Humidity (RH): ~60% • Root Support: Heating mat keeping the root zone warmer, ensuring the seedlings stay cozy even when ambient temps drop. Growth Update • All five phenos (labeled Runtz #1–5) have sprouted and are now showing their first leaves. • Growth is slow due to the low temperatures, but the Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae is proving to be an amazing medium—supporting healthy roots and steady development. • No nutrients yet, just plain water, allowing the seedlings to establish themselves naturally in this excellent soil. Faith in the Pheno Hunt I’m holding onto the dream of finding that special passion-fruit pheno I adored in the past. It’s still early days, but I believe in the magic of this strain and the promise each seed holds. Educational Focus: Germination to Week 1 Care The Importance of Root Warmth in Cold Conditions Maintaining a consistent root-zone temperature is crucial when growing in a cold environment. Here’s how I’ve adapted: • Using a heating mat under the pots to keep the roots warm while the surrounding air remains cooler. • Ensuring the soil stays evenly moist, as dry conditions can amplify the impact of cold. Minimal Feeding Philosophy For the first week, I stick to plain water—letting the soil and its microbial life do the heavy lifting. This allows the seedlings to establish strong roots without risk of overfeeding or salt buildup. Patience is Key Early growth may seem slow, especially in cooler climates, but this is the foundation stage. Each small leaf and root is setting the stage for explosive growth in the weeks to come. first I shed the substrate with 400-500 ppm feeding short fertilizer The seed is sent to a glass of water 200ml / 6.5ph / 200ppm for 12 hours after - the seed is sent to wet cotton pads for 2-3 days

Week 8 (17-3 to 23-3) 17-3 Temps: 17.4 to 21.9 degrees Humidity: 60% to 72% 18-3 Temps: 17.5 to 22.2 degrees Humidity: 54% to 65% 19-3 Temps: 17.9 to 22.4 degrees Humidity: 52% to 61% Watering: Both 500 ml. EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :)

Growth stun abit in #1 due to snap in the stem but still manage to grow half inch. n push new growth........#2 main growth stun but directed to lower branches n still grow about 2 inch......#3 double it growth with 4.5 inch. didn't need lst was showing good growth in lower branches from early

They are all doing great. I cleaned my resivor and forgot to turn the valve back on. In less than 24 hrs my boy starts wilting ( he is such a pussy ). Other than that things are good. My light decided it was tired and wanted to quit working. It is 3 years old, but I barely used it. I have a spare, but anyway its time to shut it off. They are getting about 14 and 1/2 hours of sunlight. The longest day of the year was on Friday. Its almost like it knew. 😂🤣😂🤣 They should already be outside in the final pot..... but I'm behind. They should be 5 feet +.... but I'm behind. My boy is the tallest at 43 inches and the shortest girl is 36 inches. I will transplant into 25 gallon hard plastic pots. This grow will be slightly different this year. Somehow I will make it happen. I'm thinking of cramming them into tomato cages, and seeing what happens. I'm not even sure if I'm going to top them. I am just going to play it out and decide later, or not decide. I'm sure it will have some ups and downs.

Day 21 - she got repotted into her 38 Litre airpot. She is not as close to the lights as I'd like, but saying that I wouldn't mind her to stretch a little bit.

Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

The plants grew really well by about 13 cm. I put the photo period 12/12, they're really fragrant. I provided the right nutrients every day using mycorizze

📅 Week 3 – Day 21 BOX: 50x50 – 100W lamp 🌞 Temp: 27°C 💦 RH: 70–72% 💥 PPFD: 400–650 µmol/m²/s 🌬️ VPD: ~1 – 1.1 kPa This is my first time planting directly into the final pot, and the difference is clear – I definitely saved a few days of growth. Watering volume is increasing steadily: started at ~400 ml and today I went for the first runoff with about 800 ml. EC stays on the lower side, around 0.6. They’re also getting Power Roots and enzymes. DOKI got her first LST today. Stay tuned – and keep growing 🌱

Everything's doing great, the ladies are healthy and growing faster and faster!

First week under the Lumatek 600 Pro set to 50% and aporox 40cm away from canopy. Day 7 applied some pruning and supercropped the few taller girls to even out the canopy. I will add a CO2 bag next week as i increase the power to avoid potential light stress.

WEEKLY GOALS : --------------------------- - pluck the whole room !!! - stake all large spudz that need may need support for down the road . - run a cleaner through my lines ( which switching over to auto pots , I want these ladies to have a clean line of path for ALOT of drinking 🚰) - take any shoots that are too far barried in the canopy to flower correctly.
