🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 Flower (Harvest Special) 🌸 This week marks a major milestone in the Lava Cake journey: we harvested phenotype two, who had been affected by bud rot. Bud rot may have tried to take the best from us, but we didn’t allow it. Every infected part was carefully removed, and the remaining healthy plant was harvested and is now drying as a whole plant under controlled conditions. ⸻ 🙏 Apologies & Context We know this is technically a flower week update, but due to the new updates on Grow Diaries and the desire to share photos, videos, and the story of this harvest so we’re combining the harvest with the flower week report. Even though bud rot forced an early cut, the flowers are still dense, fragrant, and high quality. The flowers were so dense and weighty that some branches were starting to bend, snap, and strain under the load. While this is a testament to the plant’s vigor and genetics, it also increased the risk of further bud rot and damage, making an early, careful harvest the safest and most sensible choice. Even under pressure, these girls delivered impressive structure, weight, and resin coverage, proving their strength and quality until the very last moment. Day 14, Two of the Orange Sherbets are a little behind & the one I’m trying to pull back from nutrient burn.. So far the White Widow Autos by Seedsman have been doing the best! Day 17 two of the Orange sherbet are a little behind the rest of the plants but overall I would say everything is going good! Seems like the orange sherbet that had the nutrient burn is starting to bounce back! Day 19 They are all really starting to take off! Probably gonna do some LST tonight or tomorrow!

Starts 5th week of bloom my friends! ———— During last week: 1 cut all lower branches for finish cleaning under net 2 Flushed at day and start a PK Booster to cure an early K deficiency. 3 cleaned reservoir of solution and added ext.filter for water treatment 4 cut some clones ———————— For this week: 1 removed Big Bud 2 added over drive 3 added a PK booster 200ppm 4 cut some fan leaves to have a better light penetration 5 decreased Hr%: during day max 50%, during night max 65% Environment: -Air flow - extractor during day and 1 fan for in air flow (linked to a 20 mm mist maker) -Nr 2 oscillating fan (secret jardin 20w - extractor (blauBerg site on bottom of tent for under net airflow) -Temp : 5 thermoigrometrs - constant in function of distance to canopy (24-27’C during day) -HR% : in-air fan is linked to a mist maker (20mm) and an HR% probe then 1 other mist maker (timered with the light ballast) - Smell : Carbon filter in tent and carbon filter and ozone generator (Cornwell electronics 500 mg/h) out in room

TRANSITION DAY 10: This lady is my latest favourite. She is progressing amazingly under the new lights and has now started to flower properly. she has been putting her first bract pistils out since day 5 of flip. This is the fastest i have seen this occur with my grows. She has fought back from the stripping ,prior to flip, and her regrowth is virile and very strong looking. I think she will be in my top 10 of strains to grow. Her response to the quadline style has been excellent and i dont think it has slowed her down at all. She is stretching well and will hopefully be setting herself up for long thick colas. I need to strip out all the lower small bits of growth and maybe a few hopeful mains. her size has limited her possibilities with the space i have i think. I am going to be spacing my girls out a little more and trusting the lights will still give me adequate coverage to the canopies edge. We will see. lol All in all i am enjoying working with this strain so far and imagine a future grow to include a few more. Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower) This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time) Defoliation So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch. Diet Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now. Week 2 going strooong 💪🏼 Started some LST on it, watering with water and root booster 2-2 💧 You can see how the damaged two leaves are developing, but looks like it didn’t affect the growing. Hoping for good results 💚 Day 13, watering her once in two days (250ml) 2 times with plain water and 2 times with molasses water+root/growth booster and there is dry organic fertiliser in the soil (NPK 8-5-1) 🌱 growing good, took her further away from light (now 50cm) hoping for some stretch 😉 Day 14, finally got the bio-bizz nutrients, starting to add those, transplanted to bigger textile pot, gave her water + bio grow today 🌱

Day 16 of 12/12

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! 🇩🇪 23.-25.10. der grow läuft gut diese Seite hier läuft behindert über eine Woche könnte ich nichts updaten.(alles geht jede Seite etc. nur das updaten des diaries nicht.) deswegen auch kein Bock das jetzt alles nachzutragen. Fuck you verantwortlicher dafür das diese Seite läuft wie sie läuft und genauso den Server Betreiber!!! Update das ganze mal so das es auch funktioniert. Ich hab die letzten Wochen so oft lessen dürfen. Ooops something Broke! Wollt ihr größer werden muss das laufen sonst kann man niemanden überzeugen diese Seite zu nutzen. Weil es einfach keinen Spaß macht. 22.10. - das autopotsystem ist wieder eingeschaltet die schalen unter den Töpfen waren wieder leer. Die Töpfe haben zwar noch gut Gewicht gehabt aber da sie inzwischen immer schneller wachsen hab ich entscheiden es jetzt eingeschaltet zu lassen. Im Tank der EC ist 1,3 und pH 5,8 (für den Fall das es mit der Zeit leicht nach oben geht) Ansonsten hab ich die Triebe da wo es ging unter den Blättern hervorgeholt und die Blätter darunter geklemmt. 21.10. - die Pflanzen fangen an Gas zu geben. Die autopot Schalen sind fast leer die Töpfe sind nach wie vor schwer genug so das ich das System vermutlich erst morgen/übermorgen wieder einschalten werde. Sie sollen erstmal das verbrauchen was sie beim ersten einschalten bekommen haben und nicht dauerhaft feucht stehen. 20.10. - die Hälfte der Tank Füllung ist einfach im Topf über Nacht verschwunden am Abend waren nur noch ein paar Liter drin so das gerade so die Pumpe für die Umwälzung unten bedeckt war, dementsprechend den Tank mit 30l neu aufgefüllt. Aber erstmal abgeschaltet die Töpfe sind schwer genug. 19.10. - der Tank ist mit 20l gefüllt. Athena Nährstoffe hinzugefügt in folgender Reihenfolge Balance (10ml), Grow B (26ml), Grow A (26ml), CaMg (8ml), Cleanse (10ml), Canna pH- (7ml). Eingeschaltet und die Schalen sind voll gelaufen hoffentlich danken die Ladys es mir die kommende Woche über. Happy Growing💛🏼 . 🇬🇧 October 23-25: The grow is going well, but this site is a mess. For over a week, I haven't been able to update anything. (Everything else works, every page, etc., except updating the diary.) That's why I don't feel like adding all that now. Fuck you, whoever's responsible for this site running, and the server operator too!!! Update everything so it actually works. I've had to read so many times in the last few weeks. Oops, something's broken! If you want to grow, this has to work, otherwise you can't convince anyone to use this site. Because it's no fun. 10/22 - The Autopot system is back on. The trays under the pots were empty again. The pots still have a good weight, but since they're growing faster and faster, I decided to leave it on for now. The EC in the tank is 1.3 and the pH is 5.8 (in case it rises slightly over time). Otherwise, I've plucked the shoots out from under the leaves where possible and tucked the leaves underneath. 10/21 - The plants are starting to thrive. The Autopot trays are almost empty, and the pots are still heavy enough that I probably won't turn the system on again until tomorrow or the day after. They should use up what they received the first time i turned the System on, and not be left standing in a permanently damp place. 10/20 - Half of the tank's contents simply disappeared into the pot overnight. By evening, only a few liters remained, just enough to cover the circulation pump at the bottom. I refilled the tank with 30 liters accordingly. I added Athena nutrients in the following order: Balance (10 ml), Grow B (26 ml), Grow A (26 ml), CaMg (8 ml), Cleanse (10 ml), and Canna pH- (7 ml). I turned it on and the trays are full.
